Well, "we" don't exist in IF's canon story. So Papyrus is Papyrus. xD The player only "exists" in the playable versions of IF chapters, where the player is essentially inserted into a story that does not have one normally and characters acknowledge when they're made to do things they normally wouldn't.
@@viraenthusiast It's just a music video. xD Idk if you're familiar with the actual story of the AU or not, but Papyrus is in charge of his own actions in the IF canon, same as Frisk. invertedfate.com/chapters
Are you still going to do the character analyses like the one you did on Papyrus for the other characters? You said Asgore or Frisk were next. Asgore is definitely the one needing a detailed takedown of all the flanderized , fanon bullshit , seeing as he is a most pivotal character in the story yet the worst characterised in most fan works. I would love to see you analyse in detail the most underrated Ut character just like you did with Papyrus.
i really like the theme, gives me the feeling of something sad happening got a question tho sorry for annoying, but, im making a roblox game with inverted fate: everything is (not) fine as upgrade , and i need the theme! is there any id..? or any way to upload it,
My main stipulations with IF AUs are that I don't want IF combined with Underswap, Axetale, Dusttale (or other Dust AUs), or Altertale. ...or any AU that makes Undyne straight or has Frans (or similar pairs) or Chasriel, basically. AU crossovers where IF characters meet characters from other AUs (e.g. IF Sans meeting Swap Sans) are fine, though I ask that people try to be faithful to IF's characterization when doing so. I say this all knowing that I can't really control what people do in that regard- it's just a request.
@@gootan6175 Ah, in that case, that's probably fine- just make sure to give credit to me for IF and to Voltra for Storyshift (also if you're basing it on Storyshift itself, it might help to link to the source material, which is: ut-storyshift.tumblr.com/story) I also wanna stress- Storyshift is an AU with a concrete canon and lore that's oft overlooked. For instance, MTT isn't human, personalities never swapped, etc, etc.
Ah, yes, "Ultimatum" for IF and "Ultimatum" for Undertale Last Breath: Renewed, that's weird kinda that there are 2 Undertale-related songs existing with the same name, but ok.

Well, this music would fit perfectly with Sans fighting Frisk because he knows there's nothing he can do. Frisk will keep using determination to come back until they finally kill him, it's a matter of time.
@@NMCKE eh, at the same time i think it wouldn't work because of how the motifs link into the inverted fate storyline. parts like spear of justice and dating start would make no sense in a UT geno fight, even if we ignored the desire to distance IF from geno. similar to why lazybones -- or any other IF track -- wouldn't make sense in a swap au.
@@NMCKE the song that plays in Losing Hope is perfect for the scenario. This would be awful in losing hope
This is definitely me when
based
god i love the 1:24 - 1:58 bit
This is the last thing I have keeping me sane, everything else is lost
I now have proof that there is no way to get sick of this song.
Nothing new to me
I would like to see the hotland theme extended or maybe dohj’s theme (not warhounds wrath I know you already uploaded that to yt) or maybe captains conflict
Honestly, I feel bad for the kid (Frisk). They accidentally had caused Undyne to melt, leading to Mettaton showing up, and then him becoming an amalgam with Undyne. To be honest, I feel their pain. (Real talk: My grandmother fell to the COVID virus and now I’m all just sad and depressed.)
Cool music i love that theme and if remember me i took the video down sorry again
inverted fate?
why i never know about this Au?
You can read it here: invertedfate.com/chapters
oh ok
idk, but it deserves all the love it gets, maybe even more
@@TheEmeraldCreeper agreed
Heya can you upload the music from inverted fate undynes lab ?
yesss
@@puzzledtoby i know right thats one of my favoritte tracks from inverted fate
9000 views! SO close!
And this is the moment I knew, that this story is better than Undertale's, at least in my opinion.
It's like everything is a burning memory...
Not sorry.
YOUR EXISTENCE IS A CRIME
(sarcasm)
Technically, since sans and frisk are our opponents here, we’re actually papyrus
Well, "we" don't exist in IF's canon story. So Papyrus is Papyrus. xD The player only "exists" in the playable versions of IF chapters, where the player is essentially inserted into a story that does not have one normally and characters acknowledge when they're made to do things they normally wouldn't.
But I mean, we’re the ones listening to this, so TECHNICALLY papyrus is both papyrus and the player in this ost
@@viraenthusiast It's just a music video. xD Idk if you're familiar with the actual story of the AU or not, but Papyrus is in charge of his own actions in the IF canon, same as Frisk. invertedfate.com/chapters
@@Dorked oh no I know, I’ve consumed literally every form of if content i can find
@@viraenthusiast Oh, my bad, haha. It can just be hard to tell sometimes, since sometimes just stumble on the videos w/o contest.
Imagine if Inverted fate met undertale
They already met fragments of the original timeline in the form of memory heads.
@@Turbulation1 oh right... I forgot that the characters are still themselves and that if they met with their OG selves it wouldn't change much
@@cool4nikola124 UT Undyne and IF Undyne would make a strong duo

