I love your current look Greg!! I was blown away by that first 18 year old that went from a little facial hair to a dense, full beard!! Until I was 19 I preferred to be clean shaven. At that time I could only make it to growing my facial hair out for 2 weeks. It was pretty patchy but good coverage. I was really able to push myself good in 2021 to grow out a long beard. I ended up growing a really full and good looking beard for 3 months. My strongest parts are my neck, chin and sideburns. The slowest growing parts of my facial hair is my mustache, sole patch and my cheeks. After growing both of those for a year though, they look really strong!! I’ve really tried a couple times to grow a beard out for a year but man it REALLY takes patience and commitment! I definitely want to make it a goal to achieve that at least once in my life. I find it so funny how only 4 years ago I was set I’d never be able to grow decent facial hair or that I’d ever want to!🤣 And now from the last few years I’ve grown to LOVE having a short beard!! I’ve also been curious for a while to try a derma roller and growth serum/ oil for my patchiest parts of my facial hair. I have a kit of that I ordered from the beard struggle that I should be getting soon. I’m excited and curious to see how it may help!! I also just recently got a tree ranger of the utility oil. I am LOVING it and the packaging is so cool and very convenient with the pump!!
Actually my beard started to come in at 19 longer but not as thick it is today at 22 but from 15 to 18 it was going through all of it stages from child facial hair to a decent looking beard with patches.
There's something magical about the density of some of you guys' beards, though. I've had a full beard since I was 16, with hair halfway up my cheekbones and 2/3 down my throat. But I'm 31 now, and I will never get the density of Charles Costa. Man... Magnificence. And guys... Most girls don't even like beards, so don't feel too bad about not having one. Maybe it's a blessing.
I grew my first beard at 18. It was pretty thin and I had little growth on my cheeks. Now at 21 my cheek growth is now much more full but still have those patches around the chin like most guys. My strong area has been my neck and in a couple years I may go for a much longer beard than I currently have.
@@gamtoszinios1336 I have no idea what your genetics are but if you keep growing your beard it will fill in the spots with little patches but not spots with full bald spots. However, the older you get the more of a chance those bald spots may fill in over time. It really depends on genetics. In just a few years my beard went from absolute crap and everyone telling me to shave to having those same people say I have a decent beard now. Just give it time
I remember feeling jealous of other teenagers at that time due to looking so young. For me, I really began noticing significance in facial hair at the age of 23, when I decided to try a chinstrap. A mustache was tried at the time, which between lack of resources and knowledge, went away. First attempt at a full beard was at age 29/30 (part of me likes to think it was my birthday present to myself that year.) Circling back on appearances, with a shorter beard or shaven, people have thought I was younger than someone in my 40s.
I started growing my beard at 21 and didn't really have much going on. Now at 23 I am starting to see more of a filling in and growing fuller. I just let it grow and trim a little here and there but mostly just let it grow. Genetics don't really have very many men in my family with beard other than my prandpa here and there when he does grow it out. I'm majority french ancestry. A lot of my ancestors from mothers side in late 1800s early 1900s have full beard from pictures I seen. So I believe my beard going into late 20s to early 30s will have great potential to grow out to that beard everyone wants.
I could manage a wispy goatee and a klingon moustache from about 17 but it was about 25/26 before I could start wearing my beard properly full. At 32, there are still a few patches but they're full of vellus and transitional hairs that I wish would just hurry up and complete. Moustache still isn't completely covered up in the middle but I can sort of comb it that way.
At the age of 18 my face looked like a cactus when I tried to grow a beard. Now I'm 42 and my beard's full and I like it. But I had to wait it became like this when I reached ~35 years.

