Awesome POV, thanks for posting! It looks like it is also running a little sluggish compared to when I went the next day. It is also interesting with the new control system and how different it now is and how it is more modern. This used to be my number 1 woodie but now it falls to 2 behind toro. It was better in 2008-2014 when it was smoother and ran two trains more and before it crashed. I have been going here for 15 years! I also hope they add the second train soon it is sitting right next to the station and hopefully the new controls help running both as well.
BOulder Dash has always been and will always be a top 10 wooden coaster. Also people who think the beast is a better terrain coaster... please seek help!
I went to all the six flags and this is the greatest wood coaster. I still have a hard time understanding how I was able to ride this coaster, but apparently to fat for EL TORO at great adventure. literally removed from the ride because of my weight. still clueless why if I can ride this one.
This coaster is great, best one in Connecticut btw, but it was so much greater with the triple up. GCI could've retracked that back in too. That would make this thing 11 out of 10
Yeah not a fan of unrealistic POVs. Between the rails, horizon lock, is all bullshit to me. We LOVED this thing, definitely worth the hype. 🤙🏽 and thank you as always.🥃
Hot damn! Boulder Dash looks like it's running fantastic. Such interesting transitions and elements. Simple. You can see the park has done a ton of tweaking to it over the years with their retracking. Who do they hire? Or does park retrack in house?
@@EastCoasters Right on. Yeah, doesn't look super smooth, old school basic shaping and transitions. But interesting ride non the less. Yeah ,woodies are a hit and miss for me. It's a real risk for ruining my day riding one. Most of them literally rattle my brain inside my skull and give me crazy headaches. Just all the random vibrations. Great video man.
What a Beautiful Ride! The engineering required to bring this ride to reality must have been nightmarish. I’d love to see RMC do a facelift on this ride. Sooner or later it’s going to be too ruff to ride. I’d leave the layout EXACT. Just replace the Tracks
Hahahah I mean it in absolutely the best way possible I love Dash more than any coaster in the world because it's the only one that truly scares me while riding you feel positive you're flying off the tracks lmao but yeah wildcat is just a good laugh I'll say that lol don't care for it my home old wooden coaster is the Dragon Coaster at Playland I love it compared to that!! Dragon Coaster is low key better than Cyclone too but it's close
I do not know what about this specific pov is different, but it really makes me feel like I'm in the train more than any other pov I've seen.
We don’t mount cameras to the trains. That takes away the airtime feel.Slight change of angles here & there.🤌🏽🥃
Love that ride! Who else loves the sound of the lift hill?
Especially if it is a PTC train
@@johnfoltz8183I agree completely. It just sounds old and right.

Thanks Gabe! Make sure you’re subscribed. And I totally agree & was wondering when that train was going to be installed 🤷🏻♂️🥃
@@EastCoasters just did!
This looks like soooo much fun
This roller coaster is so good but it's starting to hurt more and more every year lol
Looks really fast and fun!

Omg looks fun and scary at the same time
This thing is a beauty 😍
@@EastCoasters especially at night! Can't beat it!

Yeah I feel like the triple-up really added to the end of the ride more than what they have now.
Man it’s fun but I just hurt my back today on it, I’m fine now but damn that coaster is rough
Finally a clear POV of BD. No Bullshit POV channel. Love it.
How is this coaster ? This things gets high praise ::

I’m not sure what the process is but the first train of 2021 felt very cool. Rough enough for a woodie but it hauled!

@@jonny-b4954 I feel you in that! And thanks so much man make sure you’re subscribed. Way more coming 🥃
Alan Schilke designed the ride’s new double up
Best coaster ever!!!!!!
Worst coaster ever!
How rough was it?
How tall is this compared to Cyclone in SFNE?
Bout 15 feet taller. The cyclone at SFNE is 105 feet after it was converted to Wicked Cyclone. Boulder Dash is almost 120
Damn it! I really wanted to ride it at the haunted graveyard but it was closed because of all the rain :(
I rode this thing when it still had the triple up. That element would pretty much throw you right out of your seat.
Why do you have the best povs??? I’m genuinely confused
Thank you man, just saw this. Make sure your subbed for WAY more craziness 🥃
I NEED a night ride on this asap
Same here!🥃🤙🏽
Me too
This is at my home park yet I have some how never gotten a night ride on it
I do night rides with a worker
Been forever since I went on this ride
Gotta do it again 🥃

No coaster makes me pray for mercy like the dash
Lmao I can see that but I hear wildcat in the same park is an atrocity

They need to upgrade it to steel. Not comfortable at all.
They did this year
@@EastCoasters Are you serious? I heard nothing about that. Wow
Yup, the drop and a few long sections are now titan track by GCI.
This is the worst coaster ever, and I’m a coaster enthusiast!
Never heard that sentence before.. Boulder Dash is praised for being rough, but an awesome ride.
Best coaster ever I do it every summer
Did you notice any retracking?
Before the drop, the drop itself, and parts of the last turnaround 🤌🏽
