The diffrence in training between tommy and billy is great. Tommys playing with rebound and using a stop watch. Billy just rags a 90s bike about and does wheelies 😂
I'm an old guy and you really made me miss my '79 Husky 390WR. That bike ran for years with mostly nothing but topping the tank off. I had many dirt bikes back in the day, but that 390 was my favorite.
Get another one if you can mate. I did motocross in my youth, from an 80c Suzuki RM up to a YZ250 that someone stole after and ended my offroad days at 19 years old. Now I'm 42 and about to get a WR450 to get off road again. Not as savage as a YZ250 but it gets me outside, in the mud. Green laning societies are plentiful and have a broad range of ages riding.
I had a ‘95. Flawed design but a good unit once you’d sorted a couple of things out: the shaft connecting the kick start used to bite out the internal wall as it transferred over to the other side. 1: A brass journal fixed that. 2: You need to install a decompression kit into the head for kick starting despite building a journal though. 3: super-rich jetting in carb needs calming down and the needle dropped but it’ll already have that done…. Not overly powerful at 349cc but excellent at enduro, hare&hound and I’m surprised this cc engine isn’t available on the market by somebody anymore….I guess the 300cc is thought to be enough power..??
Brilliant, you are riding an old bike with ball, tires and flat, going through shitty obstacles,, whoops and other other stuff and having a right old laugh in the process. Keep bringing them Billy boy 👏👏
Husqvarna WR360 92-94' best husky 2 stroke I've ever ridden when new, they climb like a rock crawler! I want one, been looking for ages. But it actually looks more like a CR360 without a headlight. The WR360 was Enduro, the CR obviously motocross.
1992... the enduro will lug for days! OEM ignition is known to go bad; I put the PVL ignition on mine. I have NOS seat and plastics if you're interested. Enjoy! Cheers!!
Nice one Bill. It's an italian built '92 CR, wouldn't be too sure it's a 360. External differences are small, but pipe and cylinder head look like a 250. Also the 19 inch rear, short subframe and silencer distinguish it as the cross model (not enduro WR). I'd be happy to help pointing out resources for parts as they can be a bit hard to find. The thing will be a winner when she's a little bit fixed up and running clean.
@@martinbarrscrf4502 agree, but the thing sounded like it was running like shit. Powervalve sounds like it is sticking and jetting seems off, better ask Johnny ;)
Saw my first Heikki Mikkola 360cc Husqvarna 2 stroke in New England in the late-70's at the Capeway Rovers MX track in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Powerful bike with almost zero suspension travel compared to what you ride today. Where is Roxy Cam? She is the only reason I watch and subscribe Billy. She is understandable and offers great insight.
Had one for 4 years and definitely one of the better woods bikes I’ve ever owned! Loads of tractable power for the trails on the east coast of the U.S where I live! Always say if I ever see another one pop up for sale I’ll buy it but they are few and far between in my parts these days…it was the only husky I’ve ever owned but i was always impressed with it and in 4 years riding I never had a breakdown and just performed regular maintenance. Actually took it to the mx track occasionally as well and it held its own surprisingly well there too!
Had a small pile of those over the years. Both the 360 and 250. Workhorses. Reliable, well appointed, capable. That said slightly heavy feeling, slightly boring. Those older bike cared less about weight and more about the mission. Axle pulls, quick tool-less seat release, zerks on the linkage and swingarm, big tanks, double wall expansion chambers, strong wheels, robust kickstand, big quiet spark arrested mufflers, tool packs... so cool. One of mine had fully adjustable showa suspension with fork preload adjusters!!! Every bike should have that, very useful. Cool vid, fun watch. Keep um coming. BTW the CR/WR from 99 and up are real good. As are the mid 80s 390/430 etc.
I think this is a wr360 1992-1994 because it has many similar features that my 1992 wr125 has. That is the original motocross front end, but Acerbis sells the original headlight for that, it's Acerbis elba. You also want to keep those plastics good because good plastics are bit hard to find for those huskys. It's an awesome bike.
