Hey Todd, just catching up with this build now (literally just binged all 10 episodes). I may have told you this before but it warrants repeating... Your ability, when selecting materials, to look at the pieces and visualise the end result, amazes me. Beautiful wood choices, striking build patterns, incredible complimentary additions; all come together to make a thing of great beauty! I think you're absolutely right to refinish the heel, too. Really looking forward to the next installment 😊
love the fret board, I know you said the fret board was not scolloped... but at some camera angles it gives the illusion that the fret board is scalloped. Very, very cool!
Yes Todd you must be happy with your result. Personally I think the heel looks stunning but if you see it can be even better with a little more effort, more power to you brother. I can't wait to see ow it looks.Peace and love
Loving it all. I never seen a glued neck tele man so cool. I know how it is to make your work perfect to yourself. So, taking it all in. It’s gorgeous….✌🏾& 💜
Todd, you have to be happy in what you are doing. You would not be the builder you are if you didn't keep questioning yourself. Perfection does not come easy my friend. Peace and love.
I too switched from CA to wood glue for frets. I did a test with 2 oversized fret slots slotted into a piece of scrap wood. Used CA on one, Titebond Original on the other. Both held tight, and felt about as equally hard to pull out. Titebond from now on for me.
This is a perfect example of why you are as good as you are already, and always getting better. You're not afraid to try something, and if you aren't happy with it, you will start it over, rather than accept it and move on. And it has always paid off for you, both with the finished result, but also with growing your knowledge and skills. And we are all lucky to watch you and learn from you on this journey my friend, always looking forward to your next video.
Nothing to apologize for Todd this is your build you do it the way to believe it should be done. also so what is it takes a bit more time you will be showing how to do something that you believe needs to be done and it will in turn show us how to do something that some where down the line that we may feels needs to be done on a build we may work on in the future.
Love your commitment to your vision! I've done and redone guitars for so many reasons. I've gotta love it or I feel compelled to fix it! I know it will drive me nuts. I love the glamour 2K. I actually find it easy to work with and produces a consistent hard and crystal surface. Glad you talked about the CA glue on the fretboard as well.... I was debating it. Awesome job Todd!
Todd you are absolutely killing it. I think is the first rosewood guitar I’ve even seen other than a fretboard. What was the impetus on you choosing rosewood? Remarkable.
I respect the commitment to sticking to your vision. Also, you may be feeling that you have been working on the guitar for a while now, but my reaction when I saw the title was “What! We’re on episode ten of this series already!?” Time surely does fly when looking forward to your videos.
It doesn't matter what's cool with us. All that matters is that you're happy with it. If the heel transition doesn't satisfy you, we all know you won't let it out the door. The veneer pinstripes look really classy.
For the record. If I was the player picking up that guitar? I would say “my God! This is one beautiful axe!” But that’s me. You gotta do what YOU gotta do! ✌🏻🇺🇸
I would say, not really. You may get away with it but in my opinion, there's just not enough gluing surface on most bolt on necks! The neck/pocket needs to be a bit deeper and longer on a set neck! Great question though!✌️&💙

Can't wait to see it finished!! It's looking great now, I'm sure it's only gonna be even better!!
I used the same method to clean my fretboard today :) !!!!
Todd, you're inspirational brother.. PERFECTION has no timeline, SATISFACTION is eternal 🎉

Once again, your attention to detail is on full display!!!

Todd, this guitar needs what you say it needs. Otherwise, it's not a Sweet T Guitar. Best things = more time.
That finish is amazing , you are a realy good insperation , thank you very much for your time and patience , i'm sure it's going to be perfect
total respect for your ethics and craftsmanship, not accepting anything less than your vision, you my man are a joy to watch
That decision is a tough one for sure, but it will come out awesome!
Good luck with the build. Looking awesome already.
This is going to be great my friend, it’s just a bit of extra time not a fix !😀👍
Man, that is SO NICE!
well thought!
Looks awesome, man.
Cool with me
Hello, can a Bolt on neck be converted to set neck?
I would say, not really. You may get away with it but in my opinion, there's just not enough gluing surface on most bolt on necks! The neck/pocket needs to be a bit deeper and longer on a set neck! Great question though!✌️&💙
@@SweetTGuitars Thank you for the response.
