They come pre-assembled, so unless you have something to mount it on the roof for transport, I don't think it will fit inside, but I haven't tried moving one with a car.
these are meant to meet the minimum requirements of safe storage laws and appease your significant other when you first start bringing home guns.... YEARS later I want to upgrade my "safe" and she won't let me b/c now I want something bigger.
No Fire Resistance, not an actual Safe. I'll stick with my over 20 yr old 'American Security' safe for storing valuables. Those cabinets are about the same as a School Locker, which I happen to have in the garage to store things in. Nicely done, thanks for the info.
I’ve never seen a fire rated safe save any guns Inside them so I think the point is moot. Secure storage is a gun owner’s responsibility. Make your own decision.
Safes are definitely the long term way to go, but as a young adult who rents instead of owns, I don't trust the older floors on my second floor to hold the weight of a big safe, but I also don't like the idea of having a safe on the first floor while I sleep on the second. So for many people in this type of situation, these cabinets are great options. Especially with no children in the home, and with how cheap cameras are now, you can always install one pointing right at the cabinet for extra security in case of a break in.
These keep the kids and shady in-laws out and they are great for upstairs.
exact situation i’m looking at. want something in my room but don’t want to have it come through my ceiling 🤣
hi how are you ? I was wondering if it will feet on a Toyota Camry ?

I have a Lexus GS that’s the size of a Camry and I couldn’t get it to fit. Had to have my girl come pick it up in her SUV from the store.

Try buying a set of balls. Helps with lots of issues like your experiencing.

I didn't even think of talking about the fire resistance, that would have been a good point to make.

@@GearyGundersonI have this exact cabinet.

It's a cabinet, not a safe. Plus fire resistance doesn't really do anything as your guns are still going to be wrecked.
