Thank you so much for this!! Such an amazing group! Their talents are unreal! Just wait until you check out their live performances! The way they can dance like they do WHILE singing like they do…and then there’s the facial expressions! They are truly in a league of their own imo! 🫶🏻
There are 2 parts that always tickles my brain in the best way- Seonghwa's key change for the 더더더밀려와더 part towards the end of Wave and Seonghwa and Yunho doing the adlibs during Mingi's rap in Eternal Sunshine. Their vocals are always incredible but those 2 parts just make me so happy. ❤ I also get what you mean when you were talking about knowing they were good but feeling like you were rediscovering it while watching. With Ateez, it's easy to get overwhelmed. Not in a chaotic, messy, doing too much kind of way, but in the sense that they (and the company/ producers/choreographers, etc) genuinely love creating for Ateez's works and everything is just so big and such a production, it's literally impossible to get everything in the first couple of times you see something. The MV's are literal movies so it's hard to focus on the lyrics or choreo and they're such hard workers and incredible dancers that I sometimes get lost in that aspect of their performances and space out on the actual incredible vocals happening at the same time. That's why I love the ount of content they put out and how they are trying to add more variety to the type of things we get to see. From the Coachella performance that let's us see their overall powerhouse performance ability, to their studio vlogs where we get to see them all to some extent put their producer hats on and share their opinions on how to make the songs the best they can be (people can say what they want about Eden, but it's amazing to see how confident they all have become in not only their vocal abilities but in trusting themselves to know their art and have constructive opinions and not being afraid to voice them), to their dance practices that I literally have to watch 9 times each so I can make sure I don't miss anything. Ateez never disappoint and I'm so glad I found them. ❤
I loved this reaction! It felt like when I watched it the first time and I have watched a ton of reactions to KV. I think this opened a lot of casual fans and new fans eyes to what Ateez is capable of. It has been such a positive experience for Atiny! Especially quieting those that naysay about Jongho and/or San’s voices. I am probably one of the ones you remember adoring Seonghwa. He’s been my bias since before I knew his name just based off his live performance. I think, for me, there is something about him/his voice that injects emotions into whatever he is singing. They sing the whole song to win parts and I noticed he tends to get a lot of ‘accent’ parts where there is a change in the song or a lot of power is needed. Wait until you see how silly Seonghwa and San are together. They are housemates (along with Mingi) and they are always up to something. Lately there has been a white chocolate strawberry cake / Lego war… I’ll leave it at that. Ohhh… and if you watch the latest Logbooks on Ateez’s channel, you can watch them pranking other members for the sake of a TT.
New sub here, after scrolling back to watch all the ATEEZ reactions you've done so far before hitting this one. Although I still don't consider myself a "long time" fan - I heard my first ATEEZ song (Answer) on 18 October 2022, and immediately got captured - I have to agree with others who have said that there's not really any one song that "is ATEEZ". They don't stick to a genre or even a specific sound, but their distinct flavor comes through in everything they do... so for me, it's easy to hear a song that I've never heard before and immediately know "Whoa, this sounds like ATEEZ" before getting confirmation from the vocals or rap. There's a clip out there from an interview where Hongjoong says that they know a song is finished when they play it back full and think no one else could do the song, that it's only a song for ATEEZ, and I think that's where the idea of ATEEZ flavor throughout their discography comes from. For me, I always suggest just starting at the beginning and listening to everything, including the B-sides because they're just as amazing as the title tracks. If you really want to get the full experience, you can jump all the way back to their KQ Fellaz days to watch the fairly short show (it's essentially highlights so each episode is only a few minutes long) and performance videos that show just how good they actually were before returning to Korea. There are a couple of good resources out there for the lore, too, if you want to get into that (as a reaction or just for slightly better understanding of