Exactly. What was called the Max is now this - the 2. The thinner one, the Tempo, ceases to exist. The new one that will be called the Max 2 is a brand new super trainer intended to compete with NB SC Trainer, adidas Boston, and Saucony ES.
No! It won't be the same. It's not going to have the rigid rocker tech the Max has. It's going to have traditional geometry like its predecessor relying on its flexibility to propell you forward, but now with a higher stack so less ground feel. The toe area looks more curved, so you can call that a toe rocker, which is always a good thing. Think Topo Cyclone 2. Not sure I'm going to like the the higher stack Max 2 because I like the ground feel the org. Max offers.
I have the Brooks Ghost 15, Glycerin 20 and Hyperion Max…. So happy with them all but what I am really looking forward is the Hyperion 2024 line up… new foams, increased stack high… all in an insane lightweight package. For me the 2024 Brooks Hyperion line up looks a serious upgrade in performance! Bring it on!
@@tadejdanev5030 it is very lightweight and responsive so perfect for series and speed workouts. I have also run a 10K and you could easily compete in them. I’d recommend them
Really excited for this release as I get along well with the Hyperion Tempo. And a non plated option with a slightly higher stack sounds appealing. I hope the price isn't too expensive in Australia.
Hey Alex … happy new year lol … I’ve the Hyperion Max … I LOVE this shoe… my new daily shoes … light fast confortable .. lacing system is good … the DNA foam is really good … I love that kind of ground sensation instead of the too squishy shoes that we all time have on the market these last years…. Great great shoe and I’m gonna provably buy a second pair lol😂🎉🤣🥳👏👏👏🇫🇷
Like everyone is noticing, it looks like the Hyperion Max. I'm very curious about what the DNA Flash v2 feels like under foot. I think Brooks is making big strides this year (pardon the pun).
While I understand that a lot of people are wanting higher stack shoes, it’s sad to see the running scene go in the direction of everything getting more & more stack. The Hyperion/Hyperion Tempo was somewhat of an old school do it all shoe that was low stack like the Boston 9. This is basically what the Hyperion Max 1 was at this point
Very nice shoe! Quick question please. How can the Hyperion Max have bigger stack high from the Hyperion 2? At your videos both times he mentioned that both shoes have 36 mm stack high. Can you please explain?
I hope I can see your review of this shoe. Sir can you give advice on what shoe to go for that has supination? affordable ofcourse and preferably a gen before than this 1
36mm is way to high that’s ridiculous how is that a speed day shoe… like the Hyperion was great as a racing flat something that no one really makes anymore and to take that away and just go make an other Hyperion max is just silly..
this looks more like the hyperion max of last year, with lighter weight! Very interesting😮
Hope it is comfortable enough for full marathon distance.
I have that version and it’s superb 👌 so more stack and lighter 🤤
Bingo, basically a new Hyperion Max! Exactly what I was hoping for

And cheaper
I think the Hyperion Tempo doesnt cease, its just called "Hyperion" now With some minor Updates.

I think the Hyperion Max just became the Hyperion 2. The Hyperion Max 2 is its own thing now.

Looks fantastic, but im a bit sad the low stack alternative is disappearing
Looks like the successor to the Hyperion Max. Looks good 👍🏼 🔥

New Hyperion Max 🎉🎉🎉

if you had to run a marathon in a Adidas ultra Boost 19 or The Hyperion 2 which would you choose?
Hmmm. Rubber under.mid foot.looks lacking in coverage. I wonder if the GTS variant comes with more here. No such issue on.the current Hyperion.
Probably the shoe of the year!
Other than the Nike AF 3...
which is 300€?@@jimoconnor8597

that's fire
I’m a big fan of faster lighter daily trainers. With a bigger stack height if this shoe is comfortable it’ll be very popular.
Do you know if these will be coming in a wide fitting as well or just the regular fit?
Also in a GTS version? Thanks
exciting 👀
Hyperion 2 seems like Hyperion Max 1.5
That 's a nice shoe
They should make the shoe with less foam
GTS?
Yes, there will be
A stability Hyperion? Hell yeah! I hope so!
@@QronoZ713 confirmed info?
maybe msrp 150€ is quite a lot
150 Euros is too much for it.
Dommage que leur mousse sont trop rigide à mon goût.

Disappointing. Hyperon Tempo was a standout shoe - one of the last great low stack shoes. Now, Brooks is just following the crowd.
