I can single pin pick just fine, but I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to open a lock with no success using the lishi. It's really hard to control the counter-rotation of the cylinder to allow the pin to fall into place when your tension wrench and pick are attached to eachother.
Edit: nvm got it. Don't rely on counterrotation of the cylinder. Just use less tension. I don't find it easier to tell which pin is binding with this tool yet, but I can still open a lock quicker. These are fun, but probably won't replace my standard tools at this point.

My lishi keeps getting caught on something between 2 and 3 I gotta release all tension to move past that point and it becomes impossible for me because all the pins drop I've been trying for days and keep getting caught

@@choymyth713some leeche picks are meant for certain brands of locks. The Kwik set version may not work on Shlege (spelling) brand from what I've seen. That's why they got many different ones. Works on cars too. But u need a pick for Honda's, then one for Ford's, then a lichee for Mercedes-Benz etc. Some models like Ford Lincoln mercury lichee covers those 3 brands of cars to open. Theres a GMC lichee that will open any GMC vehicle. I don't think there's a ONE LICHEE to pick them all per se

I cut a piece of aluminum off a piece of flashing, bent a small finish nail for the tension, ran the piece of aluminum in and out a couple of times and it turned. did both a passage and dead bolt in less than a minute and a half. Tried it later on the Schlage at home and it wasn't nearly as easy.

Really smart people have gone to the next level and not count on locks.... it's on the low end of protection...
Such as motion detection, video in 3 different or more angles floor pins..door leavers...etc etc etc..as well as stop measures in case a breach is made...
And they may spend from 400-4,000 to guard family and property.....
You're mind is your only limit.
    God bless you all....

I have been practicing with my Schlage lock. It has been behaving strangely and I’m not sure what’s happening.
The lock turns in both directions but only unlocks clockwise. When applying tension clockwise, I was always able to bind the first pin and clearly hear a click, but the other pins felt very loose no matter how much tension was applied, and they never bind.
When applying tension counterclockwise, I was able to bind every pin and hear clicks along the way. Most of the time, however, the lock didn’t turn even when all pins were set. I did make sure to apply little tension. So far, I’ve only succeeded 3 times counterclockwise, although it doesn’t open the lock. Technically I am only supposed to practice clockwise, but I never succeed that way. Doing it counterclockwise didn’t make it open, but it provided some feedbacks for the very least.

I am very grateful for this video and I need some help from anyone who can offer it. I recently bought one of these, my first, and the problem is that it will not fit in any lock I try it on (it is too big).. In the video it is labeled SC1, mine is labeled CY24.2. I wonder is mine too big and I should try to get a smaller size? If so, how would I know what a smaller size is? I look forward to someone responding to my questions! Thank you.

It's either a locksmith payed to unlock each of them in hopes to find them or buy something to unlock them all myself. My question is will this work for all the locks?