unreal how easy he made this look at 12:32 some beat old bike, probably bent up bars on it hardly running correctly im sure the clutch is shot and in the rain and mud
Waching bill on an old bike is amazing. The fact he still rides them so well .simply goes to prove its the rider not the bike that matters to a larger degree. I predicted the high views on the 610 video and im going to say the same for this one . If im right for that amount of foresight i think i should get a pink Billy hat for free 🤣🤣 epic video boys 👍👍
Bill...first thing you do it toss that Dellorto as far as you can..talk about a prick of a carb. Find a Keihin PWK 38mm, get Doc to jet it well and the bike will go anywhere..heaps of torque but they do sign off quickly. Plastics are worth a mint and brittle these days but l can attest to the bike being very good at resisting crashes :).. 92/93 WR's were the last of the Swedish Huskys before Italians took them over in 94 onwards but there are parts that interchange from 92 through to the last model in 2002.
Nice one billy I was made up for ya when it it fired. Your reaction was great and looked much fun to ride, maybe like what Ed said and do the vmxdn👍🏼, great looking graphics Ed, nice vlog 👍🏼👍🏼
My 94 had 5 gears but I found a 6 speed set in the USA fitted straight in I also had trouble withe the intermediate Kick starter gear a steel bush was better as the pin does not need to rotate. It was a brilliant bike like you say the power was just right completely different to say a KTM 300 .
Looks just like my 1997 model ktm 360 witch is a exc so has brake lights but seems like someone put husqvana stickers on would love to see mine go with Billy on it they are extremely fast when u get it running properly
I've got a 02' Wr360 here in the UK.Stock Mikuni was dog shite and impossible to jet correctly so stuck on a 38mm lectron HV and completely transformed it.The ignition sytems are temperamental so i also fitted an adjustable HPI jobby.Never a fast bike top end but the instant tourqe from extremely low revs is incredible.Check out Stormworks in the UK for info and spare parts im sure they could help.
I love my 1993 WXE 360 Husky / Nasty Varmint. It has guts; way down on the bottom & on the Top! Wheelies when needed! Beats CR 500 and KX 500’s with ease!
You need this suspension set up on your race bikes. It is dialed in. The bike is running fat and probably needs rings. One thing, on mine the plastic gas tank split on the lower seam due to a poor fusion weld and almost caught the bike on fire. I tried to get it warranteed in the US but they told me to buzz off. A new replacement one was $300 , I bought a used tank off Ebay for $20 and then sold it. I am glad they went out of business.
Nice machine!!got my '99 125cc 2 strokes few months ago and I absolutely love it. It pulls. You seem really more confortable than with the 610 XD. You ride it like a fu**** boss.
Nine of us did a husky day from work, six ended up in hospital with... Broken rib, dislocated shoulder, broken kneecap etc. I called it 'hell day'. The brand new bikes were better than us, if a bit bent afterwards! 😅 The boss was not happy....
I'm totally here for Bill riding relatable bikes like a boss.

It’s the 350 , bro .😊
same with the ktm 360, pretty much it's the same cylinder from the 300 just bored out to 360. So most parts are exactly the same from 250/300
Husky were swedish until 87, from 88 it was a re-branded Cagiva for a couple of years.
It was still
Pretty much Cagiva into mid 2000s half the parts in the engine still have Cagiva on them

sweet old 360! 1990s era Huskies always turn better with the rear wheel cause the steering lock is pretty average to say the least.

Ohlins rear shock & 5 speed gearbox? Looks like Mx model but not sure if 360 could be a 250 . WR would have 6 speed box
Heck yea glad to see you still cuss while working on your bikes!
Cagiva owned husqvarna since 86 before ktm
Things must be tight at Red Bull, Billy"s on a retro bike with no gloves!
Sammy Miller has a collection, you should too Billy !
Thing is sweet I would do a full resto mod , modernize/tune that engine some and new style plastics, run some enduros on it
Those boots are genius
You need to do an enduro at home on it fully undercover bit like Ronnie Mac and completely piss the competition.
To be fair. JW turns the spanners on his own bikes very well.
Restore it billy! and get a comp done on it! Then put it away 😜
