You're not old. We bought a 211 acre run down farm and rebuilt all the fences plus added cross fences and remodeled two houses and built an apartment in the shop when we were in our 50's. Just keep going and you will be amazed at what you can get done.

Unfortunate lesson. There are bad people everywhere. When you live rural you have to stay home and you have to defend your property. People are jealous and greedy. They want to take what you have because they won't work to get the same. Lesson learned. Do not be discouraged and regroup and go back out and fight to achieve your goals and dreams.

I bought a abandoned cabin in Arkansas 12 years ago, had door kicked in while I was gone. Only had place for 3 days.Its always tweakers who do this, havent had any issues since. Im going to shout you out on my community page and get you some more subscribers. Hang in there!

I am sorry that happen to you. We had my old farm illegally taken from us and then we got ripped off as we were moving out. We were raising our 5 kids at the time. It took us 2 years to find another home with land that we could afford. Almost everything we had on the farm was gone and we had to start over. We were scammed out our tractor and some implements due to trusting someone my wife worked with. Those were bad times but we worked though them. Never give up your dreams.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine. They found the guy and he is in prison. Tough break but you will get through it.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Most likely it is someone close to you (neighbor or someone close enough).....they don't want you guys as neighbors and probably don't work. Cops are useless on these types of crimes.
It was random. There were several people around us that were robbed at the same time. Just one of those robberies of opportunity. Thanks for watching we really appreciate it

@SLK0000 they robbed 4 of our neighbors the same week. I actually caught them trying to rob our nearest neighbor a couple days later but was unable to follow them after they seen me. They took off. I called the sheriff but that was just a waste of time.

To bad you didn't get a video of the truck with your stuff and maybe a license plate, that's terrible someone stolen from you both. Maybe when you build your tiny home keep in mind that later maybe that could be a airbnb and a money maker for you 😏. I live on only ten acres and that is my plan for income.
We actually got pics of the truck and gave them to the cops but they didn’t do anything. We’ll talk about an Airbnb. Thank you for the idea
Trail cams are cheap. 5G connected to your cell phone for instant pictures. Fake and real video cameras. Security lights. Driveway alarms. Barbwire fencing. 12ga w/00 buck. Vary your time leaving and coming home. Dark tinted windows on vehicles so thugs don’t know who has left. Mannequin in passenger side, while Dodge stays home with the 12 ga. I can guarantee you it will make them think twice. We’ve only had one instance where they got to look down the barrel for cleanliness. They never came back, so must not have liked what they saw. No problems.
We haven’t had a problem since because they know he is here and all our animals but this was when we first moved here. The took the security we had up.

It was most likely locals who had been watching you and your movements. Until you findout who it is you'll never trust anyone. Could even be related to the local cops.🤔
Well we know it was more than one and they hit multiple people at the same time in a span of a week. We don’t trust anyone really but we’re still here and we’re making it work
