I grew up in South Jersey so the scenes depicted on this layout are very familiar to me. I used to ride the NJT Atlantic City line train to go to the shore during the summer some years and it was always pleasant and clean. Because I lived in the Camden area I would constantly see Conrail working and I have had a life long love of the road. If I ever build a model railroad it is going to be of Conrail in Philly and South Jersey with the Beesley Point Secondary thru Audubon and maybe even the Bordentown Secondary thru Palmyra and Pennsauken. Thank you for posting this. Even if it doesn't have a ton of views it still brings a smile to our faces.
Wowee! You have an incredible layout!! Nice job modeling Conrail In South Jersey!!! That excursion was really neat! I recognize almost all of these places! Also like that NJT commuter train, those comet cars are hard to find, I only got one at a train show for $20. Great stuff man!
