Legend of the London underground Acid Techno scene. All the guys that were part of the Liberater partys. And that CD . We're F ing 'aveing it. If you weren't there you won't know. Smoke machines & strobes. And acid techno. All night & day relentless. And good stuff to keep you going. Squat partys you could only find by ringing a number after 10pm and a voice message telling you where. Great times😜

D.A.V.E. That set ,was simply awesome. When I first played it I thought - oh 'no'', late 90s acid techno (of which I doff my cap a hundred times from back then, which felt like a (very) rapid but groovy heartbeat). But this gorgeous set chanelled pedigree Techno heritage, yet delivered so much more. I can't tell you how much I enjoy - fall into a reverie if you will - an enlarging ravey sound over an insistant, demanding percusive beat - takes me back. So when that FREE PALESTINE track finally, after teasing refrains, becomes full-on, well, its just bliss. Aged 56 I'm just two weeks after a total hip replacent (don't overdo the running or dancing, kids...) but full-on (walking-stick-free) dancing to this buzzy set gave my new joints the workout they deserve - and the confidence to think about seeking out a late (or all?) nighter involving lots of grooves, darkness, lasers amd dry ice.
