@@СлаваФилиппов-щ4ч The theme is the same but played differently. Listen to them back to back to back, FO3, 4, and NV. 3 is more militaristic and foreboding due to the heavier focus on the Brotherhood as a faction. New Vegas has more of a western twang to it due to the western style of the setting, being in Vegas and the Mojave. FO4's is more somber at first, shifting to a more hopeful note as it progresses. All three games share the same theme but do them in different styles. The Elder Scrolls games do the same thing with Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim having the same theme but in a different style: Morrowind's alien sounding theme fitting the strangeness of exploring Vvardenfell Island, Oblivion's grander sweeping score for the exploration of the capital province at the height of Imperial power, and the epic Nordic sounds and lyrics of Skyrim's version due to the player fulfilling an ancient Nordic prophecy and becoming a legendary warrior. As with Fallout, the music is the same in each game but the style and feeling is different in each entry.

They never did make the Fallout theme as a recurring theme in the show unlike other video game adaptations. So when it’s played you know it’s only for special moments and it just automatically gives you the chills

I actually like the show, but that rhymes.
:")
This scene almost brought a tear to my face I dunno why. Nostalgia I guess
When i see this scene, a flashback of all my journey in Fallout 4 plays on my head
Like that kick in the head...
Holy shit, I loved this scene. It gave me goosepumps and flashbacks, when I first played Fallout 3 on the XBOX 360
NCR needs a comeback in the franchise
I refuse to believe it's all gone I mean supposedly they were a million strong you cant tell me all those people up and disappeared like what? No possible way
I believe the story going to be lucy rebuild ncr for her mother and the wastelanders.
@@davidkrapensits4367 In New Vegas literally everyone in the game not NCR could see it was a nation that's about to Implode from their own hubris, they were stretched so thin basic raider gangs posed a challenge for them.
The Nuking of Sandy Shores was just the straw that broke the camel's back, thanks to Hank and Vault-Tec.
Also, they show the Fall of Shady Sands only, meaning there's certainly still very much an NCR left.
It's like Nuking DC, sure the US would be in shambles as it tries to rebuild it's atomized congress but there would still be a US to begin with.
Not happening. Todd and emil have a have boner for Fnv and a fetish for the bos
U see ncr rangers in the show. They again play the fallout theme then too
Literally made me tear up. Just all the good childhood memories came bcak.
Legitimately cried seeing this. Brought me back to a much simpler time in my life
Such an amazing scene! Hearing that theme again brought back so many great memories!
My jaw dropped the second that theme played.
This is basically saying that the dream of rebuilding still lives on.
I watched this show with tangential knowledge of Fallout and even I went like "oh, damn" when the NCR flag was revealed with the Fallout 3/4 theme.
Chills down my spine. Just wanted to check if this (ofc not) didnt go unnoticed. I love this theme song so much
I legit got goosebumps when the theme came on. I was so scared this show was gonna flop but it turned out to be so good that was faithful to the lore.
the scene gave me goosebumps, the theme for fallout 4 was so powerful
Heroic

I love her big eyes 😍
She really has pretty eyes ❤
Apparently Vault-Tec's lights resulted in hyperthyroidism.... 😒
My dad kept making fun of her eyes when we were watching the show 😂

I'm a 26 year old man and I started smiling and giggling like a little girl when I watched this scene the first time. I have 100s of hours in New Vegas. My heart will always be in the Mojave.
The minuteman theme also played in the end credits of one of the episodes (probably the one where thaddeus leaves) and in that same episode while theyre talking at the radio station
I loved that reference. Because I spent in-game days listening to that stupid fiddle waiting for the Castle quest to progress
Got goosebumps when I heard the theme
Ahhhh the music, i'm crying
Gave me chills, they got the sounds from the game perfect
I'm currently replaying FO4 and i ain't gonna lie, i almost shed a tear when i heard the theme.
The song is listed as “fallout 4 them”. I’m not sure why it’s being debated. It even has the piano and orchestral beginning it had.
I love how they reserve the Fallout theme just for the NCR. I’m a big fan, as I almost always side with the NCR in New Vegas.
This right here is fan service
No. It is a fan disservice to get all the lore wrong at every possible opportunity

