In case it won't work try using other USB Stick. It doesn't have to be a large one usually old stick will do the trick. To use your stick with PC again simply reformat using Rufus or such tools.

i think you can downgrade by doing usb method then go to wifi dns do what he did so it cant force you to update until next time u reboot your console but make sure updating option r turn off so it cant automatic updating itself overnight