the MVs). But in the end, ATEEZ is ATEEZ. Any given fan may have different opinions about a song, or different favorites, or different biases... but I think most if not all of TINYville would agree that all of our guys are super talented and the tracks are well written and produced even if we don't necessarily groove with it personally. My top 5 defining ATEEZ songs: -- Answer: it was my first, but it was also literally the answer to whether or not I'd explore Kpop. I'd been listening to Kdrama OSTs for about 6 months, so I'd been exposed a bit to artists and groups through those (Cha Eunwoo before Astro, multiple members of BTS before a group song, Rowoon before SF9, etc.) I had listened to a little from some groups beyond the OST songs, but I was still very biased against Kpop in general. I searched UA-cam for "Kpop music videos" and there it was in the top results. I'd asked "Is it worth exploring, can I enjoy it?" and it really just felt like fate that there was a song called Answer, so I clicked on it and the rest is history. -- Silver Light: this hits me as a hybrid sound between two other songs I absolutely love, and the lyrics are amazing. Anytime I feel like darkness is closing in or that I'm a living example of "When it rains, it pours", this song helps me shift my thought pattern out of the spiral and into forward movement. -- HALA HALA: the song itself is great, but the MV is a perfect example of how the music, vocals, and performance blend to create the whole, without pretty faces getting in the mix. It's one that has an interesting DP for it as well (be sure to pay attention to Captain after the ending move). -- Black Cat Nero: okay, so this isn't technically an ATEEZ song, it's a cover of another song that itself was based on a children's song from Italy. BUT. I'm including this one here because it's a prime example of how ATEEZ can take someone else's song and cover it in a way that may as well make it their own; it isn't a karaoke kind of cover, but a re-imagined version packed full of that signature ATEEZ flavor. -- Sunrise: this one's another "don't give up, keep doing your best" song, and it's wonderful. The lyrics are heartbreaking at points, but overall the song itself is so full of encouragement and hope for a brighter future (aka, even in the darkest night, the sun will still rise tomorrow). But there are really just too many that speak to me on a deeply emotional level for me to list the names and reasons. That's part of why I love their music so much.
Also, I'm not sure if you noticed later, but the Killing Voice video has the titles (sectioned by song) in the scrollbar. Since some are in Korean, the order is: Wave Bouncy Pirate King Treasure Answer Say My Name Fireworks (I'm the One) Deja Vu Guerrilla Eternal Sunshine Utopia Turbulence Fever Empty Box Crazy Form Work The Real
I think everyone would pick a different ATEEZ style as the song that is ATEEZ. For me though, nothing beats Guerilla and Hala Hala. Oh and Wonderland Symphony no.9. This was the version done on Kingdom and for me it is canon as THE song and THE version. 😂.
I looooveee them!!! They are my ult and for me there is no skip in their discography. I recommend to react their bsides songs and dance practices too along with their mvs. 😊
I am a new Atiny also. I'm not generally a fan of 4th or 5th gen, and as you know already, BigBang and GD will always be my first and best loves, but I happened on these guys a couple months ago to the tune of "Ice on my Teeth" and had to add that to my playlist because....obviously. 😏 And then I started a deeper dive and was blown away by the talent. Sooooo now there's a whole whack of Ateez songs on my playlist....🥳❤
@@tdragonreactions I watched this Killing Vocals about a month ago and Jongho just jumped out at me with his vocals (Hello, what?!), and was actually the main reason I started wanting to hear more of them. And San, who is no slouch either in the vocals and not hard on the eyes. I haven't really explored any of their personalities, so beyond the pure talent of their vocals and dance which is really impressive, I don't know much about them. I've heard Hongjoong talk a little about his being inspired by GD, but then who wasn't, right? ❤
@@tdragonreactions Hey Sweetie, I have a couple requests. I think, knowing you, that you will love them. "Empty Box" by Ateez. And "River + Play with Fire" by Yeji X Hyunjin, the 2023 MBC Music Festival, the performance is on another level.
I think Guerrilla was a turning point for Ateez. It became a song that defined them as a group, but long before that the song that the fandom looked to and said,” That song is Ateez.” Was Wonderland. Wonderland is to Ateez, what God’s Menu is to Stray Kids, what I Need You is to BTS.
