We need to be getting a snow dlc in Halo Infinite. Like from Halo CE, those snow levels are the best because they’re open and explorable and the snow just adds to the aesthetic. And the open world factor in Halo Infinite would give them so much creative freedom
They never should’ve replaced both that and the plasma repeater with the Storm rifle. Should’ve had the Plasma Rifle, Plasma Repeater, and Pulse Carbine in infinite especially.
You shouldn't, it was bad for the weapons sandbox. All those guns had to have their dmg halved or lowered to compensate for holding two of them. I'd rather a permanent dual wield, or o dual wield with fully functioning weapons.

All they had to do was Increase Recoil & Bullet Spread/Bloom to balance out the Higher damage output & Higher RoF dual wielding should have had. 343 can easily implement dual wielding into infinite without needing to nerf half the sandbox. Just keep it out of MP & make a skull for it in Campaign & Optional in Custom Games/Forge.
For as much as I love H3 and it’s campaign, I always felt like something was missing. This is that something. For as cool as it is having MC and Arbiter- and his elite comrades whose names escape me right now, I always wished to see more of how the Schism affected the covenant from the Elites’ side.
@@tTaseric my point is that the Chief’s and Corrana’s story was finished. They should have left him in space able to bring him back sometime later. And halo 3 left a perfect start to a game about Arby and Rtas. We should have moved on from cheif like Bungie was doing before they left Halo and explored the alien’s POV

I'm going to say right off the bat.. Custom Halo campaigns could be kick-started with enough community support. Maybe Keith and other VA's from Halo could voice their characters for fans through cameo? I'd support that.
Back then, me and my brother also try to keep all allies alive in Halo 2. Especially in Sacred Icon and Uprising, really fun to attack on full force. What make it harder is they always stuck, so we had to push them one by one. We actually prioritize grunts more than Elites lol. Grunts in Halo 2 are really cute
IMO the Halo 3 Brutes are the best visually and environmental/interaction wise in the series. The way the Brutes cheered and roared after the Chieftain spoke is just fantastic.
I always hated how easy they were to kill and how their armor just all fell off after a few shots or a single melee. I think Halo 2 and Infinite did brutes best
@@threadworm437 For gameplay I agree with you. However IMO Halo 3/ODST did the Brutes right visually. Despite the over use of the color blue. However the Banished Brutes are a close 2nd.
Imagine if *Halo Infinite forge* introduces placeable AI, and adds "mission" features Reset objects and enemies on death, mission updates on your UI, custom camera cutscenes, custom npc captions/dialog that can be triggered It wouldn't be anywhere as cool as this mod, but people making their own custom campaigns in forge is some untapped potential imo
I know it looks like high charity, because it's easier to copy and paste map geometry and re-texture it, but behind the scenes of halo 2 shows high charity was supposed to be the carrier design
This is why I love it when devs give communities modding tools. There is NO downside! All you get is free publicity through YT videos & the community is happy. It's a win-win.

Modding players can then circumvent the paywalls by just giving themselves what the devs made to be payed for. Bad actors may if given the opportunity manipulate a videogame software to give themselves access to player and/or publisher networks. This is more of a risk with monetized games as they are always connected to one or both systems. For a real example of these things: _Grand Theft Auto Online_

There's a lot more, some of which are important here: Decision Makers at Major Games Companies. Their goal is money. All of it. Modding in their games may prevent that, so to them it is a downside. Therefore, they will decide not to allow their games to be mod-able and so they won't be. This is why Live-Services rarely have modding. TLDR; Modding is a downside to greedy execs 'cause it's work with no obvious immediate profit potential.

@@177SCmaro yeah fallout 4 narratively speaking had so many plot holes (being a general of an army yet told to go run meaningless takes is one blatant one). That said, it being an RPG, it needed some repeatable tasks. I just think they could have come up with something that made more sense such as leading divisions if the militant group in full on raids instead of solo expeditions.

Ever since I played through all the games again with a friend who never played Halo before to get ready for Infinite, I've always felt like Arbiter in Halo 3 was just having his own campaign offscreen that I wish I got to play. This isn't the same but hopefully it'll be finished and help fill that need I didn't know I had for the past 15 years.
I don't wanna have unrealistic expectations, But man, just imagine if Halo Infinite's Forge mode is robust enough for you to essentially create your own levels like this. A man can hope and dream...
Halo 2 assets would actually work in Halo 3 in terms of canon because the games are merely days apart from each other, and it feels right too. If they could get voice actors with deeper voices for the custom voice work for the sangheili, the mod would be a 10/10 in my book

There's another custom campaign mod that came out recently called Mysteries of the Mountain if I remember correctly. It's pretty cool and I certainly recommend checking it out.
This is unbelievably cool. Would be neat to have something where you're in charge of a standard covenant team and can give them quick commands as you deal with an onslaught of marines with a few spartans thrown in there. Or anything where you can play as the other species
One problem I have with the story: They have the bigger ship, and the brute just have one CCS Battlecruiser. Also the Shadow of Intent was about to jump.
The voice acting itself doesn't bother me, just the writing of the dialogue, and the ending. The elites would practically never evacuate, they'd rather die honorably fighting the Brutes on their ship. Secondly, the dialogue sounds more like humans speaking to each other in Sangheili accents. They don't talk like nobles, rather they speak as if they were scared, naive little children. It's just not who the Sangheili are and it's a little unnerving. However, the rest of the campaign seems fine. The enemy placement could use some touchup but other than that it seems to play very well! Looking forward to the finished product! Note: This is just a critique. I admire the time and effort clearly put into this campaign:)
There's nothing scarier than a brute with a fuel rod cannon. My God. This custom campaign looks really cool though. It takes some serious dedication and skill create custom animations I a game like this.

God damn I wish I was capable of making something half this good. I can't imagine how much skill something like this takes, the people who made this mod are like human gods.
The cutscene is pretty cool, not to sold on the other Elites and Rtas, but Thel seems pretty well done so far. I know why they've done it, but it's a shame that there doesn't appear to be allied Grunts, same applies for Hunters lol. But you can hope for when the "full" thing comes out. somehow having them very easily recognisable as friendly, would be easy for the Hunters tho. Overall very cool tho
Thanks for recommending my mod! :) Honestly it's been interesting comparing my mod to this one, these guys went in a very different direction in terms of how we did things like dialogue and cutscenes, but ultimately both our mods are very similar in themes! I can't wait to see more out of the modding community! :)

I would never let my elites die during halo 3 campaign, I was legit obsessed with them, on the other hand I played crows nest 1000 times trying to kill all the marines
5:00 I’m the same way with halo 3 on floodgate and the covenant keeping all the elites alive, but this you’re doing will be fine if it was me, but the reason was, I didn’t want any elites dead in those 2 missions is because I don’t want them getting infected by the flood
Not sure if this is coincidence but ripa moramee would often say “it will be done” to the prophet of regret and i heard the elite say that when you broke off after the first wave.
I have these amazing ideas for a custom mod but I have no idea how to do that stuff. I really need to get in touch with some modders to help. One even adds a whole new game mode which really engages teamwork against a powerful foe

My favorite looking brutes are the halo 2A brutes. They look (and act) very animalistic and just feel menacing when fighting them

Not very confident in the Arbiters answer of "We will see" sounds very similar to "I don't know"
Some of you might not have noticed this but when he disabled the jackals shields it never flee it continued shooting

I have these amazing ideas for a custom mod but I have no idea how to do that stuff. I really need to get in touch with some modders to help. One even adds a whole new game mode which really engages teamwork against a powerful foe