Should have been the New Vegas theme song considering it's literally the NCR flag
I don’t see much of the difference, it’s the same theme from fallout 3
New vegas did not invent NCR. By this logic it should be fallout 2 theme, or fallout 1 if you count ending slides
@@HjkryanOG fallouts 1 and 2 did not have orcestra themes it was the 90's and Fallout was a side project with little resources that turned into a massive sucess. The music in fallouts 1 and 2 are just ambient.
The NV theme might as well be the NCR's theme since it plays when you load up the game with an NCR ranger in their armor in the background.
@@ethanduncan1646 fair enough. It would have been nice for the NCR to get an official anthem though
I got so emotional and cried during this scene. Hits so hard especially with Fallout 4 theme.. i wonder if sole survivor is alive too
I have a feeling that the NCR isn’t gone.
I've never played a fallout game, but as soon as I got to this part, I instantly recognized the theme. Think I'm gonna pick up a few of the games
The Fallout 4 theme hit me so hard. It’s like my home for gaming. I’ve done like eight playthroughs.
That version of the theme is from Fallout 3, which you should absolutely go back and play.
I lost my mind when I watched this. Really hope the show visits elements from fallout NV in some way in season 2
by the loooks of it
maybe second season will be sett in new vegas
With the way this show handled the canon of the franchise, believe me, you don't want it anywhere near the masterpiece New Vegas was.
@@danieldimov8625 oh get over it. new vegas fans are so pretentious get over yourself, theyre going to go to new vegas whether you like it or not.
@@TheIronMelon Play it someday, you might like it :D
@@danieldimov8625I’ve played New Vegas. It confirmed my belief that it wasn’t a masterpiece.
This is where real Fallout fans cried
*The only time we hear the classic fallout theme is when we see something related to the ncr.*
I swear, musical cameos/references are so underrated I sometimes enjoy them more than character cameos, like I got full body chills watching this and I've never even played the games. I feel like using music like this shows so much more respect to the fans than if there was just some character crossover, like it doesn't overstay it's welcome, or derail the plot, it's just the sheer emotional weight of a series that's been really important to a lot of people for a really long time.
This scene and when I heard Inon Zur's F4 theme gave me chills and joy! This show is everything 💛
They never did make the Fallout theme as a recurring theme in the show unlike other video game adaptations. So when it’s played you know it’s only for special moments and it just automatically gives you the chills
I knew it right away! Havint played fallout in so long... Downloading now 😊
This has been the Fallout theme song since 2008, but yes, it was awesome to hear his in the show. Def got goosebumps
I reminded and rewatched this scene just to hear the theme. It was honestly a good moment to put it in due to the series history and how important the NCR is for longtime fans.
Do you think some Mojave troops came back to Shady Sands and finally got the Nuclear Winter they always wanted?
I was responding to a text and then I suddenly hear this playing so naturally I look over and then she's looking at a damn NCR flag! I got instant chills. This show really got the vibe of Fallout right
Hank may have cut off the head of the bear
But it still has one left
The Republic will return
I’m real surprised they didn’t use the new Vegas theme for that, since it was the NCR flag and that’s the NCR’s most recent and most popular game
This scene genuinely made me tear up with emotion, as someone who's pretty much grown with the fallout games, hearing this theme in live action made me tearful with joy.
Saw this screamed like a girl and my wife "omg whats wrong with you" . Told her i love you but you just dont get it
Gave me goosebumps when I heard that. For the creator saying he didn't intend to please the fans of the game, he _sure_ did a great job pleasing fans of the game.
You know what they say......
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
Seeing west coast and east coast fallout join forces in this scene is really…awesome. Like I for real never thought this would happen. Badass.
I got chills when I heard the theme. Its such a good theme. Makes me feel like there's hope out there in the wastes for rebuilding society.
My heart belongs to fallout
im with you
I hope we get to see Caesar’s legion and their brutal ways in season 2
Hearing that sound gave me chills. I was unable to finish FO4 for one reason or another--maybe I should finally go back to it.
You should
@@Badbhoys I want to--but everytime I think about it, I remember the horridly implemented base-building and Preston Garvey.
I know mods can take care of those; you know a good list?
@@crypto66 to be honest I usually just ignore Preston all together, then i just go to a place I actually want a base and just spend maybe an hour building it 🙂
@@crypto66 If you're interested in trying Fallout 4 again but want a different experience then the best mod at the moment is probably Sim Settlements 2. It's a huge mod that, at its core, fundamentally changes the way that the settlement mechanics work but also adds new fully voiced main and faction quest lines. Its genuinely impressive and a great way to freshen up, and streamline, the whole rebuilding the wasteland experience.
If you don't want to deal with settlements at all I'm less familiar with those kind of mods, although the get rid of Preston ones are unsurprisingly common. However, off the top of my head the Conqueror Expansion for the original Sim settlements mod might be of interest. It allows you to start the game with most of the settlements on the map already built, so you can interact with them without having to build them yourself. Hopefully that's of some help and if you are curious about these Kinggath, the mod author of Sim settlements, has a UA-cam channel under the same name that explains all of his mods much better than I could.
@@crypto66 Oh, although fair warning. There is apparently going to be a big update on the 25th (the promised Next-Gen patch) for Fallout 4 that will probably break things for a few days so your best bet is to either start now and set the game not to update/ copy the current .exe file so you can keep the current version after the 25th or wait until a few days after the 25th when most mod authors will have had a chance to update their files.
Edit to add my first comment since UA-cam seems to have eaten it:

I am envious of this lore and editing 20/10
I can't accept that creators just destroyed the NCR like that! One of the most powerful factions in the history of Fallout, with lots of cities, laws, army, ideology! And creators just destroyed it in a blink of an eye! That's not right!
You know the USA was destroyed the same way in this universe, right?
@@chacharealsmooth941 I don't think that's the right comparing. Destruction of the US is the basis of this universe, while development of NCR is a huge part of post war West. We saw this faction growing for 3 games! And after all of this they tell us that NCR was destroyed by one guy, by one single bomb?
@@gladiatorone9023 I guess that's appropriate to this universe. We know that there were at least some similar projects on a smaller scale that suffered the same fate.
@@gladiatorone9023 Makes sense to me, the NCR fell just the same as other fallout factions and pre-war nations. The entire theme of Fallout is that war never changes dude.
@@ScantaniouslyCombust it would make more sense, if NCR died during a war with worthy opponent, like the Legion. But no, NCR was just blown up by some random guy with a nuke! All this story about Vault-tech destroying developing societies, whole countries, makes every faction insignificant!
