@@joesakic91 The calls favored them!
Referee must’ve been Christina Lee
greatest game ever?? You mean biggest robbery ever... Canada won this game no matter what the scoreboard says.
I genuinely believe if the ref didn’t make that bullshit call on Canada, tbh et would’ve advanced the the finals against Japan and won this tournament. The USA is definitely a deserving team of the title though
Canada would have lost to Japan. Until Canada wins a World Cup or makes it to the World Cup finals all Canada is. Is hype It got lucky in the Olympics. This Olympics proves how biased the refs favor certain countries like the USA and Canada.
worst officiating I've ever seen
@Gary 3tahler ok clown
@Gary 3tahler lmaooo what an original response. I'm not even Canadian I just know football.
@Gary 3tahler 😂😂 you’ve gone through the comments on this video and have just replied with 🧂🧂🧂. Grow up 🤣🤣
Yeah, for both sides. But the USWNT kept playing to outlast Canada and win.
This was an amazing game... remember watching this shit live... but man those were some shit calls
That game was a robbery, including a fake penalty
I still dont get why this game was played at Old Trafford, which is located in Manchester. This was the 2012 LONDON OLYMPICS!
Huh you're right maybe it's because there wasn't any other stadiums/venues available
@@slasherdoce555 Rubbish, what about the Emirates, Stamford Bridge, White Heart Lane? OMG
@MrGumbwit The London 2012 Olympic committee picked Old Trafford as one of the sites.
It happens for all host cities for Olympic football.
@@mrgumbwit5307 soccer is usually spread across the host country
Greatest game ever played get to absolute feck
LOL at all the whining about the match, and no one notices that the video is badly cropped on the top and bottom.
Correction: Greatest women’s game ever.
👍🤩😍🤩👍
And now Canada Won the gold medal who will say that 😮🇨🇦🥇
The second greatest game stolen by officials. The first was Sweden world hockey championship vs the US which was a total travesty.
That is not handball,
KARMA ....always has been, always will be. Congrats women !!
Was the 2012 game rigged by the referee…??
How does a top level, certified, FIFA referee make SO many mistakes in one game…?!?! 🤷🏼♂️
Good game Canada WNT. You got payback for London 2012. You kept playing and scored while the USWNT didn't.
Good luck at Olympic Gold against Sweden.
I'm not going to lose sleep nor cry about it.
I've seen the USWNT lose to Norway in the 1995 FIFA Women's World Cup SF, Norway in a golden goal after extra time in the 2000 Olympic Gold Medal Game, Germany in the 2003 FIFA World Cup SF, Brazil in the 2007 FIFA World Cup SF, Japan in the 2011 FIFA World Cup Final in penalties, Sweden in the 2016 Olympic QF in penalties, and now this.
I'll take it on the chin and move on like a true trooper.
The referees for some reason give games to the USA. They did it in the 1999 World Cup final against China, and again in the 2015 final against Japan, which was unbelievable. Even the announcers were speechless. And again against Japan in yet another final after 2015. It really is a scandal.
Well, that's them breaks.
The USWNT kept playing to win the 1999 and 2015 FIFA Women's World Cups and the 2012 Summer Olympics Gold Medal.
Too bad the ref didn’t get a medal as well. Some of the most incompetent reffing ever. Absolutely no reason to be proud of this win.
Your hating tears are so delicious. Can I have some more please?
@@joesakic91 ha ha not crying at all. Just watch the game and see how ignorant you are of soccer if you even remotely think the US would have won without biased reffing. I enjoy knowing the truth, while you blissfully wallow in your ignorance, but then again you wouldn't be a typical American if you weren't devoid of understanding the basic rules of anything.
@@Navi1057 Bad calls happen, bubba.
It's all about which team handles every call the best and kept playing to win.
That's why the USWNT is the most successful women's association football/soccer team in the world.
Keep hating. The more you hate, the sweeter their titles are. 😉
@@joesakic91 funny you can't use an American hockey player for a name. Also there is a difference between getting the odd benefit of a bad call , and consistently being able to count on at least one or more gifts in every game. So again demonstrate your ignorance and enjoy the knowing full well it was bogus. Same in the final game against China at Olympics in the shootout. US goaltender blatantly left the line on every single penalty kick. Every single kick by China should have been allowed to be retaken if needed. Again check the tape and rules.
Ck
@@Navi1057 Um, the USWNT played Japan in the London 2012 Gold Medal Game. The USWNT played China in the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup Final and won via penalties.
BTW, what's wrong with Joe Sakic as one of my favorite hockey players?
You love judging things like a book by its cover without reading a single page.
Keep hating. The USWNT titles keep getting sweeter.
Even after CANWNT winning olympic gold and CANMNT finishing top of CONCACAF and qualfying for Qatar, this makes me want to puke. F'n BS 6 second rule I've never seen enforced anywhere else..
Well, the USWNT beat Canada last night in the 2022 CONCACAF W Championship, 1-0, to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and the USMNT still qualified automatically for Qatar 2022.
Your standards for greatest game are extremely low
Came back today to relive a happier ending for the USA
God the color commentator just screaming every big moment ruins great moments
I loved Brandi Chastain as a player, but as a color commentator? My ear drums hurt.
Karma
Without Christine Sinclair, Canada is shit!
ayye usa!
You should have stated it was womens
Greatest women's association football/soccer match of all time was this.
Greatest overall match? Italy 4-3 West Germany in the 1970 FIFA World Cup inside Mexico City's Esatdio Azteca.
Cr7 es mejor
Hope Solo was overrated.
Yeah, get back on the Falcon with the wookie
what a foolish Canadian keeper
That's what you took away from this? Shit refereeing, great hatrick from Sinclair, bullshit penalty call and a conspiracy theory regarding making sure the Americans make the final and you highlight a goalie mistake. Oh well, each to his own
Rigged
Sour grapes, much?
Greatest game ever hahahaha what a joke of a post
@Nathaniel Millar In women's association football/soccer, USA v. CAN 2012 Summer Olympics SF is the greatest game in their category.
Overall though? It's all about Italy vs. Germany in the SF of 1970 FIFA World Cup.
