I've had the privilege to see Celine perform live twice in my life, both times in Las Vegas. She was wonderfully dorky while talking to the audience on stage between songs, and you could just tell that she was being authentic. Her live voice was flawless; if it wasn't for the tiny inflections and changes she made to each song, you would have thought it was the album recording. The second time I saw her there was a bride and groom sitting in the front row, still in their gown and tux from their ceremony. When Celine noticed them after the start of the show, she went OFF with how excited she was since it wasn't a planned thing by the show runners. She had the audience cam on them and talked to them for a minute, finding out they were huge fans and had just come straight from their ceremony to see her perform. She sang a song dedicated to their marriage after that, followed by having a stage hand fetch a rose that she said was from an arrangement in her dressing room which she came down from the stage to give to the bride, along with giving them both a hug. They were in TEARS. It was such a lovely addition to the show, and a testament to what a wonderful person Celine is to her fans.💜
The saddest part of all of this is that you can see her trying and suffering. No one deserves to go through this. Especially her. She feels like a family member who is sick and we’re all watching as she’s in pain
Her comeback to preform on stage will be the most epic in music history EVER. It’s not that Celine owes anything to anyone, but if (and when) she returns, it will be the most celebrated and wholesome moment, not just for her fans but for the whole music world. I wish everyone would just stop talking about her return to stage. Celine is not well and with this disease any stimulation can cause a spell. Touch, lights, excitement, stress the list is long. I just wonder if the song who I am might be one of the new ones she uses in the future show. I just wish she would’ve sang it by herself, instead of having the original singer new song as well. It seems like she was round out a bit Celine, that is. Nobody, not even stiff person syndrome, should drown that voice. Instead of my heart go on, it should be my voice will go on and on. This documentary made me cry so much. I was not expecting that. I’ve loved her and her music since the beginning. She is an icon. It’s so heartbreaking to watch her go through this.
I became upset about Celine while watching the documentary. When she had that seizure, I became hysterical. I thought Celine was dying. Her color got very bad, and she looked like she had rigor mortis. Celine looked petrified and couldn't move. Oh good God!😢
I remember the media saying she was “weird”, “had an eating disorder”, etc. Have you all apologized to her? Because the people that printed those stories should be ashamed! She’s always been a class act to people.
Yes. A very sweet woman. Weird .?no. She got a great sense of humor. Very kind. She’s French Canadian so has the accent. Anyone who meets her can see what a kind person she is. Eating disorder. This sickness and losing her husband. I’m glad she has 3 sons there for her. Her parents raised her right.
I watched "I Am" twice and cried both times. It was very emotional. I believe if every person that watches this documentary, would begin to pray for this beautiful Soul. It would be the most productive action we could do for her 🙏 Blessing to you all❣️

Unsure of the future and losing your ability bit by bit, it sure can be a dark and lonely place to be in… Frankly, she is one of the bravest and strongest moms out there, and to bring the awareness of her illness SPS. The documentary is poignant, brave, inspirational and hopeful. You can see how gracious and humble a person Celine is. She is also a cool mom. And Celine speaks with wisdom. The ending scene where she suffered a major seizure is harrowing and hard to watch. The docu made me love Celine even more. She is one of the most resilient celebrities and she is one of a kind! And I can say, I'm lucky to say that I have been born in a lifetime where a CELINE DION existed.
Seeing her in distress with her body broke my heart! I started to cry seeing her in so much pain! Loved seeing how kind she was to the people that work for her! ❤ And her boys are so polite too!

This was such a powerful documentary, although it was not easy to watch. I felt Celine's suffering so strongly, and she was so honest in what she revealed. Watching this documentary proves that Celine is a true entertainer and not just some ego obsessed Diva. She truly cares about her fans.
When that time comes and she is no longer with us, she will leave behind her extraordinarily beautiful recorded music. But the most important is she will be an inspiration to those with debilitating incurable disease. Her resilience, perseverance and strength of character is unbelievable. My grandmother had 18 children but only 14 made it to adulthood. She lived to age 87! None of them became famous but some had great Irish humour and I loved the times we were together. It’s wonderful that Celine has so much family support, especially from her sons. It’s also humbling to see that many of us have little to complain about. Yes, she has all the money in the world to see the best specialists and to have as many staff on hand to help her through this difficult time, but being human means having empathy for the suffering of others no matter how rich or poor they may be. Her music brought much happiness to my late wife and I.

I watched the clip of Celine having that episode and it was incredibly difficult to get through. It felt like such an invasion of privacy - even though I know Celine wanted us to see it.
As much as we can sympathise, and a few can empathise on Celine’s plight, to say that she Will return to the stage is just our hopeful selfishness. Celine has already been a determined woman and gave 200% in her performances. If she says she will return to sing again she most likely will, however, if we truly love Celine we shouldn’t place any expectations on her to do so. She has done and given enough, whatever happens from now on as far as performances go, is a bonus and something to treasure. Thank God for Celine and sending his Angel to walk this earth and grace us with his presence through her. Celine is more than enough, anything else has been a bonus and a gift from God. Celine, you don’t have to prove anything else to your fans. We love you no matter what!💜 As a perfectionist I know you are determined to sing again, for the lack of that is like losing every limb, though do it for yourself, your fans will stick by you regardless if you return to singing or not. I can't say that I'm a huge fan but I do respect her. That being said, I certainly wish her nothing but the best and I hope that she continues to have all the support she needs as this condition progresses. I can't begin to imagine the struggles she's facing but she seems to be handling it with a grace that few possess.
Although I liked quite a few of Celine's songs, I wasn't really into her music. However, I've always had the utmost respect for her as a performer and a human. The woman is amazing and another of Canada's finest treasures! As devastating as Celine's diagnosis is to her, her loved ones, and her legions of fans, if there's any good that is to be found, it would be to bring SPS to the forefront so it cand be researched in the hopes of learning more about this illness. To think that it took 17 years to properly diagnose Celine is sad but I guess its rarity makes it understandable. Thanks to Celine's strength and courage to be open and honest about it, hopefully it won't take 17 years for SPS's next victim to be diagnosed. Maybe if it's caught early, it could be brought under control before it's too late. Thank you, great lady! You are special! ❤ ⚘️

