This is memory time! My dad had a white Zephr when I was a kid the saloon version ( sedan) it was full of rust I have a picture of me as a baby holding a toy car on the front wing (fender) of it my dad sold it because of the up coming 70's fuel crisis! It was only a 4 cylinder not a 6! Lovely resto and for the time capsule.

they look better than new now, and not only because of chrome instead of silver on the front. :) I have one civilian Zephyr in almost-mint condition, and the original paintjob ain't as smooth and exact. of course, that needs time, and they were meant to be produced fast and cheap, but still...

I have restored 3 of these. The civilian car I did in metallic orange, the Police versions I did a straight restoration in white and another in black with white lettering on the bonnet naturally. I think I even bought a high quality repro box for one of the Police cars. Lovely models. I found the baseplate difficult to remove especially on the civilian estate car and it became slightly damaged. Well done as ever Paul.

Exzellente Arbeit. Zwei Modelle wieder in einen absolut sammelwürdigen Zustand versetzt. Diese Restaurierung war mehr als erfolgreich.
Besonders schön ist natürlich die zweifarbige Lackierung. Da hat sich die investierte Arbeit sehr gelohnt. Gruß, Joachim

This material is so harmful that it is not suitable for use, I used to research but on this failure and it is practically impossible. I would have to do it by milling such an interior from a new one. how to come up with a good way to definitely do it. Kind regards
