Thanks for doing these comparison studies and posting your results. It so much better than the meaningless numbers we get from a lot of companies to actually see pictures with full disclosures.

Hey Dez, I was very surprised by these results. I was honestly thinking the more toned appearance to my jaw and cheek area was due to the fact that I lost some weight, but when I went back and checked my weight loss app, I’ve actually gained 3 pounds. I am really surprised by these results.😱… especially given the lack of evidence around this modality, I really wasn’t expecting much of anything. Perhaps some temporary lymph drainage … massage is of course always feels amazing. I love that aspect of microcurrent, but you can get that with a Gua Sha. I do think somethings going on here, even if it’s a little difficult to explain scientifically. Rushing off to watch your recent make up review. Hope you’re having a lovely day. XOXO.

I forgot how old you said you were but I am 60 and at this point it’s more about not getting worse. I use microcurrent every third day only and I’ve been doing this for about a year and a half now and I am stunned at how my face looks recontoured. Sadly, I did not take before and after pictures because of confidence issues. But if I haven’t used it for even just a week I notice. It also does something to the skin tone, probably because of the ADP and the increased collagen elastin potential. I also wanted to mention that I had a NuFace Mini that died after about thirteen months (so just past the warranty) and I called the company to see if I could get a discount on a new one, and they sent me a replacement! I did determine that mine had an existing defect, and they agreed but they were very communicative and reasonable I don’t know if they would do this for everyone but I think they might at least give a discount. Plus there’s a new NuFace mini out that has an app and also the nano current!!!

@@beyond50skin Yes, please feel free to do so. They are here in So CA, and I was able to leave a message and a rep returned my call. I did have the original box still (always keep these for serial #s, etc.), and I believe I sent them my old unit back. But it was worth the trouble to get a new one, and I've had this one since the beginning of the pandemic or thereabouts (so it has lasted 3 years!). I'm going to purchase the new mini with the nano current next time I find it on sale.

Hey Maggie, so glad you’re finding this series helpful. I full heartedly agree with your approach… trying one device at a time is a great way to really see what is making a difference (if anything). Deciding which one to try depends on your primary goal. Redness & fine lines (I say go for red light), a little definition & subtle brow lift (micro current) softening one targeted area like marionettes
or crows feet maybe give the NIRA a go. Can’t wait to see what you decide on 💜💕💜

I thought about doing just red light then MC but was a bit daunted by the two year commitment lol. Also, I honestly was not expecting any line smoothing from MC as it’s primarily understood to give temporary definition and subtle lift and that’s all I was expecting.
My goal for using the LED was definitely fine lines, anti inflammatory, better tone/pigment because the research is pretty decent around these results.
But since they both target ATP production I guess there’s no way to use both and truly discern which modality is having the most impact on my lines. 🤷🏼♀️ But I’ll take it Lol 😂 Have an amazing day and thanks so much for watching and commenting💜

I wish I could say I see a difference, but I really don't. That being said, I also own a Nebulyft, Myolift Mini and Ziip. The one thing that is consistent is the cost of gels for these products. I have investigated several and I just don't think we are going to get anywhere without plastic surgery. I am currently looking at the Skeen Patch, but it is really pricey. I do Botox about every 4 months and that also is expensive. Darn!
You are so right the slight benefits are so subtle. As time marches on I am planning to keep plastic surgery on the table. I’m thinking about going a consult with Dr Amir Karam in San Diego. So pricey as you mention. I’ve started saving!! 💕💜💕

Can microcurrent cause fat loss? I am in my 20s and my face is starting to look gaunt after using it on and off. Or could it be muscle fatigue I am not sure how to tell the difference
Hi, thank you for your question. It’s a concern I’ve heard a lot recently. From what I’ve read, from my training & from what I’ve heard dermatologist explain, microcurrent, for use in the home setting, cannot penetrate to the level of the adipose tissue. Additionally, Microcurrent doesn’t have the heat capacity to damage fat cells . One caution I don’t think has been explained well enough is that one should not feel muscle contraction during Microcurrent use. You might feel a little tug now and again but not repetitive full muscle contraction. This fatigues the muscle and is counterproductive to regenerative cell health. If you follow Claudia Glows she has a video on this topic & an interview with a microcurrent specialist that explains this topic well. Thanks again for watching & commenting.💜
I've been using a mini for 6wks and lines around mouth and nose haven't lifted any, and my jawline was fine. I don't know if I'll see any difference in the marionette lines but I'll give it longer.
May I ask which mini you’re using? I personally would say there’s nothing at this point that’s going to lift my Mariette lines or the little pouches of jowling thats started, but my microcrrent device definitely lift my brow area slightly in the morning and gives my skin a glow it makes my jawline look so much better. For me it’s really subtle but worth the time of a four minute treatment, which is my usual go to. at the moment, I’m doing the ZIIP #30dayglowup challenge.. we will see :)
@@beyond50skin I just bought it, not the newest but it came with nuface fix. I concentrate on the marionette lines and pull up and under cheekbones. I do notice a slight difference around eyes but not 11s of course, for me too deep. Even though the current is less, the fix seems to give temp fix to crows feet and I see if I smile a difference. I have a little sagging so to speak with deeper than I'd like marionette lines but not jaw. I will keep using but I feel it is geared from the many ads/models etc to younger women to help maintain and works better on younger muscles.
