Thanks for a great video. I started using Nuface and enjoyed the results but it died shortly after a year…so couldn’t use warranty. I was really disappointed. Then discovered Foreo Bear- I love it so much more than Nuface. The pulsing action helps with lymphatic drainage and I get a much better glow and lift. It’s faster to use and just more fun. I also use Nira and red light therapy…all 3 have helped to keep me looking fresh-but you have to be consistent. I use each 4x a week without fail.
This issue with the NUFACE is very irritating. It seems much too common for a device that so expensive. I'm excited to hear you love the BEAR. I have been chatting with FOREO so hopefully will be able to review and have a discount for the group soon. Thank you for sharing your device routine. I am excited to be reviewing LED Red light therapy this weekend and should have my NIRA video up in a week or so. So glad to have you as part of the B50S community. Thanks for this video and for being honest about the studies. I bought my Nuface about 2 years ago and used it consistanthly for months, but I couldn't see any benefits at all, so I stoped using it. Then I watched a Dr.Dray's video about how this devices have no scientific evidence to suppont what they claim to do, so I thought I've had waisted my money 🤷♀
Thanks for watching & that is a very good question! Are these a waste? I will give my final answer after 12 mos. But I’m really disappointed that the companies who make so much money off these products aren’t doing valid high powered research studies on the benefits and effectiveness of these pricy microcurrent devices. I do see a subtle slight lift after using my microcurrent devices; but the results last hours not days. I’m not convinced yet of the long-term benefits.
@@beyond50skin I will definitely wait for your review, but I have to say that my mom has been using foreo Bear and I can tell the difference.. There seems to be a difference in quality/research that companies do..

Hello, and thank you for the feedback. I am a fast talker and always have been. I will do my best to pace myself more evenly. Until I then you may adjust the speed of my video by selecting the gear icon "⚙" at the bottom of the video, tap "play back speed" and choose to slow it down (.75). For the tables / charts you can pause the video " || " / take screen shots. I also try to link tables in the description when possible and to post them in my community posts. (I did post the microcurrent table in the community tab several weeks ago). Hope these tips helps in the mean time as I learn to pace myself🤞. Part of my reason for starting a YT channel was to improve my communication skills ,so your feedback is much appreciated. Wishing you a lovely day💜

Hello..i began watching your video a few months ago..i enjoyed your review of products etc..i just wanted to make a quick comment..about 25 years ago my hubby create alittle gadget like the microcurrent..and it cosr him $10 to make...it funny after so many years ..i see gadgets like the one i am using but mine ilooks different ..lol....people would ask me what i was doing as the gadget gave my face a nice lift...i still use ito today.

I used Nuface then those prongs, forget what they’re called, miyo something, and started serious skincare routine same time frame, saw significant difference, but then stopped using the prongs, just too time consuming … but truly didn’t notice a difference when I stopped. So idk 🤷🏻♀️ either way, don’t have the time lol
These devices are definitely time consuming. I do think the meyolift has a bit higher mA than the NuFace. But as far as long term results the jury is still out for me. Thanks for sharing your microcurrent journey. I know it will help others 😊 with their decision about wether this is a modality they want to try. 💜

Hi, I appreciate your question. I hesitate to recommend one over another on the basis of effectiveness until I’m closer to my 12 mo. review. But I’d like to answer your question as best I can. If I could only choose one, I would choose the device
1. according to skin concern (redness, definition, fine lines, dark spots etc.)
2. the one you will use according to the recommendations. These devices require consistency over many months..Choosing one you enjoying using isn’t a small consideration. Wishing all the best💜I hope to have a better answer for you in 9 months:)