Yay!! Thank you so much for reacting to this!! I had the biggest smile on my face the whole time. Lol I get what you mean about having a newfound appreciation for their vocals. I felt the same way when I first saw it. Something about this performance really showcases how incredibly talented they are vocally. Not to mention a couple members were sick during this. (Mingi, and I think San as well.) They are so, so impressive. Idk why, but every time I watch their killing voice, I just feel so proud of them! Lol With Ateez’s discography it’s hard to pick just one defining song, but Guerrilla is definitely iconic. Especially the fan chant at the end. Some other defining songs of theirs are Say My Name, Hala Hala, Wonderland, Halazia, and The Real. For different reasons, those songs all have an important place in Ateez’s history. Sorry for the long comment, I just get so excited when you react to Ateez! So thank you again! 😊
Quick note: ATEEZ stands for A TEEnager Z or A to Z as in they have it all, so their name is pronounced like the letter name A plus teez. It's fun to see you appreciate them. I suggest just watching the MVs in order (beginning with Intro Long Journey and Pirate King) because they'll make more sense. You'll get plenty of different titles when you ask for a song that represents ATEEZ. Here are a few: Say My Name - most of the members consider it their representative song. Hala Hala - a double title track with Say My Name. The MV has them wearing hats and masks as if to say our talent is so top tier; we don't need to rely on our looks. This bold move made an impression on a lot of Korean kpop fans. Wonderland - a truly iconic song that represented them even to those outside the fandom Answer - the fandom refers to her as Queen Answer Guerrilla - a turning point song that newer fans, especially, would think of as ATEEZ. Halazia - This dark and ethereal song was meant to be a qick filler between tour legs, but quickly became a fan favorite. If Answer is the white queen, she's the black queen. ❤
Thanks for the correction! That'll make it easier for me to remember! I'll do another compilation reaction so I can watch a few of their MVs. The songs are all so good I don't even know which to watch first but I do like your suggestion. Thank you! I already reacted to Halazia and Guerilla. Both were class. 👌🏼
ive been an atiny since their debut with pirate king but my fav style and song has to be wonderland as thats a song i can never skip when it comes onto my playlist also that song was on my very first ateez album i ever brought. my bias,s are San (ult bias), Mingi, Seonghwa and Jongho ( his vocals are amazing and people are really sleeping on just how amazing he is) my top 5 Ateez songs are Wonderland, Answer, Pirate King, Empty Box and Say My Name
Love your reaction! And, welcome to the Atiny Fandom! 😁 I would say 'Say My Name' was the defining song in the classic sense as it was kind of their break out hit, the song that brought a lot of a lot of fans in the early days.
Seonghwa has been my bias from day 1 and I love how everyone gets shocked when he hits that note! Mine would be HalaHala (for live it's the red outfits for me and the dance practice) and Halazia mv is top tier and full of lore
@@tdragonreactions I always like to say that everyone got great talent otherwise they wouldn't be idols but for me Seonghwa is a shining star (and the mom of the group of course) He's such a cute man. 😊
After BigBang was on hiatus, i was bored. Then i discovered Ateez with the song The Real (the last in Dingo). Their vocals, their energy, their creativity are incredible. Now BigBang comeback and i wish so much a collaboration with Ateez. Ateez have so much good songs. You can watch the ultimate guide of Ateez 2024. Jongho, Hongjoong and San participated in the show Lee Mujin Service. Jongho was amazing, Hongjoong reaaally good but San...he was incredible and surprise me so much. Hope you will react to this. Thank you for the video. You're reaction remind me when i discovered them 😊
I'll definitely watch it but for sure it'll be blocked on YT. I'll give it a go and whatever I can't post, I'll throw on my GDrive so you all have access to it. For me, when BTS were on hiatus, I discovered BigBang. Lol. I went back in time instead of forward. 🤣 No regrets though.
Thanks for the great reaction! I just subscribed..Ateez is my favorite male group and XG is my fav female group. Pronounce the group name with a long A vs a short A. So it's Ayyyy vs ahhhh. Since San is your bias...you are in for a heck of a visual treat in Fireworks (I'm the One), Deja Vu, Bouncy, ITs You, and others..may I suggest their live Cyber Punk stage because there's no music video..but it's very important to watch the performance where they're dressed in all black leather. I think it was it January of 2022 or 2023..same time Halazia mv dropped. Can't wait to watch your future Ateez reactions.
