Introducing the Security Section in GeoServer and Defining Users, Groups, and Roles

GeoServer has a robust security subsystem. Most of the security features are available through the web administration interface. In the Security panel, you can find links to set user properties and bind data to security rules. The basic idea is that you create users, roles and combine them with data to enable specific access policies. You can also limit read and write access by role. In this session, we want to talk about the Security section in GeoServer, such as changing the default password, defining users, groups, and roles, and granting rights to created users.

How can I disable the Security module for a non administrator user, I need all the modules except the security module?

is there any way we can secure WMTS service, Which is not available in the service dropdown list.

I haven't encountered this situation before, so I asked the GeoServer developers for assistance. Here's their suggestion:
Enable the "Data Security" option found on the "Caching defaults" page and follow the link below: "docs.geoserver.org/main/en/user/geowebcache/config.html#geoserver-data-security"
