found ur stuff from the yakuza masculinity video (amazing stuff btw), i'll leave my short story here. Dark Souls 3 was my first souls game, and i probably restarted the game 3 or 4 times just before the Abyss Watchers just because I am horribly indecisive on my build, and settled on a guts build because I was most of the way through Berserk at the time, and my souls adventure sort of intertwined with my Berserk experience. Beating the Abyss Watchers with that slow ass, clunky greatsword made the appeal of the SoulsBorne games finally click for me, and even after beating all of them but DS2, they're still one of my top 5 bosses of all time just for how it made me feel (and cus theyre dope asf lmao). However, on that same playthrough, the boss I struggled with the most was by far the Nameless King. I think I clocked over 100 deaths to him, getting smoked over and over again trying to learn his moveset (I have since gotten good). But it was so fucking rewarding beating him dude holy shit, I didn't mind constantly refighting him because hes SO FUCKING COOL BRO HE HAS A THUNDER SPEAR AND A PET WYVERN AND SSJ3 HAIR AND HES ACTUALLY GWYNS FIRSTBORN SON??! By far my fav boss of all time just because of that. I think those two examples show the power video games have in that regard because from an objective standpoint there might be better elements in Dark Souls 3 than just those two bosses but they stick out because they're personal to me, and I had my own little story overcoming those challenges in my own way, and I think thats really cool :)
Thanks so much man. Being a really small creator, stuff like this honestly means the world to me. Looking back on these old videos, and even in the kenobi one a little, I feel like I could always do better. Hearing this gives me a lot of motivation!
yo I just got back from watching some of your vids and they are AMAZING. That reload vid was unbelievably good. Keep at it man. Hopefully one day we'll both get big.
@@noiamnotok1275 yes!, crossing my fingers. But I really hope you do well in the future, because you’ve been making videos quicker than me(my schedule’s trash). You deserve attention
I feel that bro. Making time for UA-cam is hard, but after getting the positive reception from the Kenobi vid, I feel like my schedule has cleared up a bit.
