So Pyro I have a couple theories. First to talk about Azeroth the fractured. Yes, she is fractured. You can look at her fracture no further than the cosmology chart. She is at the center, like a star, everything centers and gravitates around her.
Second, the way that you mention some of these other children, it kind of gets me wondering, have you ever seen or read the Sandman, in the Sandman, Dream has a few of his creations that go outside of their order, their edict, and start a perversion of their roles onto humanity. It’s only once dream gets his powers back that he is assimilates his abominations back into himself. Now given where the stories at and how much the titans has perversed the universe, who’s to say this isn’t the same thing that’s gonna happen to them after her awakening, but she sucks them back again taking away all their glory all their power and all of their plans fail, causing the timeline collapsing itself.
I think the only reason we have split timelines is because of the titans influence, if they had never meddled with the natural order of the universe, it would have never fractured… the timelines and the cosmological forces would have remained one.
Also! As you mentioning the Argus fight and he splits into 7 constalars, the other titans also have consular forms, constilars are beings made up of tiny stars… if they are children of Azeroth, does that not also create evidence that Azeroth is a Star soul? A giant star breeding creation across the cosmos? Creation is not pretty, and often takes time, the process, goes as such,
We've had that theory for a long time. We just don't know HOW it all works or WHEN.
There's just not enough data to really narrow down possibilities, which means it's all wild speculation until they actually do more big cosmic lore.
Hey Pyro, have u had any more thoughts on Xalatath? Cause i know previously u said u think her and Alleria might be the same person.
After doing the new DF quest Xalatath seems to obsessed with Alleria. So I am convinced that Xalatath is Alleria's future self from a different timeline. Remember Xalatath is either a high elf or took the form of one. But why tho? She was put in that dagger long before high elves existed. I think Alleria became Xalatath and went to our timeline and did some shit the old gods didnt like so they imprisoned her. Thats my theory.
Let me reference Dungeons and Dragons. The outerworlds surrounding the inner planes, the elemental planes+feywild/shadowfel+Prime Material (Azeroth in this case), were composed entirely of Law (the light) and Chaos (the void). So only two alignments. Then and Outside force corrupted Thurizdune into stabbing reality with a seed of evil.
This seed grew into the abyss, and as a result of the following conflict…the two cosmic forces were split into the nine alignments we have today.
So what if something like that happened to WoW’s universe
Was azeroth built around the heart or was it placed in there, neat idea, It would help with the story in the future we could spend the next 30 years putting her back together

Isnt Wow Lore in this case just like Lovecraft mixed with some real world sciense stuff? Azathoth is in the middle of creation and its dream keeps reality what it is. In our science there are 4 forces. Gravity, Electro Magnetism, strong nuclear force and weak nuclear force. Which at very high energy levels (i.e. directly after the big bang) where theorized to be combined into one ultimate force which is literaly the "theorie of everything" that scientist search for the last 100 years. If you asume that Azathoth was there when the big bang happened, the forces would be one back then. Port that to WOW and you got this story :)

If we're talking about solving the sentences such as "Her heart is a crater and we filled it" here's another one I may have solved.

