I never thought it possible, but life is strange particularly the first 2 titles, shaped who I became as I grew from a 16 year old teenager when the first game came out, to the adult I am today. The games taught me many valuable life lessons, such as cherishing friends and family as they can be there one minute and gone the next, or to be careful of your actions because 1 little seemingly insignificant action can have an enormous impact, that could change everything. I remember getting it free with PS Plus thinking oh its just another game, but once i played it, i realized how wrong i was. I encourage anyone who hasn't played the first 2 games to try them ASAP they will truly change your life forever.
I'm on LiS 2 right now. I've been playing games for about half of my life, 31 now born in '92. NOTHING even comes close, in writing, excecution, storytelling. Maybe TLOU which I haven't played but have heard innumerous things about. Life is Strange literally changed my life.
The first game has a relatively inconsequential line that most would forget, but it absolutely stuck with me and did end up changing me. It was from Mr. Jefferson. He says, "people need something to judge so that they don't have to look at themselves. In the end, we can only blame ourselves for doing so." This is so in keeping with the themes of the game; with Max's hesitation. But it's also an absolutely true statement that defined my behaviour for a long time until I stopped doing it. Now, I always look at myself before I judge anybody and it has helped me to become so much better of a person.
I was addicted to the vibes, the artstyle, the characters and their personalities and just everything, but most of all, I liked Chloe the most and it left such a mark on me in middle school and to listen to this years later, as an adult. Pure, infiltered nostalgia.

my favorite game with an unforgettable and incredibly mesmerizing soundtrack, oh my… it’s beautiful, i feel like giving you a big hug for making this. definitely will fall asleep listening to this
Life is Strange was the franchise which gave me the courage to come out of the closet as lesbian. All the games have a special place in my heart specially the first 2 and True Colors. It taught me not only love lessions, but empathy, self value, relationship values. Me and my gf met through this game, and I want to make everything to us work, even if it's difficult times I will always try. Those games taught me to never give up too. Life can be cruel but it has its beauty, we just need to look at it with other eyes, through an camera, by listening/playing music, by involving with other people lives, somehow.
true that! i completely agree with the double-sides of life. i'm glad you found a connection with the virtual worlds of _LiS_ it's proof that art can be the only thing that can save a person & change their lives forever.

Never played the game. But i like the obvious "the thing" poster on the top left beside the American flag.
Best horror movie ever.
This is just great. Revoked so many emotions and memories. Thank you.
You should definitely make some videos from True Colors!
"This is gonna be awesome! Trust me."
Yes I've been wanting to! I'll check it out asap and see what I could do
@@SlowWalkthroughs It would be pretty cool, if you made video with this ambient music: ua-cam.com/video/i5TR3Gzf4gE/v-deo.html
It's pretty neat!
@@SlowWalkthroughs I found short variation! ua-cam.com/video/j2UO4P37IlM/v-deo.html
And there's three variations on UA-cam!
Rewatched the game as an adult and now I'm torn over Chloe's ending... :< But it's okay, those memories they made are cherished
I guess I should play that game...
Why would she not keep the one that Chloe gave her thoooo
chloe room..
I always hated this game but I have to admit that the music is good.
Why would you hate a game? Just don't play it.
When did you realise you hated this game and why did you kept playing it?
Same I didn’t like it either
*Helps Chloe clean her room*
stay outta my room!
