Just incredible, sung with sadness but so much passion. The world’s best and most ever popular song, and an incredible actress to. What an amazing woman she was, thanks for uploading this version.
Isn't that marvelous on so many levels? The sadness and loss for her homeland. The joy and pride she must have felt for her chosen land. For all this to be wrapped up in one song... Whether sung in English or German, Marlene sang this from the heart! Bravo!!
On the night the atmosphere was electric and we could all sense the urgency of troops marching down the Champs Elysées or into Poland and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. The same with almost every song esp. boys in the back-room.
I have very ,very much Respect for this lady ...she put her money where her mouth was ...she went overseas to support our Armed Forces....she went into Europe close to the front on many times...Hitler had a price on head, if she could be capture it would most likely been a death sentence...she was up near the front when the Battle of the Bulge started and had to be quickly moved back due to the Germans quick break through in Dec of 1944 . A long held Salute to you Marlene ...We still Love You and your Service and Loyalty is never forgotten....
infondo li da qualche parte hanno un cuore anche i tedeschi la cosa che mi fa pensare dopo 70 anni guardate i commenti qui sotto scritti in tutte le lingue del mondo questa canzone ancora ricorda l indimenticabile.....

she is a great human being and artist
No shut Up
I have always loved her.
She could sing, but in addition, she walked the walk. She was there, just behind the line.Courage and decency exemplified.
Marlene Dietrich would beat John Wayne to death.
I wonder how she feels when she singed this song. It must've brought a lot of memory back from the wartime.
She was a war hero.
wow!!!!.... magnifica!
Que hermosa señora y que linda voz tan armónica y clara.
Why am I crying without know every word of what she say 😢😢😢
