Lots of little unmentioned and useful bits in this Todd, eg the little notches in the top so that it’s easy to line up with the marked centre line on the main body.
So excited for this one. I’ve become a big fan of the tele. A tele with a Sweet T kick to it is all the more stunning. You’re building up such an impressive portfolio of guitars now. Definitely found your calling in life. Well done one GGBO as well 🎉
Sanding the edge of a top on the shooting board with a sanding/leveling beam is a great idea! I might have to borrow that idea in the future. Looking great so far, brother!
I think it may be one of those guitar types that one matures into - and with the choices the basic Fender shape available in terms of pickups, ‘exotic’ woods, carves, etc that take it away from the original basic start point, it offers anything in the same shape and neck style that a guitarist could want.
@@paulneeds that's the thing I love about a tele. P90's, Humbuckers, single coils, etc. and basically any bridge or term you want and you've got a comfortable well playing instrument. By making it a set neck I feel like that takes it up a notch when it comes to player comfort as well as any tonal properties imparted by a set neck. I love it.
The more I see those stacked heals the more I know that's the way I want to go with my future neck builds!!! And my guess for Toddify this week is Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls? 😂
Looking good Todd!
Thanks for sharing!
Off to an excellent start. Beautiful wood choices. See you next time.
The neck and body are looking good Todd. Gonna be another well thought out and executed guitar from you sir.

Gotta love a set neck tele! Looking great, T!
Wow I love the neck woods on this one and that stacked heel is going to look really cool once it’s carved. The top is right up my street too!😀👍
Those wood choices are absolutely killer, but you already know my thoights on a Tele....🤣 This will be another stunner for the Sweet T Hall of Fame!
Bookmarking the heck out of this for my own neck! Lovely choice of woods Todd, she's going to be a stunner as always.
Looking really good Todd. That top is killer
