Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy is the most reliable source of happiness in wrestling. As he said, you just don't need a backstory : here's a savage boy who does flippy stuff, and his dinosaur friend who's a force of nature. You got my money.
Basically the odd couple where the secret is they're both as odd as each other. The best kind of odd couple! Too many teams like that have a 'straight guy' when it's really best without one at all (like Booker T/Golddust for the first type, whereas R-Truth/Golddust was more entertaining).
Good Dinosaur vibe.
Not to mention, it's gonna result in (potentially) one of the greatest heel turns of all time.
The outpouring of love over their gimmick from former and current wrestlers is pretty great. Ryback had an entertaining take on it, and absolutely loves the two as a team. Something just WORKS about these two. And not only that, they are amazing in the ring.

WWE has been too soft since the end of the attitude era, AEW is where it's at now

Before this interview, I'll be honest - I'd still be laughing at this comment tomorrow. But now I've seen it? Absolutely. The gimmick is that perfect mix of silliness and intimidation and the guy behind it seems awesome! Deserves to go far!

You're not alone, ALOT of people are picking him and Jungle Boy to win the tag straps, and after Fyter Fest they only picked up more steam, I'm ALL about this tag team and I'm looking forward to seeing them on TV in the fall.

It's crazy how things worked out for him. He got called while leaving Vegas, that got him back to wrestling again, and then makes his AEW debut in Vegas. A part of his character was created by Dusty and later was called by Cody to work for AEW. And when he started, he met Jungle Boy and now they're a team. It's like a triple full circle.
Also, going by these interviews, which are great, they seem like a big family. They help each other out, and just happen to be there when they need it. That part made me smile the most.

actually, the audio from the cameras sound better when it comes to normalization... there’s no loud / soft / loud issues when the mic is too close then too far from the speaker. this is an awesome interview. luchasaurus and jungle boy remind me of something out of hanna-barbera era.

@@hankrowland6608 ROH isn't near as strict on their rules, he would be able to probably interview ROH wrestlers just definitely not WWE because WWE isn't going to want him interviewing their talent if he's signed by AEW. The other companies though(Impact, NJPW, ROH, ect) I don't think it would be a problem as they're way more open to working with/allowing their talent to be interviewed by other companies
Phoenix uh they are free to do their other endeavors while in AEW.
The good news is, he is officially signed with AEW now as a backstage interviewer. Which is great, since I honestly think Chris is the best interview guy out there right now. Hands down.

Man, Dusty's vision of him develop into this character and instilling believe in him is crazy amazing.
When I saw this character at DON participating in the rumble, I thought to myself this guy has something special. Hasn't perfected all the skills yet which will take time, but he showed me something that literally made me a fan
He seems like a really cool dude, and I gained a new level of respect for him!
I think he will do well in AEW. He has a standout look and I can see him and jungle boy making a fun tag team.
