Car looks mint now. I'm pleased to see Evolve have such with MSS, obviously a great product. Interesting to see the evolution too with the rubber sleeve over the spring which I assume is to stop it rubbing the powder coat off? 👍🏻

Looks good - I agree a drop of approx 25-30mm makes this car still retain a "stock" look & feel, and keeps it pretty useable at least where I live. I'm interested when I receive my M xDrive as long as reviews confirm that ride quality & handling characteristics remain unchanged. I'm sure you guys ship to the U.S. right?
Why does he loosen the lug bolts by hand instead of just gunning them off but then starts the bolts when putting the wheel on with the gun immediately?? Is there some secret to not crossthreading these bolts that I just don’t know?
I asked Aston, this was his reply: A few reasons I guess, 1: You should never use a gun on locking wheel bolts because it can damage the locking key. So because I always crack those by hand, I may aswell crack the rest of the bolts while I'm there (to save swapping between the bar and the gun). 2: My gun isnt powerful enough to undo really tight bolts. 3: If the socket isnt completely snug to the bolt it can round it. Using a gun you can't feel if it's going to round it, but using a bar you can get a feel for it. 4: If the bolt is really really tight, the instant impact from a powerful gun can snap the bolt. I gun them in because again my gun isn't too powerful that it over torques the bolts, but powerful enough to pull the wheel flush to the hub
@@EvolveAutomotive thank you so much for the reply bro. I'll keep point 1 in mind. I always use a torque wrench to tighten my wheel bolts and I do it myself so my impact can always take them off. I spent a week drilling and retapping the hubs on both sides of my front axle and dieing the mushroomed bolts because of the idiot that put the wheels on last. after that experience I dont take any chances with lug bolts. liked the video anyhow, thanks for taking the time to reply.
Any lower and the handling will begin to degrade as the damper goes out of range, MSS spend a lot of time figuring this out for each car. Rear spats will come out, but we want to test spacer/ride height with them in at first to be able to properly advise customers who have them in.
Great video,I could only imagine the time spent and energy to make one like this. But What’s you guys measurement for the fronts and back mm wise exactly cause I don’t want mine really low, thanks!
Sits lovely especially with the spacers 👌 lowering the car would change the geometry so 4 wheel alignment would improve it even more thats if you haven’t already done so?
That's great thank you for replying I see you sell them for the rs3... I will be getting a 2018 rs3 by the end of the year so was just wondering if you would fit them as well.
The car looks great lowered. Like you said the challenge was to not ruin the excellent PERFORMANCE that BMW engineered into the car. You won’t really know how the ultimate handling is affected without doing before and after timings on a track.
An improvement but still not quite there. A staggered set of 20/21 inch wheels are required to complete the look as you have proved on your M5. I am sure they are not to far away lol. Keep up the great content Guys \"/

You adjust it by turning, similar to the rear. You can set it before install or adjust when on the car

Yes, but you do not want the same gap front-rear, typically we go 10-15mm more gap on the rear for a balanced look depending on car

It’s a shame when a front license plate makes the front look a tad bit better.
The rear needs to drop by another 1cm , looks like it’s driving downhill lol
