Love how delicate the chicken went into their nest box at the end

Great video. Wise words to avoid using any water, even in a British Winter. I always find that there are some areas that are difficult to reach in the coop or run. I have a child's, small metal rake. I bought this donkey's years ago in a hardware store. It's great for reaching further, underneath perches or underneath old chairs ( for perching) in the run. Especially useful as my husband and I get older!

Thank you for your kind words. Using old chairs for additional roosting space is a creative idea, how awesome! Being a backyard chicken owner often requires ingenuity. If the child's rake works, that is fabulous. It doesn't matter if it's an unconventional cleaning tool what matters is that it is effective! Thank you for sharing your experiences and for being here on the channel. I'm very glad you're here!

Great video, thank you. I also use water-based baby wipes sometimes when a bit moisture is essential.

Me too! I have done several cleans already to get my flock ready for the cold times ahead. I hope the good weather I'm enjoying will hold on just a little longer so I can do another deep clean before snow arrives. Thank you for your comments and your support! Wishing you and your flock a lovely day full of joy.