Oh, no. It's on YT now.
What's next after bonus 8?
The closest thing in this AU to megalovania
IT'S NOT MEGALOVANIA THO NO ONE GET THAT IDEA
There is megalovania in this song (especially at the beginning), that's all the song just uses other motifs.
Amazing! Can you upload Undyne mecha but no mecha theme?
-"Defient to your end" that's the song

i really like the theme, gives me the feeling of something sad happening
got a question tho
sorry for annoying, but, im making a roblox game with inverted fate: everything is (not) fine as upgrade , and i need the theme! is there any id..? or any way to upload it,
hey Dorked why in IF Mettaton does actually pay attention to Napstablook and Mew Mew instead of leaving them behind like in normal Undertale?
It's explained in the comic (Chapter 53).
@@Dorked oh okay I forgot lol, also how many time would take me to re-read the comic? I think I need to do that
@@xoduty1424 it would take you at least 3 to 6 days
@@Lividowly I aready rewatched the comic

why do I hear Lifelight motif???
It's probably coincidental. I didn't use that motif in this song.
Can AU's of Inverted Fate br a thing or do you want jist Inveryed Fate to exist and if so please Copyright it or something
You cant just swap it or anything, inspiration is okay as i know
@@personperson8712 so I wanted to make a Shifted Fate but same concept as IF. Everyone Keeps their personalities
@@Dorked It is just your concept but with StoryShift characters. And I will credit you
@@gootan6175 Ah, in that case, that's probably fine- just make sure to give credit to me for IF and to Voltra for Storyshift (also if you're basing it on Storyshift itself, it might help to link to the source material, which is: ut-storyshift.tumblr.com/story) I also wanna stress- Storyshift is an AU with a concrete canon and lore that's oft overlooked. For instance, MTT isn't human, personalities never swapped, etc, etc.
basically frisk and papyrus but frisk and papyrus vs sans and frisk
All jokes aside tho great job!
Whats happening in this song pls some one explain
I recommend reading the comic for context. It can be found at invertedfate.com/chapters

Nice animation but I remake/my version of some video thumbnail of yours, do you want to see it? Or working on something.

Ah, yes, "Ultimatum" for IF and "Ultimatum" for Undertale Last Breath: Renewed, that's weird kinda that there are 2 Undertale-related songs existing with the same name, but ok.
You forgot stretch's Dusttale Snowdin encounter is called ultimatum too
@@NightmareArbuser yeah, forgot about that one too
when is the new chapter coming?
A new chapter just released on Friday. Please be patient.
@@Dorked oh, im sorry i didn't check the website. the chapter is really good.
So this is basically tears in the rain (Undertale neutral run sans fight) but with different motives and not edgy.
It's not really a Sans fight, though. Sans is _there_, but he's not the focus. It makes more sense in context, and for that I recommend checking out the full story if you haven't (it's at invertedfate.com/chapters).
@@Dorked I don't know English dude, I use translation to talk to you, so it's impossible for me to read the comic. Is there a Turkish translation?
By the way, Dorked, there is a song for Papyrus that's called "Why?" Isn't that for (Possible) Genocide?
That song is noncanon and not part of anything official to Inverted Fate. IF has no genocide run.

I think this will also play in the (maybe) genocide route, if papyrus faces you in the judgement hall and tries to convince you to change.
No geno route in IF. :o
@@Dorked Aww, I was looking forward to that.
@@superepicman189 I feel like IF has enough going in its main story that it just doesn't need it. With how out of character it'd be, I just don't like the idea of it, especially when so many other AUs only focus on geno stuff.
the genocide route is dumb in this, since theres no player, it'd be out of character.
