I have watched hundreds of van life videos. I would rate yours on the top. From the filming, the talk, editing and sound. It is so real and easy to enjoy watching. and the beautiful smiles definitely helped!
I was in UP when you made this video and up here the bugs are so insane I didn't even want to leave my truck. I was amazed that even when it got cold the bugs still flying around thou far less fearsome. Haven't decided on next destination, just know the bugs will drive me out of here come spring.
Please be safe. Being alone in your car at night in the middle of nowhere can be potentially dangerous. You are so sweet and nice. Keep aware of your environment and be safe.
I worked in television for 40 years and had a roommate who was in the Pharmacy program so I understand how much you had to study. I'm retired and have watched many youtube programs on RVing and Tiny Homes. My son works for Duolingo so I'm learning Espanol on the Duolingo app. I've enjoyed your programs. Next time you're in Michigan drop me a line.😀.
Michigan can be a great place to camp, you just have to hit the seasons right. The UP has mosquitos and black flys in the summer so go in the early spring or late fall to avoid them or just hug the great lakes and stay where you can get a breeze. Yes, MI is the state of mosquitos it seems. In the Boy Scouts we camped a lot of locations in downstate MI, but up north in the lower peninsula or in the Upper Peninsula there are tons of places to camp.
Just watching some of the older videos for time perspective and just to see the earlier videos. The Michigan video must seem like a hundred years ago......haha. The UP (had a friend from Michigan and thats what they call the Upper Peninsula) is a sight to behold too. But your new experience with the van is going to make your traveling infinitely more enjoyable. I gotta get to crackin on getting myself a van. I'm living vicariously through you know but keeping it in my sights.
I stumbled onto your UA-cam channel last night as there was nothing on television I wanted to watch. I wound up watching your videos all evening long until bedtime. First of all, I must say that you are simply beautiful, but more importantly, very intelligent as well. I was pretty sure you came from some sort of medical background, as do I, when I saw the "Rx" affixed to your channel name. Later, I saw in one of your videos that you are a RPh! Wow! I was the administrative director of the hospital's pharmacy (among other departments) and really enjoyed working with the professionals in that department. The Director of the Pharmacy and I even became running buddies. In any case, I thoroughly enjoy your travel videos, but hope you take precautions for your safety as well as having some basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and a small socket set in case of a breakdown. Also, I recommend you carry a air compressor/inflator as well as a plug-style tire repair kit in case of a flat when you are not near a service station; I always carry both of those in my own car. I hope some day you can travel to my home state, Texas! Bienvenidos, bonita senorita. Mi casa es su casa!
Lots of free dispersed camping options in the U.P. if you're willing to drive a bit further north. Thermacell works great for the mosquitoes. Safe travels.
Michigan is beautiful. Love the camping area. That sound could of been a Sasquatch creature. Love your camera stick. Looking beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Elise...🎥😃👍👌👊🙏❤️❤️❤️
I've never heard of ioverlander before now. Thanks for the heads-up, it looks very interesting. We are in Sebring FL, just aa short hop away from your home base. Wave and toot the horn as you drive US-27. :)
Welcome to Michigan 😊 Checkout the wonderful lighthouses The Great Lakes and the inner lakes too Hopefully you get to touch the 4 Great Lakes surrounding Michigan 🎉 Keep on adventuring 🩴😎
Wonderful video! Drove the Huron (Sunrise) Coast via US 23 in 2015 from Port Huron to Mackinaw City - that was a beautiful trip with many lighthouses to see long the way. Did the Lake Michigan side in 2016 and was also beautiful. Something I didn't know: Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are the same level - essentially the same body of water in reality separated by the Straights of Mackinaw. Recommendation: the New England Coast from Salem Mass to Portland Maine largely hugs the coast...looks like a post card. The White Mountains of NH are also amazing. Best wishes for your 2024 travels.
Very cool to see you camping in my home state, Ludington is one of the prettiest places in Michigan, and just a bit north of that is the sleeping bear dunes, which in my opinion is even more pretty.
Please think & be very careful. Don't over explain where you're heading to & keep extra protection, m@ce @ all doors when you're alone. please, stay & always keep your cell charged & on you, safe travels.
Love your videos. What a great combination of talents you have. I really love learning about this lifestyle. I see it in my future. You made a great channel here. Thanks!

Hi Elisa it's Tony I didn't see your video this week so I'm just saying hi hopefully I'll see you next one until then take care of yourself pleasant dreams

I live in central Michigan. I'm in Grand Rapids a lot. Make sure you go farther north and explore. The U.P. is beautiful this time of year.
Girl, ya drove right past my house and didn't even say "HI"....LOL Hopefully you stuck around the area cause Silver Lake is a little south of Ludington. Not as much shopping as Ludington but a lot more to see. Welcome to my State!❤

Hey question for ya, did you ever do any MPG testing with and without your roof rack storage system? I'd be interested to know how negatively it may have affected your fuel economy. Thanks

The camera you shoot with is so freaking dope 😯📷📷📷
Hi Elisa-you are just too funny with the supposed person screaming in the woods ending up being a bird. Talk about LOL!
Five star parking lot! ❤️
Come up to Traverse City! It’s absolutely beautiful up here ❤
I just did the same route in July. Ludington>Gaylord>UP for 10 days! Let me know if you need any suggestions.
Great 360 shots , your camera work is very good for an 'amateur' lol.
Wow, you are breathtaking! Please be careful out there. You are to amazing to be out there all alone. 😍
Fantastic ❤🙏
The weather in Michigan is a lot cooler than Florida. Lol on the people screaming (birds). I gotta get that gazebo. Hey what's for camp supper??
Or maybe a Bolivia chocolate desert , yum, oh boy
I love food from different cultures
You hit some nice clear days in MI, this summer was pretty hazy due to the Canadian wildfire smoke.
I got lucky!
I enjoy your honest and entertaining videos. Refreshing. FYI my mother's name was Elisa. 😊
Thank you! That's very cool, not too many Elisas out there :)
Beautiful lady having great fun time. I have been watching your videos recently.

@@soloelisa and did you ever get to eat any of your mangos?
You look great .🌹
You probably have gone over this before, but I am a new subscriber. LOL... What kind of camera do you use?
I use a Sony zv1 and an insta 360
At the end of the video, is your right hand holding something that controls the camera? At first I thought you trained a drone to fly next to you.
It’s an insta 360 invisible selfie stick 😌
Hey Elisa, is this your first time visiting Michigan?
What brand/model tent is that? I love it