But she is an inspiration. i feel sometime to give up to fight but she had so much courage and fight even if she has to crawl. She has risen from the ash like a phoenix. I have autoimmune thyroid disease which is a gateway to other autoimmune diseases.

The saddest part of all of this is that you can see her trying and suffering. No one deserves to go through this. Especially her. She feels like a family member who is sick and we’re all watching as she’s in pain
No worries she had a miraculous recovery and all of a sudden can perform
again .
Her comeback to preform on stage will be the most epic in music history EVER. It’s not that Celine owes anything to anyone, but if (and when) she returns, it will be the most celebrated and wholesome moment, not just for her fans but for the whole music world.

This documentary made me cry so much. I was not expecting that. I’ve loved her and her music since the beginning. She is an icon. It’s so heartbreaking to watch her go through this.
I became upset about Celine while watching the documentary. When she had that seizure, I became hysterical. I thought Celine was dying. Her color got very bad, and she looked like she had rigor mortis. Celine looked petrified and couldn't move. Oh good God!😢
I remember the media saying she was “weird”, “had an eating disorder”, etc. Have you all apologized to her? Because the people that printed those stories should be ashamed! She’s always been a class act to people.

Unsure of the future and losing your ability bit by bit, it sure can be a dark and lonely place to be in… Frankly, she is one of the bravest and strongest moms out there, and to bring the awareness of her illness SPS. The documentary is poignant, brave, inspirational and hopeful. You can see how gracious and humble a person Celine is. She is also a cool mom. And Celine speaks with wisdom. The ending scene where she suffered a major seizure is harrowing and hard to watch. The docu made me love Celine even more. She is one of the most resilient celebrities and she is one of a kind! And I can say, I'm lucky to say that I have been born in a lifetime where a CELINE DION existed.

I have to correct you. She is arguably the world’s greatest singer/artist. She’s a class act.
This was such a powerful documentary, although it was not easy to watch. I felt Celine's suffering so strongly, and she was so honest in what she revealed. Watching this documentary proves that Celine is a true entertainer and not just some ego obsessed Diva. She truly cares about her fans.
When that time comes and she is no longer with us, she will leave behind her extraordinarily beautiful recorded music.
But the most important is she will be an inspiration to those with debilitating incurable disease. Her resilience, perseverance and strength of character is unbelievable.
I hope that documentary will be shown here in Philippines. We love Celine Dion ❤

My grandmother had 18 children but only 14 made it to adulthood. She lived to age 87! None of them became famous but some had great Irish humour and I loved the times we were together.
It’s wonderful that Celine has so much family support, especially from her sons. It’s also humbling to see that many of us have little to complain about. Yes, she has all the money in the world to see the best specialists and to have as many staff on hand to help her through this difficult time, but being human means having empathy for the suffering of others no matter how rich or poor they may be. Her music brought much happiness to my late wife and I.

As much as we can sympathise, and a few can empathise on Celine’s plight, to say that she Will
return to the stage is just our hopeful selfishness. Celine has already been a determined woman and gave 200% in her performances. If she says she will return to sing again she most likely will, however, if we truly love Celine we shouldn’t place any expectations on her to do so. She has done and given enough, whatever happens from now on as far as performances go, is a bonus and something to treasure. Thank God for Celine and sending his Angel to walk this earth and grace us with his presence through her. Celine is more than enough, anything else has been a bonus and a gift from God. Celine, you don’t have to prove anything else to your fans. We love you no matter what!💜

Although I liked quite a few of Celine's songs, I wasn't really into her music. However, I've always had the utmost respect for her as a performer and a human. The woman is amazing and another of Canada's finest treasures! As devastating as Celine's diagnosis is to her, her loved ones, and her legions of fans, if there's any good that is to be found, it would be to bring SPS to the forefront so it cand be researched in the hopes of learning more about this illness. To think that it took 17 years to properly diagnose Celine is sad but I guess its rarity makes it understandable. Thanks to Celine's strength and courage to be open and honest about it, hopefully it won't take 17 years for SPS's next victim to be diagnosed. Maybe if it's caught early, it could be brought under control before it's too late. Thank you, great lady! You are special! ❤ ⚘️

i m suffering of a type of autoimmune disease which gives me lot of pain and limits me to do many things. When I see Celine Dion fighting as she does, I fell for her. I know her pain. But she is an inspiration. i feel sometime to give up to fight but she had so much courage and fight even if she has to crawl. She has risen from the ash like a phoenix. Seeing her singing on the Olympic ceremony was so amazing. Her voice was so beautiful and so powerful. Bravo! Celine Dion you are Amazing!
