The reason you remember the sanji line with "the ordeal of love" is 100% because of the luffy and usopp moment when they imitate sanji and got their face kicked xD
How the priests got defeated
Satory: got kicked
Owm: got pounded
Shura: got rejected
Gedatsu: suficated himself to the sea
Imagine vivi asking about Gedatsu's origin and learning that a magical transforminh raindeer droped him of a cloud 10,000 meters up in the air and then being like magical transforming raindeer that sounds femilia... CHOPPER DID WHAT!?!?

@The Black Trigger Actually, i looked it up. And actually one piece came first. late 90's for the manga and anime. While fairy tail's anime started in 2009 and the manga was beginning in 2006. Just saying, a few quick google searches helps.

Theory: Gedatsu is like that because he tried too hard to empty his mind to use mantra and can't turn it off.
This is pretty perfect, haha. It is now Canon!
I just realized that Kaido isn't the first character we've seen fall from a sky island. Gedatsu did it years ago!
Gedatsu has a durability feat that simular to kaido, gedatsu a tank apparently he got what I like to call "oonga boonga strength"
Although he's definitely pretty durable too, didn't Gedatsu have one of his jet boots left to slow his fall?

In reality though with falling at about 230 meters you reach terminal velocity. So falling 250 meters of 25000 meters makes no difference. You will hit the ground at the same speed. Falling from higher up will allow you to reach higher speeds initially because the air is thinner and generates less drag but as you fall through the thickening atmosphere your speed slows.

Still waiting for a 20-minute Wyper vid, Tekking! He was the most interesting character introduced in Skypeia imo and my favorite single-arc character! He fights on par with Luffy and even temporarily killed Enel. He has seastone skates, dope native-like mask/shield, a hardcore burn dial-powered bazooka, the seemingly now underrated reject dial, awesome tattoos, a badass mohawk and the obligatory cool-guy cigarette!
Wyper is just super cool and super interesting with some insane durability feats and impressive fighting skills on par with Luffy during their skirmish despute not having a DF or a bladed weapon against our beloved rubber boi!
But on the subject of this video, I actually liked Shura! I like the heat lance and the aviator/knight combo aesthetic he has! Like a WWI pilot jousting with a fiery lance. As someone that has a deep interest in military aviation AND medieval European military cavalry, his design really appeals to me even if is one of the two weaker Priests of Enel.
Wyper was the best, him fighting for vearth an his ancestors was some of the best scenes he was dedicated always got up
On par with Luffy? By the skypia arc he was way better than Luffy
Wyper's reaction to a descendant of noland still believing in them and crying makes me cry every time. I really hope he meets the other montblanc and they too become bestfriends
On the subject of the priests, greatsu's swamp clouds were always my favorite. I just found them to be weird and unique compared to the other cloud dial weapons
Ohm reminds me of Mr.Big from King Of Fighters
Shura and Wyper were also my favourite of this arc. If only shura did a bit more lol
One of my favorite moments with Gedatsu is when his assistant had enough to the point where he teams up with chopper to help defeat Gedatsu.
When Kaidou tried do kill himself jumping from a sky island, i remembered that Gedatsu jet-propelled himself from a sky island, falls head first into the ground and suffered ZERO damage
He forgot to feel pain.

Once you fall about 250 meters you reach your max fall speed. So even further doesn't matter. Kaido could have fallen from 300 meters, 3000 or 30.000. It wouldn't matter since he would still hit the ground at the same speed.
Why don't all 4 engage their trial all at once? That would be awesome!

That would be sick but they were all pretty territorial so that would probably never happen sadly
So kay gamer is probably the closest to a reasonable explanation, but as all for one said they would have actually had a chance to win and Oda cant let the bad guys win! But yeah it would have been alot more compelling drama if they all worked together

I think everyone of the Four priests represents the 4 Elements.
Shura represents the Fire. He uses a Heat-Spear that produces fire and uses a Fire-breathing Bird.
Ohm represents the Earth. He uses a Iron-Like Sword. Also Iron-Like Wires. The Iron is a Material That usually comes from the Earth.
Gedatsu I mean represents the Water. He uses Clouds That represents Swamp Water... In Skypiea the Water is Cloud.
And Finally Satori represents the Air. He uses a Dragon-like Orb Attack and he floats.
And the Boss of All is Enel, Who represents the Lightning.
11:54 Probably a mix of pride and laziness, as in he has the priests deal with people who aren't strong enough for him to be bothered killing. The only problem with this theory is the random lighting bolts he seems to drop of people with little to no effort. Maybe it's also a form of entertainment watching his underlings kill people for him.

Sky Island kind of feels like a filler arc in hindsight. Then it leads into Long Ring Long Land, which also feels like a filler arc. And sandwiched in between them is an actual filler arc that feels more canon than both of them.

