Great game with no issues on PS4. Best Lego game so far in my opinion.
I guess you've been lucky to not get any issues on PS4. I've had some black screens and white screens when travelling to planets and the game just freezing on certain interactions. Do you play on the regular PS4 or the Pro version?
For me on switch it runs perfectly

Same here on both PS4 and PS5. Easily the best LEGO game.
Honestly episode 1 is the worst episode I’ve played so far. It feels very passive but as soon as you enter the other episodes it improves vastly
I thought Episode 1 was really fun but I’ve only done up to Episode 2 at the minute, if it’s the weakest I’m excited to play the rest
@@Samylton yeah, when I was done with episode 1 I thought it was fun and then the first level of episode 2 kicks in and I was like “we’re just getting started”.

I think most the problems you've been having are switch exclusive, I'm playing on my xbox series x and other than a couple crashes the games been perfect, also the game gets more interesting after the phantom menace so I hope you'll have with it

id try playing again in a month or two, hopefully switch is better by then. i'm playing on ps4 and i've had next to no issue's
This, day one at most it crashed once but its an OG PS4 so overheating crash was most likely the reason, but i had no issues whatsoever as well
I’ve also had no issues or glitches with my game but then again I am playing on PS5.
On pc there are no bugs at all and the loading between hub worlds is almost nothing
There's not no bugs but for a new release there's not enough to be a serious issue
Same on Xbox One. A few bugs, but nothing that ruins it.

I heard from Scott The Woz that third party games are terrible on the Switch, but the LEGO games I've played on my Switch (Ninjago Movie, Marvel 2, DC Super Villains & LEGO Movie 2) haven't hampered my enthusiasm for them.
BTW, I got LEGO The Incredibles on my PS4 because my game collection for that system is very small & I wanted some LEGO representation for it.
It would be great if we can see some pics of the said aforementioned glitches. It may be happening at Switch only but this looks like a gripe video.
I play on a series x, Game runs perfectly, no crashes. ive only had tiny glitches like legs not working when i pick up c3p0s legs. I played the first 7 Movies with a friend and the split screen was abit weird.
Also on a 4k tv the game looks beautiful.
We have a 4K TV - but it still looks off - maybe its the switch?

Is it just me or did they make the sequels longer I did a new hope,empire strikes back, and return of the Jedi in one day same with the prequels but I did the sequels in two days and they felt longer was that just the day of the week or did they actually just make the sequels longer

Meee too. I was stoked to have the game remastered and the characters and ships brought up to date with newer sets, but that is not what we got. I won’t go so far as to call the game bad, but it just isn’t the experience I was looking for.
Honestly climbing is truly horrendous in this game. Instead of it being just jump to the grab point, you have to look at it in a certain orientation and wait for the jump or grapple prompt to appear. If you try to jump for it you either fall or in the rare chance actually grab it.
Still no worthy Opponent to Dimensions…on Wii-U

Alot of running around in the first episode with tiny short missions coverd up by flying missions seems boring does this change, is the first episode just weak
I play on switch as well and I did not enjoy how everything looked in episode I, it does gets A LOT better in later episodes however I can’t stand the fact that they weren’t even able to make the intro screen look any good because of how pixely it looks, or at least where I can see the faces of the characters on the screen. My first time playing my Game glitched and the intro cutscene was frozen for a good minute or two while the audio kept on repeating and repeating, my game crashed multiple times during a story but thankfully this game has auto save, the graphics take away a lot out of my enjoyment for this game, the cutscenes look great but the in game graphics are unbalanced, some parts look good and some look horrendous I’ve seen what other companies can do with the switches performance with games from Nintendo having some of the best graphics on the Nintendo switch, and yes TT games may not have the same amount of quality as Nintendo but the game had been delayed for a little over two years, the least they could’ve done is balanced out the graphics on switch, and with the switch being my main source of gameplay I don’t want to go out and purchase another console just to experience the beauty of this game, the gameplay itself is wonderful but the bugs, glitches, and graphics lower my thoughts on this game.

@@ZachTheManiac01 To begin with your “essay” is very contradictory as you state at the start the switches failure to run the game is negatively impacting your opinion on the game and believe it is un playable and bad, but then at the conclusion of your “essay” you state “ I love it so much! Its probably one of my most favourite games of all time” which is indeed a contradiction.
You then talk about how the switch cannot handle the game with it making most on screen elements “pixely” which makes sense as the screen is only 7 inches (roughly 18cm) on handheld mode, but I’ll just assume you play with the tv mode instead, which still doesn’t solidify your point as the switch is a handheld console that barely competes with the eight generation of consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox one) and even the 9th generation (Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5) so no wonder it is going to struggle or even fail to run games designed for those consoles.
You also compare The Skywalker Saga to Mario Kart 8, which is completely moronic as they are completely different genres of games and play extremely different. Yes Mario Kart 8 may look good and play good is because is was designed for the switch and the WII U, whereas The Skywalker Saga wasn’t. You also fail to acknowledge that Mario Kart 8 was released in 2014 and Skywalker Saga was released almost a week ago, so of course Mario Kart 8 is going to look great as it was originally intended for a early Gen 8 console which was later ported to a late Gen 8 console as a “remaster”.

I started with Phantom Menance and did not like the level design at all. Going from place to place before each level I thought was going to be cool and immersive but it feels like a chore. I got bored and started doing side quests. The climbing mechanics suck, accessing characters is a lot harder, and if you want to experience rage, play booma ball it's a glitched side quest from hell. I heard this game gets better but man it isn't looking so hot.
they say that they have 300 playable characters but most of them are variant in the game and there is only 21 Jedi not including the variants its very strange they where marketing that this game was going to have a lot of Jedi yet there is only 21. the levels are also very short and speedy through the story which I feel like they could be longer they skip key moments and make moments that are not important very long
Honestly the game shouldn't have been released on Switch. Nintendo is always so behind on power.

I’m playing the switch version, and there are a lot of bugs/graphical issues. The problem is for me is the developer optimization, which the switch can handle A lot of sections at 30fps, but TT games didn’t do a good job optimizing it
Have you considered that you’re running it on the switch and that’s why there’s problems ?
I think it has to be the best lego star wars games, however does not hit the same as complete saga has the nostalgia

You should probably play it on a different console. I don’t have any of these issues on Xbox.
The game is good there are numerous lil glitches and I did blue screen once but I am on ps4 I’m not gana hold the game against it but it is kind of wack also the character menu is always glitchy for me

I loved and adored this game. It's one of the best games that recently released and it's easily the best LEGO game.
I got the Indiana Jones game couldn't even figer out how to get across the ditch. lol. and avenger s game disc need s cleaning so dident get to play it I love the Ninjago Lego game ..I was holly play the new game and danibob in USA cool game it's like a Lego movie and game in one ...I'm Shaw it's for kids and big adult kid s lol .

While usually I would just dismiss it since the Switch is a garbage console, barely any better than a smartphone...the game has crashed on me on the Xbox One X as well so...the game clearly still has some bugs.
The jumping and climbing mechanics do suck, though.