I’m 30 years old and just now comfortable letting my beard grow. But definitely some patchy areas under the lip around the soul patch. The mustache barely connects. Strong mustache chin and jaw. Patchy cheeks but can line them to make it seem fuller. Patience is the name of the game for most
My mature beard came in at 28 and even now it's still evolving, I'm regrowing my beard now again, at almost 32 and I can see places where I had a certain patches that now filled in better compared to one or two years ago and now I get a full long beard, but I knew this guy like 16 years ago, so he was I think also sixteen or so, he was about my age and rhat guy at sixteen could grow a huge beard, no patches, no thin spots, very thick I don't know how but that was can awesome beardcto have at that age

I’m 16 and have a fair amount of beard hair but my upper cheeks are pretty thin though and it grows a decent rate at about a cm every 2 weeks. I want to grow some form of facial hair for the first time but no idea if It will look good
I started to shave when I was maybe 13-14 years old. I did tried a big beard around 18-19 years old. I did had some patches. Low cheeks, tails of the mustache and the sides of the soul patch. I do my third experience of a big beard right now. I didn't trim since more than 2 years. Still had to manage some patches, but length give me a lot of coverage. The only one is under the lip that is actually normal so I try to not care. 🥰
When I was 16, I could grow a dense Van Dyke beard but not much on the neck and cheeks. Today, at 31, I can grow a full beard. I still wish it was denser on the cheeks. But, my God, it grows fast these days. 😅
Around 16/17 my facial hair came pretty quick and my strong areas were my mustache and goatee and now at 28 it's full beard similar to Greg's. My advice for younger guys is less is more so trim those wispy hair and show off your strengths on facial hair.
I'm 20 years old, I have a dominant mustache but my beard is just started to grow (completely nothing)and most of it are vellus hair, I will wait to it until it grows.
Man, some of these younger guys are giving me envy. Im 26, just recently started growing mine. I get pretty full coverage but it's definitely thinner below the sides of the mouth and it takes a while for my mustache to connect. I just have a soul patch instead of full coverage under the mouth. My friends called it the "evil magician" beard pattern. I've found my mustache grows more to the side while the connecting hairs just sortof sit there awkwardly beneath it, so I usually trim them and let the edges of the mustache connect when it's fuller. Anyone have any input?
I'm 21 and I only have a decent beard on my chin and a bit of a mustache. My cheeks are almost entirely bald. The thing that comes into play most is genetics whether you like it or not. Be patient. Two years ago I basically had nothing.
I am 24. until i was like 20/21 i couldnt grow that much of a beard. Now at age 24 i have way way more beard hair but its still developing. Im half turkish/serbian
Show Scandinavian youngsters beards. I didn't even get these guys beards until my 40s. I'm 49 now and I think that it's still maturing and becoming fuller. When I was this age I had nothing but peach fuzz that lasted until I was over 30. Only ever shaved every 3rd day to a week and nothing but chin hair. If you aren't getting it at a young age, don't worry. It may come in later in life.
I was an early bloomer my statsh came in at 12-13 soul patch at 14 but my beard at 16-17 would not touch the stash n goat area was weak then 20-21 full beard all around and thickness came in
For me at age 18 i just had a little bit where my mustache would be and a few hairs on my chin. Age 20 i had a full mustache and chin beard but still struggle on the sides. It was definitely patchy but now at age 24 i have a full, filled beard
At 23, mine is kinda like the one at 7:50, but thinner and about three times more chaotic. It may be because I wash it every day with regular soap though.
I started growing a beard by 16 or so but it was very fluffy, but when I hit 19-20 it started getting really thick and now its pretty much the exact same as the guy in the video when it's that long but brown not white haha I'm only 25 😂.
I had to wait. I'm 29 and the spot between my mustache and cheeks is thin but filling in along with my chin and lower lip. My Adam's apple is still filling in as well
i first started with a tiny strip of hair on my chin and some sideburns around 17 or 18 probably, and at 26 i can grow a pretty good beard, except my moustache is weak in comparison, but it was also the last thing to show up. probably didnt have stache hairs until 22 or 23, and they slowly get better.
My beard was pretty patchy probably until I was about 20 years old. My chin and mustache were always the stronger areas for growth, more so than the beard on my sideburns and cheeks. But by my early 20's I was able to grow a pretty full beard. The patchiness on the cheeks covered over quite well as it got some length, and the lower part of the beard grew very long. I grew it for about 5 years without trimming, and by age 28 my beard reached my waist. The first half of it was quite thick, and the bottom half would get more and more thinned out, but overall I liked the look. I'm now regrowing a long beard at the age of 36 and feel like it's coming in a bit thicker than it was back then, but not by a huge amount. It was quite thick then too, so I'm happy with the thickness now. There's quite a bit of grey in it this time around as well, which I like.
Hi Greg, great channel and interesting surname. Does your ancestors come from Poland by any chance? Original spelling of your surname is probably Brzezinski, and there was a Brzezinski family living in Brzeziny near Lodz. Lodz is my home city so greetings from the Poles.
Turning 24 this month. I've looked the same age since I was 15. My growth stunted, and even my weight. I've no joke weighed 52kgs for 9 years. When I was about 16, I would get maybe 3-4 hairs on my upper lip, and about 17, a stray hair here or there. Literally no more than 5 lol. I used to pluck them because I had no need for a razor for just a few hairs- but around 18 I got a razor even though it was a joke to even use it. I thought I was never going to have facial hair like my dad, who's got good coverage and it was only until the last couple years, 22- till now that it's started to ramp up out of nowhere. Mustache slowly filling between the lip and connecting to chin. Pretty sure about 25-26 I should have full-coverage. But until then, the van dyke don't go wrong.
During Santa Season, I take a different approach to styling my beard. First, its longer, so I have more hair to style. Second, using the diffuser on the hairdryer to 'CURL' my beard.
I was able to grow out some facial hair when I was 14 bye the time I was 18 I was a senior in high school and I was able to grow out a full beard hardley any patches now I’m 21 and I’m growing out a yeard and I almost look like a lumberjack

