Thank You James ! I had a Mini 2 a few years ago. Looking to get another Drone. Not sure if they will be banned here in the USA soon. I was looking at the Mini 4 Pro and the Air 3. I hate to spend that much on a drone since my Mini 2 was perfect for me. I don't use waypoints, tracking, or any of them options. A mini is a little to much for just a few upgrades from the Mini 2. Mini 3 Pro would be the same price as a Mini 4 Pro. I looked at this Mini 4k before but came back to it again. Would be an exact replacement for my Mini 2 which I really enjoyed and learned to fly. I don't need Obstacle avoidance or any of them features. I looked and somehow found on the DJI website here in the US the Mini 4k Fly More Kit for $289.99 ! I think for what I use the drone for and the amount of time I would use it the Mini 4k will be perfect. Thanks for showing all the options in the fly app.
There are so many to choose from but I think if you're upgrading from a Mini 2 and wanted something similar you can't go wrong with the Mini 4k. Hope you enjoy yours!
It looks very good, but i'll hang on to what other drones DJI release this year just in case there is a better starter or better value for money alternative. Otherwise I'll be considering this one. Great video, explaining just about everything about it without droning on (sorry) about anything and everything irrelevant.

@@LensOfJames BTW your videos are quite professionally done. Lack a bit of humor perhaps. Here is an idea. Make a 'local adventure' video with the cheapest equipment you can find. Still OK for YT of course. For example my L200 Pro Max drone is €90! Not saying it is as good as the DJI Mini 4k. But the video is definitely good enough. Then cheap action cam or camera or phone. Budget vlogging for poor folks! Then compare it with more expensive cameras. Same adventure. Or you could even do a third video with total crap for the fun of it. €20 drone, €15 camera. Because if there is one thing I hate it is idiots calling a €1000 DJI Mini 4 Pro a beginner drone. This Mini 4k is amazing value for money. Keep checking when Maven, Litchi, or Dronelink will become compatible. Because in my mind a DJI with one of those third aprty apps is actually better than a Mini 4 Pro without. Especially the GPS follow-me feature is superior to DJI's optical tracking when driving a van!

@LensOfJames firstly, I appreciate your reply. I'm not able to download the apk file. When prompted with 'this file my be harmful' I continue OK, then it looks like it will install, but instead just says file not installed. I've since tried on an S22 ultra and got exactly the same problem. I have read of other people having trouble connecting the fly app with android. Also there are different version of S20FE ie , 4g,5g and exynos and snapdragon chips.
@LensOfJames I've sorted the problem. When installing dji fly , it says Download anyway OK If you click OK , it will Not install. If you click Download anyway it will install. Reading online it looks like many hundreds of people are struggling with this very simple problem . Thanks again for your time helping resolve this matter.
@LensOfJames hey when you say it doesn't record footage, I tested it yesterday without an sd card and it recorded the footage which saved into my phone gallery?
Good point! I've just checked and although you can't buy the Mini 4k on the DJI website, you can buy the Care Refresh package, so you'd just have to do it separately.
It's a great starter drone because of the price and ease of use, however there's no obstacle avoidance like some of the higher models - best just to fly it carefully
You have to control it with the joysticks for normal flight, however if you use the QuickShot modes then it will fly based on a predetermined pattern without you using the remote control

I think if you're just starting out then the drone on its own will do you well and you can always buy extra batteries as you need them. If you know you'll do a lot of flying then the fly more combo bundle is probably the way to go

Hi, it doesn't unfortunately, you'd need a drone with tracking for that. The QuickShots function are only short bursts of tracking. Battery life might be an issue for filming whole games too
Fair enough, in my experience the plugs won't work if they don't like what they're powering. I'm always swapping wires and charging bricks around and haven't damaged anything yet.

Hmm maybe you have the wrong app? There's no premium on the DJI Fly App so sounds like you're trying a third party app. If you're using an android phone, make sure you download it from the DJI website.

I got the Flymore combo for 340€ usually it's 430€.
Saved 90€ straight and now I'm gonna buy care refresh for it with that money.

Has it got a gps so if you crash it someone far away you can track and find it using your phone?
It has tracking through the app, so provided the battery hasn't run out it will beep and flash until you find it.
I have the mavic mini, the battery of the dji mini 4k use the same as the mavic mini ???

Unfortunately not, FPV headsets are not compatible with the Mini 4k. I believe the Mini 3 Pro and models higher than that are headset compatible.
