  • Join the 3 amigos - Robin, Kevin and Greg for another hiking and wild camping adventure taking in 3 Munros and a Corbett with an overnight camp in the Glencarron and Glenulg Forest area. I had some unfinished business with 2 of the mountains from a previous trip nearly 10 years ago that didn't quite go to plan.
🏔 Mountains climbed on this trip:
Day 1: Moruisg and Sgùrr nan Ceannaichean
Day 2: Sgùrr Chòinnich and Sgùrr a'Chaorachain.

I did these in the late 1980s when I think they were both Munros. Moruisg was my 200th Munro and we did them as part of a six day Exped from Torridon to Kintail. I recall it was a particularly midgy trip! We camped in the same valley as you, intending to stay 2 nights but we moved up to the Bealach Bhearnais for the second night because of the midges, only to find they were just as bad up there! Thanks for sharing. Good to see you and Kev back out again.

We have 'walk wires' here in NZ. It needs a couple of tie wires to stop it spreading. We can have wires up to 3 times that length, and it can be pretty scary to cross when you have a raging river below. Enjoyed the video ATB Cheers from the mountains of NZ ☺☺