I grew my first "beard" in the first lockdown of 2020 like every other guy on the internet. I was 16 at the time. I grew it out for 4 weeks, and was surprised by the amount of hair I was able to grow. Uptil that moment I had never shaved in my life, rather just trimmed with a beard trimmer. After letting it grow, I had realized the true potential of my stubble and learnt that it was rather very patchy, and that my strong points were my moustache, and chin hair, whereby my sideburns and cheeks were just starting to grow.
Now 2 years later, after growing it out for 4 weeks again, those patches that once isolated the hairs, have now filled in and are started to connect in areas such as the soul patch, and moustache to sides. Although they are thin, they are there and from a close inspections will grow in great numbers.
Only now have I learnt that it is about time, along with regular maintence of your skin. Eventually I know that I will have that "dream beard" but for now all I can do is be patient and let aging do it's thing.

Ur right I'm Indian only 16 year old and have to trim every 3rd day my beard growth is crazy
I started growing a beard by 16 or so but it was very fluffy, but when I hit 19-20 it started getting really thick and now its pretty much the exact same as the guy in the video when it's that long but brown not white haha I'm only 25 😂.
im 22 and i love rockin short stubble🔥🔥🔥
I had to wait. I'm 29 and the spot between my mustache and cheeks is thin but filling in along with my chin and lower lip. My Adam's apple is still filling in as well
i first started with a tiny strip of hair on my chin and some sideburns around 17 or 18 probably, and at 26 i can grow a pretty good beard, except my moustache is weak in comparison, but it was also the last thing to show up. probably didnt have stache hairs until 22 or 23, and they slowly get better.
My beard didn't really start growing until my hair started falling out at 23 or 24
My beard was pretty patchy probably until I was about 20 years old.
When I was 15 year old I start growing beard now I am 20 I have full beard like you beard models

Hi Greg, great channel and interesting surname. Does your ancestors come from Poland by any chance? Original spelling of your surname is probably Brzezinski, and there was a Brzezinski family living in Brzeziny near Lodz. Lodz is my home city so greetings from the Poles.
I'm slowly growing. Taking forever at 24. Interesting how my brother grew his full beard at 20.
We had like a beard in my friendsgroup. Redbeard, greybeard, brownbeard and nobeard(me)😂
Turning 24 this month.
Its not too late for you to develop physically significantly with a major optimization of your diet and lifestyle.
That's the fake one with huge beard lol 😂

awesome video ! Hey Greg would you mind doing another beard styling video soon ? Do you do the same thing ? Your beard def looks fuller! Lookin Great!
During Santa Season, I take a different approach to styling my beard. First, its longer, so I have more hair to style. Second, using the diffuser on the hairdryer to 'CURL' my beard.
@@BerzinskyRules gotcha ! thank you!