The Entire Villain Team of One of the Largest Arcs: 36 minute video to the entire group, including tangents on other villains and the development of the dub.
I think that makes it very clear why most people don't care about the priests.
Yesterday I was literally wondering why there was no videos on the priests, this is so convenient XD. Also there is not many videos about the skypeia arc in general lol (edit) 40 likes, is it sad that this is the most amount of likes I've ever gotten on a comment before. Either way, THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH.
I think its because skypiea is underplayed because nothing from it has played back into the story yet. But Enel will return and everyone will bring it back up

Actually, the first time we see Doflamingo display his powers is right before Blackbeard is revealed where he controls 2 vice admirals into fighting each other. So it was actually before Skipea.
I actually really liked the priests.
I remember when first watching the fight between the first priest and luffy, sanji and usopp.
Even if his ability was goofy i thought he was a huge threat.
It was one of the only time 2 out of the "monster trio" had to team up to take down a single enemy and they still struggled with taking him down.
I think the real problem is that we don't really see them interacting. We didn't have the dozens of snippets of character of Baroque works or the long introduction of CP9.
When you say malleable weapons, I'm thinking Musica from Rave Master. He's a silver melder, or something like that. So he wears lots of silver baubles, and when in a fight, will morph in a spear, or ropes, or basically anything that he needs at the moment.
I thought of nozel silva from black clover and I don't know if he was also thinking of his mercury magic
Maybe also Alice from sword art online alociazation?

I have a crazy & interesting question that popped into my head yesterday & I was hoping you could theorize it in depth: You were afraid of a freed Pica in Impel Down, but imagine, could Pica use the Isshi-Isshi no Mi to assimilate with the Moon? Or maybe the Red Line? Because even if he can’t completely assimilate with the WHOLE thing, good Eneru, help us. Thanks a bunch!

Two options came to mind when you were talking about swords like Ohm's cloud sword.
First, Diamante. Very reminiscent of the malleable sword thing.
Second, if you were thinking of Bleach, then I think Rangiku's Haineko is the closest. But that's much more cloud than malleable sword.

Speaking of Sanji, you should do a video on all of his attacks and techniques. One that he used so far and new one that he might develops, with and without the raid suit. Since you did video on Luffy, Zoro, and Usopp attacks and techniques.

Sanji didn't say anything about tenderizing meat when he kicked Satori, he talked about the proper way to crush pepper to maximize its flavore. Thats the weirdly specific line I remember.

I’ve rewatched one piece 4 times with different people throughout my life, and the Satori episodes are my hell.
Keep in mind, I'm not hating on Satori because of his body-shape or voice, I just don't like him because he reminds me of a guy I know who has the same body-shape and voice and is annoying as fuck.

@tekking101 apologies if someone had said this already but i think the person you may be thinking of was Musica from Rave Master. He had the ability to manipulate silver (and i think other metals) into any shape. He was basically prototype for Gray in Fairy Tail.

Funnily enough, I read the title and was trying to remember them all and the only one I couldn’t remember was Gedatsu. I remember Shuras fight with the sky knight, Zoros fight with Ohm, and the super annoying trial they went through vs Satori

Late to the party but I just finished Skypea. Gedatsu not only fell into one of his swamps, he actually activated his jet dial that he used to go high and avoid the swamps in the first place. But he was head first in it and in his stupidity he activated the dial and went down. He jet boosted to the ground below
To me the fact that some of these characters aren’t memorable shows how great one piece is
There was an anime called gun X sword. The main character had a weapon that was basically cloth that hardened when he ran an electric current through it so he could use it as a grappling hook or a sword

Lol He doesn't even use the poniglyphs, he just sorta accidentally drifts into it by floating on his back, on the surface of the water. Lol He even accidentally learns how to float and then forgets how to stop. Lol he literally becomes the Luigi of One Piece, he becomes king of the pirates without doing a damn thing. Lol

When ever tekking mentions 4kidz I remember that for some reason my bf has pirated versions of the entire one piece dub.
So gedatsu fell from a sky island and lived and all this time I’ve been making a big deal of Kaido surviving that fall when an early one piece villain survived it.
I imagine Gedatsu meeting a woman during his job, ten years later, "Oh, how careless! I'm married and I have two kids!"
And his wife be like, "Oh you finally notice, honey. And we actually have three. you forgot your basic maths again."
Gedatsu: "What's your name again?"
Gedatsu's wife: "Gedatsu, you're an idiot!"

Ohm’s cloud sword was always my favorite weapon in OP.

I have figured out where the All Blue is Located! It's in the calm belt near reverse mountain on the New World side of the Grandline.
Tekking you go on so many tangents they end up making an intricate web 😂.
I remember shura because I just reread skypeia last week. Even Ohm and Sattori are more memorable, though.
Gedatsu is pretty memorable for his quirk and his jet dials imo. Him vs Chopper was fairly fun and somewhat memorable fight at least.

I think the sword you're thinking of is Diamante's. he used his fruit to turn it into a bull's head and later on a whip