Thanks for the correction. I keep forgetting it's Ay instead of Ah! I'll get it one day!! Yes, I love San, but I'm loving a lot of them now. 🤭 Especially Seonghwa. Thanks for the suggestions!! I love getting them bc you all know best and better than me so keep dropping them. 🙏❤️
@tdragonreactions oooh...I am the same with San and Seonghwa. For Hwa visual treat..in addition to same San mvs, Halazia and Inception are musts. He is also breathtaking with his red hair during the show Kingdom when Ateez performed Rhythm Ta and also same show their Wonderland performance. San was super skinny and looked like he was a young teen until 2020 or 2021.but a cutie pie .just not intimidating.
28:10 I was just waiting for your face when Seunghwa makes his high note in utopia! It’s one of my favorite songs. So for your question in which song make Ateez, Ateez, well It’s hard to say couse if you only listen to the Main Songs them I think is “Say My Name” or “Wonderland “, this ones represents Ateez so well. But if you listen the b sides as well you will see that there’s nothing like that, they are so versatile that it’s hard to put Ateez in a box, as you saw in the Killing Voice a part of it, There’s sad songs, slow songs, rock songs, hyper songs, hard ones, soft ones, Happy and bubbly and so on, There’s no way I can put a finger you know? You will see when you dive into the discography. Just a quick correction, Ateez is a hard name to get right at first, the correct pronunciation is ay-teez. I really enjoyed your reaction! It’s my first time watching one of yours videos and I love it! Next I recommend you to watch the MV for Wave, Deja Vu and The Real. The Real is so good! It talks about Ateez determination to be Humble and Kind and keep their beliefs, and the MV is so much fun! One las thing ( I promise) When reacting to Ateez it’s a MUST to watch the dance practices cause they always put their ALL into it, I’m not ever exaggerating, the camera and the lights shake when they dance!
Thanks for watching and for your wonderful comment. I totally understand why it's hard to pinpoint a song that encompasses Ateez. I was just buzzing because all of their songs were so amazing I was wondering what y'all long time fans thought. Yes, my reactions are normally longer bc I typically do all of that. I react to the MVs, dance performances, even them watching their own MVs, and of course live performances. I feel like you can't really appreciate any group unless you really dive into it...and dive I do. That's probably why I am kinda selective on who I react to.
Ahhhhh…8 makes me team. Once you pick a bias except to change several times with this group. They are all multi-talented. Can’t say enough good things about them. Overjoyed that they are finally get the attention and recognition they deserved. Watch out world!!
I did a kpop dance class for Halazia bc I love the choreo. I failed miserably. Choreo was faster than some of Jungkook's I just don't know how they do it and sing like they do at the same time. It's insane.
So sorry…I’m just pausing and leaving message as I go through the vid lol. Turbulence is a MUST WATCH mv! I promise you that when you watch and read the lyrics, you WILL be crying! They also did a “It’s Live” for it and it’s so good!
That's what I've been trying to tell the world for 6 years.. they are very talented, they are very good and they are Special .. pls do check all song Because all the songs they sing on KILLING VOICE have MVs and special clips... And pls do listen to all they song Coz you wil be surprise and gonna love it's ❤
I was the same way with BigBang. Was only a new VIP and I started my channel to spread the VIP love. Lol But now I'm definitely an Atiny and will continue to spread love for them.
@@tdragonreactions aaaww... I know it's very hard to convince others to like our idols even though they are very talented.. I am very happy and proud of ateez's achievements now.. even though I am not a fan of bigbang but I have great respect for them and i'm proud of their achievements and do like they talent.. so, welcome too our fandom Atiny and always remember being humble and kindness ♥️
I would say my 5 top "defining" Ateez songs are Wonderland, Guerrilla, Bouncy, Say My Name, and Crazy Form. No one could do those songs but Ateez. My personal favourites, though, are Answer, Halazia, Turbulence, Man On Fire and Enough, right now. OH, and the best Ateez ballads/vocal heavy slower songs in my opinion are Turbulence, Be With You, Mist, Empty Box and Enough.
Thanks for sharing! Seems like Guerilla is always mentioned. So glad I reacted to that one! Oh and I'm really excited to listen to the ballads. I'm ready to cry! 😆 Kidding, I'm not but I'm ready to dive in.
