Good to see you back on the hills Robin. You covered a lot of ground as usual carrying your wild camping gear. Great balance and bog rescuing skills too! ATB Derek
I did these in the late 1980s when I think they were both Munros. Moruisg was my 200th Munro and we did them as part of a six day Exped from Torridon to Kintail. I recall it was a particularly midgy trip! We camped in the same valley as you, intending to stay 2 nights but we moved up to the Bealach Bhearnais for the second night because of the midges, only to find they were just as bad up there! Thanks for sharing. Good to see you and Kev back out again.
Hi Robin, just found your channel and loving all the videos so far. I love to be out walking my dog (a black Staffy called Rocky) he says Hi,. My favourite walking gear is Rab and have recently purchased a pair of Keen Pyranees boots. Keep up the great work x
Hey Kathy, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I have a black Staffy too, called Luna. She's only made a couple short cameos in my vids. Rab are one of my favourites too, did you see the behind the scenes video? Was a really good laugh.
Stunning area Robin, that Corbett looks a beaut like ⛺️. Really nice trip that mate, tent looking canny, I bought a few magnets for further along the door to stop it flapping, works a treat 👍. Thanks for sharing mate, Atb 👍
Cheers Davie, it was an enjoyable tour. Great thing having a tent on your back to cover these types of areas. If you do a wee vid of the tent I'll see what you've done with the magnets.
Laughed so much - ..my pitch is perfect! What do you like about it? Nothing!😁 Is he really saying hiya hen at the beginning of the interview or I didn't get that correctly? Brilliant boys!
Canny Robin, some effort on those munros! wouldnt like to be making that crossing in bad weather. Its a guaranteed fall in the river with all your kit! TFS Steven
Ey up Robin. Cracking video as always pal. Been a long time since we've had wrap o'clock time. Thanks for sharing your trip with us, cheers and all the best Dave
We have 'walk wires' here in NZ. It needs a couple of tie wires to stop it spreading. We can have wires up to 3 times that length, and it can be pretty scary to cross when you have a raging river below. Enjoyed the video ATB Cheers from the mountains of NZ ☺☺
Really enjoyed that Robin 😍👍..Good to see you out with Greg and Kev..I would defo of fallen off that wire 😂..I defo need a camp soon..Not been camping for ages..Great edit mate 😁👌🏻 Cheers Murchie
OK Robin , here's a daft question. Why did you carry all your gear with you on the second day if you came back down to the same river crossing. Why not re pitch one tent and leave all the gear inside?
@@tonycostello5210 why you on UA-cam then? FWIW I don't seek recognition either Tony, I enjoy filming and editing. Folk can choose whether to watch or not.
@@WalkWithWallaceAnother troll eh. 🙄 Funny how he's drawing attention to himself by commenting on your video. It's almost as if he's seeking recognition. 😏

Haha. Cheers Kerry. Aye always a bit of daft banter. 😁 👍🏼
Wow! Those views on the ascent Robin. I'm amazed you have kept all your footage from that far back! Nice to see Kev back out, Superbos mate👍👍
Cheers Tony. That was pre youtube days where I just took short clips here and there. Kept them all. 😁

Cheers G, that sounds like a cracking trip discounting the midge of course.
Great vid, I really enjoyed these Munros.. some effort required from your 1st and 2nd Munro! Underrated part of Scotland 😁🏴 Cheers, James
Cheers James, aye they don't get mentioned often. The two Sgurrs are both nice peaks. 👌🏼 🏴
Cracking Robin a superb area of the Highlands another great visit video prompts me to re visit this area thanks
Thanks Andrew. 😎 👍🏼
Good stuff Robin , looked a good trip mate . Ive still to do these hills , so a good insight on what to expect ...cheers Stevie
Cheers Stevie, good way of combining them. First time around with Hendo and Iain, we also did Maoile Lunndaidh.
Great video. Always nice to scratch a long standing itch! 😂
Mate that has bugged me for ages. Stupid really with such a broad summit plateau does it really matter what Cairn you touch? 🤷🏻♂️
@@WalkWithWallace It shouldn't- but it does!🤣
@@AirdrieRambler welcome to the weird and wonderful world of hill bagging. 😂
Cracking vid mate, enjoyed the craic between you all. Well done for going back for the cairn again just in case 🙌
Cheers DJ, had to exercise that demon. I reckon we touched the 2nd Cairn not the third that I first thought at the time.
@@WalkWithWallace think you can be forgiven for missing some of the detail of the cairn in the weather you had 😂
@@outdoorsdj haha, I've definitely bagged it twice then. 😜
Nice one Robin that looked rough the first time up better weather this time rap o'clock 😅😅 love it atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Cheers Jimmy. It was brutal mate first time around. A long way to travel for a 3hr hike. 😂

Remember them hills well.
I camped up Moruisg and the 2 Sgurrs but on separate occasions.
A good area
I mind you did that mate, definitely a bit of an underrated area. 🗻
@@WalkWithWallace that was some clip of the first time you were up there... wild 😫

What a lovely remote area. That "bridge" though. The only time I would definitely NOT use it is if the river was in spate!
I don't think I could bring myself to cross it either if there was a raging torrent below. 😂
Very nice video gents love it ❤
Thanks so much Dawid. 😁 👍🏼

Hiya hens 🐔🐔👋😂
😁😁
When I was a New Entry instructor in the Royal Navy I saw more than a few recruits go for a wash during the rope crossing exercise
Ha, I can imagine the bridge being longer and more shakey?

Fair point. Kev actually stashed his gear by the wire bridge. I wasn't too bothered, good training. 😁
I ditched ma gear and had a light pack over the 2 Munros. 🙌 They 2 numbnuts carried aw their gear. 😉