Ok, results really are visible, but I was checking out reviews and videos on foreo Bear and I love that it is safe to use, but also effective. My skin is showing signs of aging and I need to act now. So - the Bear?
I actually don’t have the BEAR yet. I’m chatting with FOREO, so I’m hoping to do a review of the Bear at my 6 no check in. I think any microcurrent gives a very slight, very subtle, temporary result. I don’t necessarily think it has to be the ZIIP or NuF. I had less, but definitely slightly visible results with the NuF mini. Benefits of the bear: are it’s waterproof, 5 intensities, anti-shock (not quite sure how this is different but it’s a call out) short 3 min treatment, sonic vibe (also in ZIIP), an app. I literally just got a discount code from FOREO for 19% off. In your immediate before and after, I could really see how lifted your eyes looked! Excellent video as always! I’m a fan of microcurrent even though I’m doubtful of *drastic* results. My experience is anecdotal but what I notice with regular use is that my skin looks healthier, and seems to respond better to my skincare. I have a healthier glow with regular use as well. I bought the NuFace Trinity but mostly use the regular ball attachment and skip the lip/eye enhancer. I think NuFace released a new version in August and I’m curious to know what the improvements are. Hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Great video, well-researched and objective. I don't own any devices and I'm rather wary of microcurrent anyway! I feel I have enough electricity going on in my head as it is😆. I've seen a lot of videos showing it and I can't say I've seen anything that convinces me it's worth it. By the way, I love the colour of your lipstick, it's so pretty.

I wonder if yiu can buy two of these and use on both sides of the face simultaneously? Making it one side after the other seems like waste of time and also this way ot is hard to achieve equal workout for each side. Any thought on this?
Hi, I’ve never consider this, but that’s quite a clever thought. Actually, now that you brought it up @claudiaglows did a video on Microcurrent devices, you can attach to your face, but it would only simultaneously work out one area at a time, cheek brow, etc.They actually attached to your face. I’ve never used them.
When we were in clinic practicing, sometimes we would use the microcurrent wands on both sides of the face simultaneously… so the concept is sound. Let me know what you decide to do. I may try my FOREO Bear on one side of my face and my ZIIP on the other. I’m still working on the warranty request for my NUFACE. I used also as per instruction for yr. Nothing. They refused refund, I was very upset. Can't even sell the darn thing. Jowls I got no help. AT ALL.
That sounds extremely disappointing. You are correct microcurrent wont improve sagging jowls.

I'm afraid to use micro-current due to possible fat loss. The current can dissipate fat deposits in your face and as you know, this is one of the main causes for sagging, more so than muscle laxity! I'm not playing with fire just like I won't be dealing with growth factors until more studies come out.
You know a subscriber just reminded me that some people get similar results with a Gua sha. Maybe give that a try?💜
@@beyond50skin Yes, I use a Gua Sha and it really feels good especially in my jaw. As a relaxation tool is really great and it can't hurt but when it comes to micro-current, I wouldn't risk it at least yet!
I thought radio frequency was the device they caused fat loss rather than microcurrent. I'm getting confused.
@@jaspersky412 Yes, you are correct. I have not heard of microcurrent causing fat loss. But I do not encourage people to use a device If they are fearful. I feel they should discuss these concerns with a medical provider as they may have a health situation I’m not aware of. I try also to offer a solution that will address their skincare issues (ie Gua sha) that also avoids fear & concerns. I hope this makes sence and you are less confused.
It's not high enough current for fat loss. Don't believe the misinformation. I've been using one for years.
i hate nuface had it kept getting bad zaps and thats with moisturizer on my skin i gave it to my sister terrible waste of money on my part

Thank you for sharing. This is the most disappointed device in my arsenal. I wouldn’t recommend this technology at all. Use a Gussha you will get the same results.
You know I was wondering that! I have always been skeptical of Gua sha facials but when I was in clinic we started every facial with massage so I’m not sure where my silly bias set in. Thanks for nudging be back on track with this💜.

@@beyond50skin I have a really old machine that I bought in the late 90s and it was for doctors' offices, it has all the different waves and excellent manuals. The company seems to have gone out of business.
