Great top 5! Lewis & Max are in a different league, but they didn't face the never-ending adversities that Perez had in 2020. I think sainz has had a mega season to have such an unlucky first half and coming back to finish 6th in the championship is pretty incredible in my opinion
Agree on the Top 5, pretty sure I agree with the order too... maybe swap Gasly and Danny Ric? I don't really know what I would change to be honest. Great list. HMs : Leclerc, Sainz, Norris.
Carlos Sainz finished 6th this season. It's the same spot as last season but he has outscored himself this year. What's more interesting is the fact that this season had 4 fewer seasons compared to last. Despite this,Sainz still managed to overhaul his points tally from last season. Yet again, like last season he's gone under the radar. Barely anyone talks about his performance this season. He is criminally underrated. With more emphasis on the word criminal
Driver of the year for me isnt on the grid but has 10 points actually ... its Hülkenberg! He did an incredible job just going out there and getting some points without having any preperation!
Some of his collisions were unnecessary and he threw away the podium at Turkey so I could only go 7th with Charles Leclerc this year. Carlos Sainz had an underrated year I feel.
Can't believe more people aren't mentioning Russel. Prior to him standing in for lewis most could recognize he was talented and consistent but it would be hard to justify to anyone putting him in a top 5. The fight he took to the field against ridiculous odds with the bunk pitstop and puncture in a Mercedes proved he absolutely deserves a spot in the top 5
My top 5: 1. Sergio perez. pretty much a flawless season for him. 2. Max verstappen. He had a bad race in turkey which is why he is second for me, but the rest of the season was pretty much incredible 3. Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton had a solid season like always, but I feel like he missed out on more points than number 1 and 2. He had no competition this year so he had to win the title, but it was still a dominant display from him. (Turkey was simply incredible) 4. Daniel Ricciardo. Great season in arguably the 4th best car. He ended p5 outperforming everyone he should have outperformed and had a solid season in my opinion. 5. Pierre Gasly. Got demoted, but didn’t let that affect him mentally for this season. He did pretty well in qualifying and was usually in a top 10 position in the 6th best car on the grid (i think it’s the 6th best car anyway). The end of the season was good, but not amazing. That’s why he’s slightly below daniel for me
I think it was the first race, Checo pitted for tires kinda for no reason and I was worried about the season. I think the brake penalties were kinda dumb but whatever, the real killer was lance giving up after getting the seat confirmed and the team strategizing ways to lose Perez's podiums. Also a big shame that he got 2 engine failures and one win in his last 3 races. What a win though, last to first after taking a collision and on an old engine. I'm glad red bull is going with him over albon I hope he gets the car working for him instead of 3 years of drivers who can't drive.

1st - Lewis Hamilton (7-time champ, Broke race win record, Sensational season again)
2nd - Sergio Perez (4th in Championship, A win and multiple podiums)
3rd - Charles Leclerc (Preformed miracles in a shitty Ferrari)
4th - Pierre Gasly (Won in an Alpha Tauri)
5th - George Russell (Many Q2 appearances in a Williams, Great performance in the Mercedes at Shakir)
Runner Up - Max Verstappen (Best season yet in his F1 Career)
Before even watching, here’s my top 5:
Hamilton, Verstappen, Leclerc, Ricciardo, Perez in no particular order
Russel & Gasly are my honorable mentions
Aldas is one of the best F1 speakers. Tommof1 should learn from him.
I think sainz has had a mega season to have such an unlucky first half and coming back to finish 6th in the championship is pretty incredible in my opinion
My top 5 has been
Hamilton
Verstappen
Perez
Gasly
Riccardo
Segio simply walks the walk and doesn't have to talk the talk. His driving does all the talking.
I cant put them in order but
Riccardo
Gasly
Perez
Russell
Hulkenberg
Max Verstappen, Sains and Norris get my honorable mentions
In my opinion:
1. Lewis
2. Max
3. Checo
4. Charles
5. Daniel
Yesss agree with this man.
Driver of the year for me isnt on the grid but has 10 points actually ... its Hülkenberg! He did an incredible job just going out there and getting some points without having any preperation!
I think leclerc is top 3
Absolutely amazing video and I agree with all of your explanations
Some of his collisions were unnecessary and he threw away the podium at Turkey so I could only go 7th with Charles Leclerc this year. Carlos Sainz had an underrated year I feel.
I agree with this man spitting some objective facts
Can't believe more people aren't mentioning Russel. Prior to him standing in for lewis most could recognize he was talented and consistent but it would be hard to justify to anyone putting him in a top 5. The fight he took to the field against ridiculous odds with the bunk pitstop and puncture in a Mercedes proved he absolutely deserves a spot in the top 5
Perez above verstappen? This must be a joke
I verstappen actually had his fw right at turkey he would’ve had a podium finish percentage of 100% witch is crazy (of the races he finished)
You explaining like Gordon Ramsay and you are the young Gordon Ramsay even the f*cking accent but the video was very effective thx👍🏻
13:20 that accent doe ;)
My top 5:
1. Sergio perez. pretty much a flawless season for him.
2. Max verstappen. He had a bad race in turkey which is why he is second for me, but the rest of the season was pretty much incredible
3. Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton had a solid season like always, but I feel like he missed out on more points than number 1 and 2. He had no competition this year so he had to win the title, but it was still a dominant display from him. (Turkey was simply incredible)
Hey Aldas where do you take your footage from? Is it copyright free or you just decide to eat noodles haha
1.Hamilton
2.max
3.checo
4.charles
5.daniel
