Gave a video like. Dang, just look at how young Lou looks. That is so cool! I just put all those Bill Davis cards on my want list, lol. Great video, Peter
Wow, that's a lot of shared rookie cards for Davis. What's more surprising is that he never played long enough to have his own card. When putting the 68 set together, I found it odd that Piniella had a second shared rookie card ahead of the 69. Its only recently that I realized the third in his 64 offering. Thanks for posting these great facts.
Yes! I was wondering if anyone would do a video on Piniella's many "Rookie" cards! Such a weird scenario. I didn't know about the Bill Davis run, thanks for sharing that. Five?!?! Unreal! In modern there is a similar situation with Chipper Jones and Derek Jeter, although both of them obviously had solo cards first. Great stuff!
I like this display. I knew Lou Piniella had many rookie cards However, I never knew the story about the Bill Davis rookie cards. Thanks for the interesting video Peter.

That is a great story Pete. I always thought Sweet Lou had the corner marketed on multiple player rookie cards until just now. Thanks for sharing!
