Here we go again.... The endless wait for the darn thing to upload. Sheesh, I really need to move. The internet here is awful. Worse when it rains. And its England, so that is hardly a predictable or rare occurrence. Not that I mind the rain, of course, as its good for the garden and as an Englishman I kinda find it relaxing. Very actually. IN fact its a tad odd when we come to October and its not chucking it down. I mean, I get about 6-8 months of mostly grey skies most years. And I live in the most sunny place on the English mainland. Yet still it tips it down regularly. Its one of those things. I doubt I could deal with living somewhere that has months on end of blue skies. It would do my head in. Well, I think. Every time I go away I generally hear this statement from the locals 'it is never this bad usually. Sorry its just so rare!'
Which kind of put me off going abroad if I am honest. Why bother? The food I guess. But the weather? I take it with me. Not that I mind, again I really need to underline this. Rain is lots better than a twister or earthquake, as some have to deal with. Or dangerous animals and bugs and stuff. You just don;t get them here. Which is a grace. I cannot fathom the concept of having to look around the house for dangerous stuff before going to bed and waking in the morning. Nutty. Why live there? But then, I like the quiet life these days. Adventure, heh! Excitement, heh! A Baldermort needs not these things. I am no longer reckless. :)
Right. I think its done. Finally! Not my best video ever, but I am still getting into the swing of things and the big ones are taking up a heck of a lot of head space, so apologies. I think its worth a listen though. For many do like the shorter ones as a bit of a break from the huge epics. I understand that some might think anytjhing less than 2 hours is not really an epic from me anymore, but have a heart eh? This stuff does not write or record itself and I put out on heck of a lot of minutes of this stuff a week. Now I am most definitely just ewafling to see if I can get anywhere near the 5000 letter cap. Which does seem like an awful waste of time.
I hope you have a glorious day, week, month and year. Just turn down the noise when stress starts appearing from certain quarters and only concentrate on that which is important to you. It sometimes works for me when I do it.

Hey bro if you like baldemort your gonna love “warrior tier” the voice narration is very similar but warrior tier has more of a soldiery/desperation air about him. He does a lot of short vids and it’s the only channel I’ve watched and liked every one even the ones I don’t care for as much. Also “a vox in the void” is an awesome channel my favorite one is his 40k “all the gods are dead” it’s amazing and there’s 3 parts and all are equally awesome.

His story lines have a direct feel of what can happen on the table-top compared to the usual tired tropes.
Other authors always have the Imperium save the day with a decisive victory. Usually with a each Marine killing a hundred chaos cultists or gene-stealers with ease.

Aside from that, I've got to say that i really like how much you focus on the ordinary boots on the ground folk in your tales. It's easy to talk of mighty supersoldiers doing legendary feats, but the ordinary unremarkable soldier needs their (often horribly desperate) tales told. And you bring forth their desperation wonderfully.
Tyranids are beasts of apocalyptic proportions in general and when powerful psyker abilities are added...

The Malifactors, Hive Tyrants, Norn Queen, and such are the only dificult Tyranids when playing Death Watch. Not as hard as Necron Lords, Lych Guard, Greater Demons, C'tan shards and such but they usually are more numerous so it makes for a challenge.

I know it would still sense stuff near it, but without any sensory bugs to support, it seems like it would only be effective in close range.
That being said, isolating any single bug in the swarm would be hard enough without one of these in the mix.

The stuff you said at the end got me thinking…what if the Tyranids have an unseen specimen that emits this “forgetfulness” much like how a false hydra (from dnd) operates?
So if I've understood this correctly, the Maleceptors are pulling the same trick as the Saints - or Saints-to-be - of the Imperium (e.g. when Gulliman got a massive assist from _that_ young girl vs Mortarion and the Death Guard).
I.e. They _channel_ the physhic energy of their more psychicly talented master.
If so, that's actually crazy, because that surely means the Necrons are no longer a hard-counter to them, no?
When it comes to "non-human" entities/living creatures I enjoy ones that has high intelligence but the Maleceptor takes it to the extreme and honestly I absolutely love it 😀 definitely wanna get myself a model of the Maleceptor. Big brain 🧠 bug that also has muscular body uses both brute strength 💪 and intelligence with psyker power!

I think the Zone of Silence is actually one of the more effective means of combating Tyranids. The Silent King might be the only one actually taking the fight to them.
The zone quells all psychic activity, and the control of the hive mind is one big giant psychic activity. Silence the warp, you silence the hive mind.
There's now a giant no-go zone for the tyranids.
Furthermore we don't know how fast this thing works. The hivemind would be foolish to commit the actual command and control nodes to a battle if it can be avoided. There's probably hive ships doing the bulk of the processing for hivemind lurking in interstellar space. The relatively expendable hive fleets probably shuttle back biomass to fuel them. But here the Silent King may have a way to strike at them. Just blank out everything for light years around. Might be able to catch a few nodes and rip them out of the hive mind.
