- "On the weekend I had my diagnosis I came onto this my favourite beach. I walked just down there and I stamped my feet on the ground and I said 'I will be back'"
Wynne talks about his bowel cancer diagnosis and shares why his favourite beach, on the Gower Peninsula, is such a vital part of his story.
Every 15 minutes someone is diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK. That’s nearly 43,000 people every year, nearly 120 people every day. We're working towards a future where nobody dies from the disease.

What an uplifting story, well told and with a fabulous outcome. Surgery, chemo, sand and sea - unbeatable - more power and strength to you Wynne, good luck mate.
What an uplifting story godbless youx
What a brave man.i hope your well now my lovely x
I ended up with a Stoma as well however mine is pretty cool. It behaves does what it needs to do and doesn't really cause me much issue at all. it's been so nice i thought about keeping it, but the doctor says that would be irresponsible of me because it's not needed anymore. So i opted to wait a bit longer because the first surgery was such a huge blow to me. Also i want to find a surgeon who can do it better. So after having found a new surgeon and getting things ready i've scheduled kinda far out a surgery in november or december haven't decided they're just waiting on me. which will be about 10 months.
I love his accent and attitude!
Sending a cwtch from The Port.
