    Thank you very much. You are an answer from Heaven. I kept playing with the singing bowl with water, added water took away water, and added some more water. Nothing was happening. I asked God to give me understanding. I went on UA-cam but only a few used the water method. nobody had the answer. I said I am going to try this one more time and wala, you showed up. I need another mallet with felt. Thank You My Hearing Earth Angel. I am grateful.

    Hey I have a question : So I have a very small singing bowl and I added water to it but nothing. Could it be because it's too small or do you think I need another mallet? I mainly bought the singing bowl to make the water vibrate so i'm kind of bummed. Please tell me I can make the water vibrate using any bowl and that I just need a new mallet

    I have a felt mallet. But I think I need a different bowl. The one I have isn’t gold like that but painted alluminum

      "True" bowls should be made with bronze or brass like mine (or similar alloys), if your bowl is aluminum or steel colour, resonance may not be possible in this case (I do not have knowledge about it).

    Interesting but wants to know,
    What's the benefits of waves of water and how long will have to do this in daily 🤔

    • @AmigowyKojot
      @AmigowyKojot  3 роки тому +2

      Hello Raj Kumar. It depends what you intend to use it for. You can use it for meditation and of course it depends how often do you meditate. For example I use bowls with water once a week, normally I use empty bowls. With water you can change pitch of the bowl a liitle, usually it makes it sings lower tone. For me it makes the resonance more similar to my body "waves". The important thing is to avoid using fresh tap water (it may contain chlorine) because it can cause brass corossion (patina). Some people use it to moisturize the room air or simply because it look beatiful so without any other reason.

    Hi, I have the small sized singing bowl and will it still work if I change the mallet?

    • @AmigowyKojot
      @AmigowyKojot  3 роки тому +1

      Hi :) My smallest bowl is 15cm diameter and only the bigger and felt wrapped mallets works so I think when you change the mallet it should work. With the small size mallets I couldn't made any water dance even in bigger bowls. To make water dance you have to transfer the "force" with friction from mallet into the bowl material so you can create metal resonance - with bigger mallet it is easier.

    What should I do if my singing bowl is sliding around while I’m using the mallet, it’s causing my bowl to fall down a lot

    • @AmigowyKojot
      @AmigowyKojot  3 роки тому +1

      Hello Lucas, I think there are two reasons. First you need to place the bowl on the proper cushion what I mean is it have to be in proper size - matched to size of the bowl. Other thing is the cushion must be placed on solid but a little rough place - for example the table can't be as slippery as an ice rink. In my opinion the best cushions are the "donut" shaped. However in this tutorial my small bowl is on flat "pancake" shaped cushion and that also works well but the cushion material is quite coarse. Second reason is to to not use excessive force I always start with only a little force and then when bowl start to resonance add more force to make the water dance. I think with some experience you will know where is the limit. You can also see that my bowls are placed on the wooden pads but that is only for decorative reasons :)

      Some I bought with the bowls as extras and some separately. I think I bought 95% of the bowls stuff and mallets in the internet. I know sometimes they are also available in music shops or some "magic" or asian shops ;)

      Hi, this is a good question. I think my cat is quite neutral. She is sometimes a little curious regarding to the bowls or its sound. Usually she only sits behind me and chill.

    • @AmigowyKojot
      @AmigowyKojot  3 роки тому +2

      Hello Nazia Tariq, the big mallet has size 20cm height and the diameter of 4 cm. It is made from hard wood I do not know exact tree type but something similar to oak, beech or western red cedar.