@@tdragonreactions Turbulence, Empty Box, and Enough all have music videos, but Mist and Be With You don't. However, the Break The Wall live tour performance of Mist is uploaded here and really good, as well as the Showcase live performance of Be With You. KQ doesn't often block reactions to tour live performances, so you should check them out
I think all these songs have music videos except for maybe Fever and Utopia. Somebody please correct me if I’m wrong. I became Atiny in 2019 and back in the beginning I would sometimes just add new Ateez songs to my playlist without checking if there was a music video. Not anymore though. Empty Box doesn’t have a proper music video but it has a special video visualizer type of thing. But you should watch the videos for all of these songs plus: Wonderland, Inception, Halazia, Don’t Stop, and Not Okay…. And the special video for Enough.
22:58 Guerrilla is pretty important in the fandom. "Break the wall!" is a fan chant at concerts.
It's one of my workout songs. 🤘🏼

Guerrilla - a turning point song that newer fans, especially, would think of as ATEEZ.
@tdragonreactions I'll go check out your reactions!
ive been an atiny since their debut with pirate king but my fav style and song has to be wonderland as thats a song i can never skip when it comes onto my playlist also that song was on my very first ateez album i ever brought.
my bias,s are San (ult bias), Mingi, Seonghwa and Jongho ( his vocals are amazing and people are really sleeping on just how amazing he is)
my top 5 Ateez songs are Wonderland, Answer, Pirate King, Empty Box and Say My Name
I reacted to Say my name recently and that song blew me away. I'll definitely do a lot more Ateez reactions! Thanks for joining me on my journey too.
welcome new Atiny 💜💜Ill be watching your journey excitedly!
Thank you! ❤️
He's extremely talented and versatile! Also, I think his personality is really cute. I really like him now. 🤭
If you watch the video for Turbulence, have tissues ready.
Yep, the T in Turbulence stands for tissues.
For sure I will. I'm looking forward to it.
You need to react to Xikers, they are ATEEZ little bothers. Ateez is such a good group❤ happy to see more people enjoying their music.
I'll look into them. ❤️
Thanks I enjoyed 😊
🤗
My 2 favorite Ateez songs are wonderland (but the 9 symphony version) and halazia
I did a kpop dance class for Halazia bc I love the choreo. I failed miserably. Choreo was faster than some of Jungkook's I just don't know how they do it and sing like they do at the same time. It's insane.
I would say Halazia is for me the most Ateez music identity song
That song is so dope and the video is captivating.
So sorry…I’m just pausing and leaving message as I go through the vid lol. Turbulence is a MUST WATCH mv! I promise you that when you watch and read the lyrics, you WILL be crying! They also did a “It’s Live” for it and it’s so good!
K thanks! I'll check it out and nothing wrong with a good cry now and then. 😂
Lol
But now I'm definitely an Atiny and will continue to spread love for them.
Ateez ❤❤❤
🏴☠️❤️
Out of all ATEEZ songs I think Crazy Form and Fever best represent ATEEZ as artists.
I am a V.I.P. StayTiny so it always makes me excited when I see you reacting to SKZ or ATEEZ!
Omg. That's me too!!! Are you a Moomoo as well??? 🥰
KQ doesn't often block reactions to tour live performances, so you should check them out
Now please react to their sister group, Dreamcatcher, they have so much in common. They share the same producer
They have some producers in common but the last I checked, ATEEZ's main producer, Eden, has not worked for Dreamcatcher.
🫡
Can I request a Dreamcatcher reaction here? Dreamcatcher is a girl group that shares a songwriting team with ATEEZ.
Yes, I think I will because a few have already told me that I should.
Utopia has an MV for the Japanese version. Fever does not, but there is an It's Live performance. KQ labels the informal videos as "special clips".
Thanks for the suggestions! I reacted to Halazia already and was my fave for a while.
Thank you. I hope you reaction seventeen❤
I've heard one song that I really loved but hadn't thought of reacting to them...maybe I'll change my mind!
please check out We Unis. b sides are especially good
Let me look into them. I haven't heard of them. Thanks for the suggestion!
