Today's youtuber gen z or millennial. Barely afford one nice sports car that you don't even know how to properly drive and don't track it or suck at tracks, and all your mods are for straight line performance only which you'll 100% crash without AWD, or with stability control off, but decide to make a youtube channel entirely because of 1 car purchase and somehow those who can't afford it subscribe and imagine owning it through you. I can't stand this. So you bought a car congrats. If I did the same thing back in 2014, with the new M4, 2016 huracan, 2017 gt3rs, 2019 m2 comp, 2020 z4 m40i, 2023 760i, I'd have a gazillion subs, but it's too braggy and insecure to think you can have a youtube career because you have a certain car, and for me, all my cars aren't even 5% of what I can afford every month. Your girlfriend will DEFINITELY get annoyed and tired by you focusing so much on your 1 car. Good luck
@David T thanks for taking time out of your day to leave your two cents. You have no idea on what I do or anything about me. What I'm doing on here is documenting my journey with my car and I found a passion with making videos. My wife actually supports my passion. Its sad that you think there's people out there who can't find someone else that will supports their passion. Have a good night pal
@@TheDailyDriven congrats. Pal. But not for long. No wife wants to be second fiddle to a car. Make some videos where she's driving. Or some vacation videos where she drives. I'm giving you some top advice to ensure you don't have even the slightest issues. Put more emphasis on her make the channel half way about her input as well. Idk how long or when you got married, I did at age 21 ans nearly 10 years, but these things matter and slowly affect wives even if they don't tell you. I suggest you heed my advice and preemltively avoid these situations. Good luck
Ken, Thank you for another great video! There were parts of this video I appreciated very much. - it was short, sweet, and to the point - you went into detail about the spacers - Good call on waiting for the alignment I was wondering, if you knew anyone with the Xdrive that had the same setup or in your experience would this setup work just the same with the Xdrive? Thanks brotha! Keep'em coming!!
Thank you Jimmy! You're very kind and much appreciated it. I'm glad to be able to put quality content on this platform. I've seen this setup on X-Drives with no problems. My coilovers are still on order so it'll be very interesting on seeing how they compare.
What an amazing setup. I've been following your channel and love how the G80 is growing. I am dreaming to get my own G80 one day before H80 and the manual is gone.
Thank you! I think in a few months when you see some of these other very interesting changes I think it'll grow on you even more. Haha. I totally agree the h80 will definitely not be a manual unfortunately
@@TheDailyDriven it has grown on me already. Just for the lowering springs and the spacers with the setup you currently have. That would be a 99.99% perfect for me. If I were to order one. It would be exactly like yours.
New subscriber here, great channel bro. Im torn between these ASTS or KW coils. The issue with KW is they told me today they dont have them for my 2024 M4 competition xdrive yet...i thought the 2023 ones would fit just fine? The whip looks beautiful man.
Thanks for checking out the channel! Yeah it's tough decision. I actually might be getting my coilovers in December so I might be able to give a full review on that.
Hey Ken, did you end up trimming any of the plastic fins in the front fender liner after lowering it? I’m curious as to if that worked or if going with the IND replacement liner is the way to go. Thanks
Yes what I end up doing was cutting the slots out, which has no problem so far with rubbing. But I do want to protect it by retrofitting something else in there. The IND replacement ones are good but just cost way too much
@@TheDailyDriven Gotcha. Yeah the replacement liners do look solid but are pricey for bolt on plastic with little engineering. I may mod the liners myself, or consider the IND ones. Just gotta weight the costs and protection. Thanks for your feedback 👊🏼
instead of trimming and cutting your plastic, i have seen the guys at R44 mold there inner plastic with a simple 2x4 .they have a video on there page as well
Yes I'm definitely going to go with coilovers. I still have them on order but have no idea when they are coming in. Springs are definitely for a specific type of buyer and so are coilovers. I'll make a future video about that later on
I trimmed the inner Fender when I threw on the spaces the first time. It wasn't enough, I've always heard it rub when I backed out of the garage while I turned. I'll showcase how it looks when I throw on the new wheels. Which should be coming hopefully soon fingers crossed
Hey Ken, been following you for some time. Any plans for another NY invasion? I live like 10 min from Bear Mtn. 🤣 so I'd love to see another cruise! Keep up the great work
I still say that from your install vid it looked like Marlin did your final suspension torques at an unsprung position which will cause premature bushing wear.
I think this is what I am going to do rather than coil overs. Of course I don’t know if I’ll win the tire lottery but do you think I should look into a different option if I happen to get the Michelins? I’ll prob go with a 12/15 setup to try to avoid rubbing etc.
I have this horrible habit of picking up speech patterns - I can tell you this!! Lol Jk - fire content as always bro the car looks amazing. I got to build up the courage to lower mine.

