Nintendo will do exactly what they did with the Wii U and Switch on the Switch 2. Any game that didn't "make enough money" on the switch or that they think they dupe people into buying again will be ported to the Switch 2. The only thing you can look forward to will be last gen games with the letters HD or DX. Coming soon: Tropical Freeze Super HD, Breath of the Wild HD, Mario Kart 9 DX HD, Mario Odyssey HD, ... and the list goes on. HD games and remakes are big business copouts, sad shameless ways to continuously take money from the consumer. The reason why Nintendo showed nothing on the Switch 2 besides CG concept was because they have nothing now. They are fishing for audience reception of this system by focusing on the size of the screen, the controllers, and the mouse feature, thats all! No OLED screen, only an oversized TFT will make this an expensive downgrade from what is already on the market. It's marketed as "backwards compatible" so they can keep stalling until one of their dev's finishes some shovelware to buy them more time. Originality is dead, creativity is risky and expensive, and DRM is the future. As for the games, well, nothing like having multiple copies the same ones on every system with slightly enhanced graphics, no changes to levels, endings, or anything else for that matter. No thanks, if I want to play the game again, I'll just play the original and save myself $80 each time it gets re-released. For those who get trapped in the consumerism spiral, enjoy the ride and endless circle of manipulation. I'm not holding my breath on any of the new systems or games, just look at what we have now and expect it to be ported again.
