My partner and I suffered from a house fire that took everything from us... Our cats didn't survive the smoke inhalation. Marmalade, one of our spoiled babies, always loved stardew valley. Specifically GeminiTwo playing it. Every time we'd leave for a long period, like if our work shifts overlapped, we'd put on a stardew playlist and come home to him contently watching it. It was the only thing to ease his separation anxiety, because he's a rescue who's prior owner passed away. When we realized it was goodbye, I could barely see my screen from tears but I was able to find this video to help comfort him through the transition. Thank you so much for this music, and the stardew community, and GeminiTwo, for bringing my baby any amount of comfort when we were all afraid.
