- 01/19/2016 I purchased this safe and have had some time to mess with it and give you some insight on the product. I would recommend this safe highly. Product # FS-18-MB-C. Fire resistant up to 1400 degrees for 30 minutes. Combination lock safe by Stack-On.
last year I bought the same stack on safe at Sam's club on clearance $179 .
How do you add a dehumidifier rod to it? I can't find a plug/hole for electrical
Damn good price for what you get. Nothing else compares for features vs price.
How is the vertical panel attached?
I got it yesterday, But I could not find any documents how to change the combination code. I guess I need to stick with the combination code that Stack-On gave it to me :)
Yeah I believe it's unchangeable. How do you like the safe so far?
I will give it 4.9 stars :). Btw, I saw a video on UA-cam. One guy took at least 30 minutes to break that old model of Stack-On safe with tools!
I think I'll be stopping by SAMs tomorrow.
I have this gun safe and the trouble im having with it the bolts the bottom one is not opening up all the way so I can't get it to open annual suggestion would be helpful thanks

Just bought this one with the electronic lock on it waiting for it to be delivered how is it holding up for you and have you had any issues with anything
I returned the electronic lock for a standard combination. I didn’t like the cheap feel of the electronic.

How many long guns will it hold when shelving is installed?
JC Strick around 4 depending on optics. I have a .22, deer rifle, 5.56 rifle, and shotgun in mine. The shotgun doesn’t fit in the holding part, it rests near the door.

+Jayhawker1288 nope no just got one. It's pretty awesome. I'm going to modify it cause my AR and AK don't reach up to the shelf thingy... Currently I built a shelf up like you did..
I have noticed that the vertical rails for the rail clips in mine aren't installed evenly, causing my shelves to be a little unbalanced

I don’t believe you can change the combo on the safe. I don’t have the manual in front of me though to double check though
Thank You Jay. I took a risk and did it myself based on some of the information you shared. there's no key for this type . But I used some of your method . I switch the locking mechanism to a second available position. Its just a part that locks into the last cam disk. Then i slowly lined up the cams disk so the door slide would fit in the grove. I wrote down the position of the dail as I did each wheel. and Presto! I have a new combination. I think this type only has 2 combo position. Anything more I think would require 3 new cam disc.