My M4 G82 Comp. RWD have the Michelin P4S with H&R and Powertech 12.5mm spacers all round and i am very happy no noise and scraps at the moment :)
I am so hyped to see the wheels!!!
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Fantastic video, she looks even better as you stated - she's settled a bit more. Can't wait to see the new wheels!
It definitely settled some more. The ride height is absolutely amazing. I can't wait to get the new set of wheels on
How does it ride with the new springs?
I want to let it marinate a few before I give a accurate opinion but so far so good 👍🏻
Any way of seeing the exact trimmed up pieces if you can thanks
Ill be sure to showcase that in a future video. 👍🏻
@@TheDailyDriven thank you
That rear 3/4 is so amazing- can’t wait to see if you change the grill and get a lip that will be chef’s kiss
We'll see..there's going to be some interesting changes this spring / summer.
Great job on lowering the M. It looks really good and purposeful when driving everywhere. Good info and great video!!!! Great advice, thanks again
Thanks for checking out the video 🙏🏻. Hoping the coilovers come in sometime this spring to give a good comparison 🤘🏻
Drop looks phenomenal bro!! Wheels are just gonna tie it all together 🔥👏🏽
Wheels are almost here 🤞🏻
That thing is sittin perfect 👌
Going to get even better soon 🤘🏻
Love these videos man. Thanks for the content.
More to come! Thank you very much for taking the time to check out the videos 📹
Great insight on this video when it comes to proper installation, any sort of suspension can make any kind of noise, if not installed properly.

Few more months and will be putting in for an allocation on a 2023. New subscriber and will def be using vids like this to get some mod ideas.
Nice ! Pre-welcome to the G8x Community 🤘🏻. Thank you for subscribing and appreciate you checking out the channel
love the review of the AST springs but can't wait for the mods process this will the cleanest and badass imola red G80 in the world!!!!
New shoes coming in real soon! This is about to get epic 🤘🏻
Man those B roll shots 😍
Got more coming 🤘🏻🤘🏻🍻

@TheDailyDriven great bro I'll look for it. 🙏👊
@@TheDailyDrivenI'm pulling the trigger bro lol. Mines has the Michelins 🙏 let's see
I’m considering getting the KW adjustable setup on my 23 M4
That's another popular option. Just know that some people have complained about the front not being low enough.
What’s your camera setup??? Awesome visuals…
Thank you. What you saw was a combination of Sony A7siii + Tamron 28 to 70 and for the cinematics
Did you have any issues with ast springs during the time you had them and how long?
Great vid bro, im still unsure if i wanna lower my g80, but im tempted after this vid, o and i did win the tire lottery! Michelins!!😄
Nice, congrats on the Michelins! Lowering the car makes it look so good !

That's a decent method for sure 👌🏻
Is there a new part number for the version 2 springs so you can tell you have the revised ones?
Any updates on the ride quality compared to oem?
I will be doing a full video on this subject soon after the Japan vlogs.
Is your plan still to go coilover? I'm concerned with premature wear on my shocks with just lowering springs.
Yes I'm definitely going to go with coilovers. I still have them on order but have no idea when they are coming in. Springs are definitely for a specific type of buyer and so are coilovers. I'll make a future video about that later on
Can you show pictures of what your liners look like after the mods?
Edit: I used H&R springs but I have the rub when reversing.

He did not discuss the ride quality differences. Can you let me know how the H&R set up rides? I am thinking H&R is a more creditable company.
What you think about BMW new M3 CS and can you do a video on it
I might mention it in a video but I have a lot of other videos to scheduled to be filmed in the meantime.
Hey Ken, been following you for some time. Any plans for another NY invasion? I live like 10 min from Bear Mtn. 🤣 so I'd love to see another cruise! Keep up the great work
Much appreciated 🤘🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Nothing planned as of yet. I know we like to concentrate one event at a time. But we'll see
Awesome video, do you think it would be safe to track the G80 with AST springs + Spacers ?
I still say that from your install vid it looked like Marlin did your final suspension torques at an unsprung position which will cause premature bushing wear.
I'll bring that up to Marlon when I see him next time and see what he says

I noticed that when I was editing..i was like damn lol
Let us know how the ride quality is?
Yes absolutely. Letting it marinate some more to give a better understanding on how it feels 🤘🏻
Michelin pissed all this German brands over something lol, even Porsche has Perelli and good year on 911’s. my 992 came with Perelli and it sucks
I can't wait to get the new wheels, they're going to be mounted on some michelins
