I've been wondering if this port is actually a tracker arrange of the MK theme, just remixed to be even more original... SMWC Kaizo hacks also lean into tracker music for some of the soundtracks.
Update: no it isn't... this is actually an original song that was created for the romhack. But I'm trying to convince Papanug to release an OST video with a clean version of the song itself. It's looking to be a real banger tho
