Wow!!! This gentleman is a gifted orator, traditionalist and narrator. I listened to him with rapt attention. For his sake, I will subscribe to your channel right away. Very great guy. Wow!!!
The best interview for me...Oliver de coque is a living legend in his son nayoka...That shows he's the best, because his musical legacy still lives on....
This man is very well spoken and sings very well too. I wonder why he didn't go into music. He would also be a great star if he goes into music. He also has a good sense of humour.
That will be very interesting 🤔. I know the last time I was at Chief Osita Osadebe's house in Atani was during the war. 1969 to be exact. Lt Boyd and myself had gone to Atani to arange for Osadebe to come to Aboh in Ogbaru to play for the then Red Brigade stationed in Aboh. Very exciting experience I might add. Osadebe and his Yoruba wife entertained us with azu ndu and other delicacies. A memorable experience I will never forget in my life. I returned the favour when he and his band came to US(during the Olympics)in 1996🎖️.
I remember him very well - I used to admire his house around Akoka / Bariga in the late 70s - 80s when I was a student of St. Finbarr's College, Akoka - Lagos. He kept monkeys, baboons, and peacocks as pets in the compound back then. God rest his soul. Amen.
You an Igbo watching this, don't fall to the temptation of building a massive residential house. The inner urge will be there, to build talk of the town, but to what purpose really. The legend lives on, on intangible legacies.

LOOK AT HOW GOOD HIS ENGLISH IS EVEN THOUGH HE NEVER ATTENDED UNIVERSITY. WOW, I SALUTE HIM
You don't need a university education for a good English.
@@charlesalozie602you sure do
English is actually a language, not a course, just like Igbo or Hausa or Arabic...
Writing an essay will actually be a problem for someone uneducated
I am marvelled with his level of grammatical expression
University doesn't guarantee good English

Respect yourself, how do you people feel that Igbo’s can’t speak their language anymore anymore anymore, if you don’t like it like it’ forget it.
