@@nickhiggsthesinger You didn't react to the video which I performed My Love by Westlife at school.
Excellent 👍. Beautiful baritone. I didn't know you could sang like that ! 😮
Many thanks!
Just lovely, Nick. First time I've heard you sing and I'm glad I did. Thank you very much for giving this to us all. God bless you!
Thanks so much!
This is simply and truly beautiful! The most powerful and amazing instrument is the human voice in my opinion, and you genuinely have one of the best I've ever heard!
Beautiful 🎵! Yes, would love to hear more of you singing.
More to come! Any suggestions?
The power, the emotion, the smile when you sing this absolute gem of a song is simply exquisite. I bow to you good sir! 🙌🏼
As one vocalist to another, your sound is what I aspire to. That was sublime.
Thank you so much
Excellent! Nick is also an EXCELLENT vocal teacher as well!
Thank you Keith! Such a pleasure working with you 👌🏻🎉
Broadway is looking for you, I am sure. Beautiful voice!
Wow, thank you!
BRAVOOOOOO!!
That was beautiful Nick!
This song, sung by Selah, was the final piece played at my wifes funeral 19 years ago. Regardless of who performs it, will always have a special meaning to me. Nice job young man.
Thank you very much for your kind words and for sharing your experience with this piece.
Your voice sits well in the music
Beautiful!!!
Best news ever! Make loads of compete recordings multi-voice songs. Especially baroque arias!!! This one is gorgeous too.
You look happy singing this, and as the song progresses and the key rises so does your happiness and the improvisations. Stunning, and a great mood lifter.
Thank you so much! 😊
I hope you subscribed!!
I would love to put this cover as a the sound track to a video featuring my outback Western Australian photography.
Beautiful music! Beautiful, talented lad. Thanks for posting.
Thank you ♥️
Love this song and love your voice! Hope someday I can sing so heavenly just like you!
Wow simply beautiful, so powerful so intense.
Thanks for listening
I just came from the video of you singing a bit of this and was about to demand a full cover! Love it! I'm just beginning my singing practice and this is a huge inspiration.
Beautiful fresh tone😊
You raise me up while watching you singing!!! Incredible voice!❤
You’re so sweet!! Thank you
You’re voice is extremely phenomenal. Added by your gorgeous personality, you’re complete.❤
Killed it as always, Nick! Stunning cover; so very soulful. :’)
Thanks so much! This is one of my faves 🙌🏻
Beautiful. I always watch your u tube. It’s really gorgeous interpretation. I loved it!
Thank you very much!
Quel moment de grâce ! Merci beaucoup de France ! 😀
Merci!
Beautifully sung, well done! I don’t know your range Nick, but the duet with an excellent baritone I’ve heard by the name of Nick Higgs, from The Pearlfishers would by lovely! 🌻
One of my all time favourite duets!!! Thank you for your kind words
Lovely start to my day
🇨🇦 An absolutely beautiful rendition. You have a fantastic voice!! 💜💜💜
So full of expression, bravo Nick 🤩
Thank you very much
Thank you Nick, beautiful!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Eine wirklich wunderschöne Stimme! ❤ Auf jeden Fall wäre es großartig mehr davon zu hören! Ich liebe La Boheme, vielleicht daraus etwas? 🥰 Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland
Bravo! More please❤
More to come! What should I sing next?
I love this song so much and your lovely voice did it justice. I really enjoy your vlogs.
So great! Thanks very much! Would love to hear "Loch Lomond" sung by Nick Higgs!
Great suggestion! Thank you
Thank you, such a nice baritone. Silky and sweet. Excellent job!
This is truly wonderful. The evenness of your scale, no shifting of gears as you navigate through your entire range. Your messa di voce puts you in the class of Montserrat Caballe. Your voice coupled with your looks puts you in league with Franco Corelli. You should turn to opera.
Thanks for posting, your voice is fascinating 😲
Thanks for listening
Wow, that was really beautiful.
And what I really liked about it was that the lyrics were very clear and understandable. That's not easy anyways and I have always found it to be an art of its own when singing in English. (Well, apart from my accent, that is. But anyway...)
I really loved this.
Wow, thank you so much! I always try to have clear text - it certainly is necessary for such a powerful song like this!
Wonderful! I love this song, and you did it beautifully!
Thank you so much! What should I sing next?
I’d love one of the ballads from the film, High Society. Like True Love or Samantha that Bing Crosby sang. Love that old style. :). But honestly, anything!! ❤
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful
Thank you so much
Beautiful!! ❤❤❤
Thank you very very much ☺️
I sang this song in Toronto with Westlife on the 11th of March, 2024, and that moment made me cry.
So beautifull!!🍄🌹🌺🌷🍄❤️🇨🇭
Thank you! Cheers!

When someone does an extraordinary job performing this song, it has me in tears. Fortunately, I have a box of Kleenex on my desk. Well done!

@@nickhiggsthesinger For Good from Wicked 😍
Dear Nick,
Massive thanks for posting this recording of your rendition of the classic "You Raise Me Up" - a great success, in my opinion, well-done!
I have only just seen this post by yourself so cannot say much more apart from offering my reflections on this very rendition, so apologies in advance.
I would very much like to hear more of the lower register of your baritone. In most pieces the music tends to intensify towards a climax at the end, taking a vocalist to a higher pitch and top power of delivery.
If you ever choose to tap into the operatic bel canto as a source of inspiration, I would very much like to hear your warmed-up and powered-up baritone notes that would hit those goose bumps when you deliver it at the top of your power.
With best regards and wishes for future successes,
Andre (hi/him)

I also am a Baritone can you tell me what music score you used. I am having trouble finding it for our voices. You can be proud of your voice.
hallo 😀 it is not wery often people know that the song started in NORWAY . BUT IT DID .
prima
I was about to make vicious Josh Groban baritone joke until Google informed me this is a Secret Garden ft. Johnny Logan song.
Glad you found out 🙂 But the very first man singing this with Secret Garden was Irishman Brian Kennedy in a 2001 album. Johnny Logan came later.
@@Muesile The story gets richer 😀
@@hippopotamusbosch 😀 Secret Garden is an Irish-Norwegian duo, and the song was a big hit in Norway in 2001.
Westlife performed their Irish version in 2005(two years before I was born).
Guys, I just have Eurovision on the brain this week.
Do you perform before the crowd?
Hi nick :)
Hey! How are you?
@@nickhiggsthesinger I’m great. Thank you :) how are you?
😀😃
so much love in the comment section, all well-deserved. 100th comment haha
I appreciate all the love, that's for sure!
I feel like I can do this too, but as soon as I hit the record button my quality drops. Any tips to overcome that fear/pressure of having to do it right.
I know exactly how you feel! I'm a soprano and I have terrible nerves and usually when my aniexty rises and nerves creep in it's like my throats gets dry my high notes don't come out and like my voice goes so quiet and can barely make a sound. My best advice is to like just go for it and if you don't like it retry and give it your all. Close your eyes and pretend you're not recording. I hope this helps.
What key is this in?
I believe this one starts in D♭ and has a key change to E♭ and then to E; for reference, Josh Groban's original should be E♭ with a key change to F and then to G♭.
How much is this pitched down?
None
Actually I believe from Josh Groban's original (E♭ with a key change to F and then to G♭), this one's pitched down two semitones (D♭ → E♭ → E).
Beautiful!
Thank you!