How do you solve " The boy-king serves at his master's table." Until now I thought it was him serving at Zovaal's side. Keeping this as spoiler free so to keep to the "Pyromancer rule" of not knowing anything about The War Within... errrr this theory is about The Last Titan, and about the comic "Son of the Wolf" which already exists. The last page of the comic to be precise. I believe Anduin's path is to seek an allegiance to someone or something OTHER THAN being the king of the Eastern Kingdoms, especially now after what he'd experienced in Shadowlands and The Maw. This allegiance is going to lead to him, the boy-king, serving at the side of a more powerful individual. Nope, it ain't Xal'atath. If you watched a specific Bellular video that mentioned the Arathi you know the answer I'm eluding at, keeping it as vague as possible so not to spoil anything for Pyromancer. Look at the comic, at the last page, one more time. It's mentioning a battle to be waged one last time where Light overcomes the Void. Not the Light as in Xe'ra type of Light but the Light from within. From Azeroth I would say. This scene in the comic is Anduin serving one more time on the behest of the master he swore an allegiance towards. The master he decided to serve... Something as simple as finding another mortal being who could be a surrogate father for him is him serving at that person's table...☺
I think there's a division within the hollow world thing. Azeroth was taken by the six cosmic forces. I think Elune was as well, but imprisoned in the Moon since she's the Moon Goddess. An'she and Sargeras...not sure about that yet.
Azeroth was whole before Aman'thul damaged Azeroth by pulling Y'shaarj out. The Titans are beings of Order. Blue. They were pissed off because the Old Gods were after their prize, so they went hard on the Old Gods. As expected, the OGs fought each other as much as with their external enemies. I think of them as the Chaos Gods of Warhammer (since Warcraft came from a failed attempt at a license for Warhammer Fantasy). The Well is a literal capstone to not seal the Well. It was to exploit it, just like a nicely found oil reserve.
I take from this that she was shattered by Aman'Thul and then the six forces divided her up. Light, Void, Fel, Arcane, Life and Death. They each have a "zone" and they use the "world soul" as their own anchor to reality. Maybe they even did a deal. We all share for the sake of Creation. Then, of course, they all stabbed each other in the back, as gods are wont to do.
When azerite came out, Light and Order were released. Sargeras stabbed the planet in exactly that spot. He knew what he was doing.
The newest visions people are getting are now almost all Light. Fel was likely purged from Azeroth. Now Void is likely gone as well. The image that Thrall and Anduin and the others are getting show almost all Light, and the edges are all the rest. Very little purple, blue, red, blue or green. It's Light in the core and the rest are all on the outer rim. I think the Light comes to own Azeroth because everyone else has been removed or co-opted now.
i swear Oda's writing and design of One Piece with its finality, really fits exactly in with WoW's exact same conceptual structure. Since they both weave in a lot of different but similar mythos.
In both stories, the final "god" manipulates history, erasing the past, and establishes a hierarchical power structure where those at the top control those beneath them. Themes of dreams v nightmares, and fate v destiny by the inheritance of wills serving as fractal examples of repeating mechanisms. Theres Burning rage, but also love. True love. Love finds a way.
WoW unlike OP doesnt usually directly state often for the average fan the perception of "gods" and "devils" shifting depending on who holds power. For instance, only those privy to the titan's' true nature perceive her as malevolent, while others see her as a beacon of good. Similarly, Chronicles, is entirely propaganda written by the victors who ousted the true light.
Imu's position atop the "empty" throne shows a past where previously ruled by a true god, now usurped and segmented by the victors of an once advanced utopian Pangea world. The immortal council puppeted by the true devil (Imu) that controls the World Government, and the history to redefine themselves as gods, casting those who oppose their rule as devils, perpetuating a shadowy reign over an unnatural reality.
It all stems down to a heliocentric vs geocentric models of the world, and how we see it as. Once we see the world revolves around the sun, it will be a new dawn. But first there will be a flood, and a sundering.
Elune is inside Azeroth, not Azeroth the titan that we all think.
Reread the story of Anshe and Musha, redo the troll quest line, their stories are very forward to the idea that Elune - or at least a part of her, is within Azeroth. And before you bring the idea that Elune is a “new god”… “upstart” goddess means she recently gained popularity or wealth or influence, she’s now “famous”. This does not mean new.
Azeroth the titan could very well be the First One, not first ones, just “One” but Azeroth is also fragmented into all the different cosmological circles on the map. She could even go by another name entirely - with Azeroth the planet, simply being the key to reach her, or just The First One’s heart itself.
Crazy af take but the stories are very similar and no one ever knows where Elune is… except the fact that she, like Azeroth, are also able to intercept and break the limits of the shadowlands as seen by the heart of Azeroth, and piece of Elune speaking through tyrande.
Again, all crazy thoughts in a first draft.
I love this Theory I was looking at some images of norgannon and there's one picture that shows the entire Pantheon but norgannon has his back turned also not to mention norgannon gives off Loki vibes from Norse mythology
Do you have any idea how much fun it is to see you get this excited about this lore theory stuff? You just exude the energy that you're working with in the story research. "I'm looking at you, Norgonon" soto voice was just so fun. Please keep it up, I am loving this.

4:50 I believe this is exactly what the Titans are preventing. When we die our soul/anima (whatever you want to call it) should go back to Azeroth herself.

I like how you think Pyro, but I am 10000% sure the current writers at Blizzard don't think this way, they can't. Maybe in the past there were a lot of thinking people there that could think this way you do, but not now... Even with Chris Metzen involved, he doesn't have creative freedom like we would want and how we think he has... Chris Metzen was a corporate decision, like all big companies do, when they want to attract their customers again and when an infusion of money comes. Even if we are hyped for Worldsoul saga with what we seen so far, we will be very disappointed at the end and we will understand then that Chris Metzen was hired just to hype TWW and we will understand that it was a corporate decision and he will not have the creative freedom we all hope... Microsoft is not a well-known company that does what the consumers ask.. At the end we will be disappointed again, just like before... Blizzard has not changed... They are not Blizzard anymore... They are just hActivision...
