I was able to get this to work for golden tea. But it doesn’t work for Simpsons bowling. When I hit enter and then esc for it to say “none” it always automatically default to mouse when i hit enter again to input the trackball. And I tried changing the emulation in batocera but that just wont launch the game
sorry I don’t work with Batocera, but make sure that the name ini is correctly configured to have the trackball_device set to mouse. Maybe in your Batocera build those two games use different versions of mame and one might be set correctly and the other one might not be set correctly.
@@ArcadeOne hey, I was able to get it to work. But now my problem is every time I turn my PC off even when I do it the proper way thru batocera the next time I play everything’s reset so I have to do this whole process over again. I don’t know why it would do that.
@@Dkline08 your default.cfg file in the MAME cfg folder is propably set to read only. You have to uncheck read only, configure the trackball, then set it back to read only.
Hey Carlos, what do you recommend for the sensitivity settings?
Personal preference really

@@ArcadeOne OK, I know you don’t work with batocera but would you happen to know how to do that. Or even if there is a vid, if not its ok lol
@@Dkline08 go to your MAME emulator folder and you’ll see a cfg folder which contains default.cfg
you completely left out the settings needed in the mame.ini file
this video is meant for my customers. Those settings are already set for them.
Bullshit! When I tried this, my mouse didn't move! Arrrggghh!!
this video is aimed at my customers, since you're not. customer, you have to edit mame.ini and change trackball from keyboard to mouse.
