    Perfect! I think that's what I'll do.

Hello, sir great that you showed conversion for this model as many don’t tell, you which version of crv or how to,remove seats. Thank you. If I wanted the platform higher from stress point perspective would this build still work in its simplicity? I am assuming you can sit up,very comfortably though with platform this low? Thank you from Australia 👍

Yes I can sit up very comfortably, to raise up the platform a frame would need to be built, more extensive build but easily doable!

Hi there, thanks for the video. The measurement of each piece is a little bit unclear, could you post that? Thanks!!

Hello, thanks for sharing your build.
    I'm 6'1"
Is there enough room for me to sleep with the rear hatch closed?

Yes if you build the bed frame a few inches longer and yes there's room to do that.

Do you realise you can fold down front seats and fold back rear seats to make a comfortable bed. It don't lay flat but good enough to sleep on. plus it works both sides.

I slept in the CR-V one night with the rear seat folded all the way up and front passenger seat forward and I could not stretch out and SWORE I'd never do that again, that's the very reason I built this platform.

@@marcbee1234 you mean put the front seats all the way up to the dash, then remove the headrests, then put the back of the front seat all the way down so it meets the seat of the back seats, then recline the back of the back seats? that didnt work for you? thanks for the great video.

@@KibatsuMusic The back portion of the rear seat, the part you rest your back on in the seating position does NOT recline into a sleeping position. It sounded like a great idea but unfortunately Honda did not build the rear seat with camping in mind. I'm happy with the system I built, I can stretch out and with 5 inches of foam padding it's 'extremely' comfortable.

I don't get it... So the length of the bed from back to front is 35" + 11" For real? So you are 4 feet tall I need at least 68" 5'10".. bed isn't long enough dude
