Really says something about the quality of the Nueral DSP Archetype plugins when the artists use them in their own tracks (using the built-in reverb, to boot!). Another great video, Cory. Love what you do
These videos are the best. Cory, your output is inspiring. Also, so glad I learned about Phoebe from you about a year or two ago. Her vocals are awesome. I love her solo stuff. I hope she starts getting more recognition!
This track is so good!! From the percussion to the sweet gutiar lines to the silky-smooth sax to the GLORIOUS harmonies!!! This one definitely stood out to me when i listened to the album. Fantastic job!
You could totally release Phoebe’s vocal parts soloed as another track - that gave me chills man! Also really glad that percussion has been explained - definitely need to try that out
Awesome! I THOUGHT I was hearing Dave’s original key noise recording in that track, plus added triplets. Spent a lot of time in early high school trying to learn what he did. The end riff going up the horn always reminded me of the sound a soda can makes when opening it!
Thanks Cory for sharing this. Always so cool to see how you create these tunes and the interactions with the other fine musicians. A real inspiration for all of us. Seems like you guys always have such fun. Please keep them coming. 😀
What a nice video. One of your best "on the one!". I really enjoyed it. Funny how a single song can have so much background behind it. It's mindboggling to think about all the artists and producers behind the 1000+ songs I listen to casually on spotify could have this much work, energy and meaning - without me ever thinking about it.
Love this tune!! the percussive sax sounds with the bass reminds me of Kenni’s crazy slap sax thing 😂 and always love the Wong/Katis combo!! Harmonies like a warm blanket 😌
Love these videos! I don’t have any ProTool knowledge, but I so appreciate the breakdown-I catch things I didn’t hear in the first few listens, and it completely changes the way I hear the tunes.
So brilliant and talented. If I could go back in time I would continue with band and I would learn guitar much earlier. Any advice on how to get my kids interested without forcing it upon them. I have two sons, 5 and 2. I think it's too early, maybe start in a year or two! Any suggestions anyone? Thanks!!
@@CoryWongMusic amazing, do you think they sound good and detailed overall? Or is it missing some key things compared to a higher end speaker? By the way you just made the rest of my day by replying.
Wong + Koz + Katis = Magic
=Katikoonz
Using key noise is soooo clever! Building a song around it is amazingly creative. Love Phoebe's sensitive vocals.
Love how Cory invites us in to witness the process. Truly a man who appreciates his fans!

I saw the notification for this upload and dropped everything I was doing. Thanks Cory 👍🏼
Phoebe's vocals are unreal.

Phoebe's vocals are TIGHT ! Man, she's something else...

Love her voice so much!
those vocal harmonies are simply beautiful

When I first heard the song I was like, "What is that percussion?" 🎷🤯
Fun seeing your process. Looking forward to seeing you at Newport Jazzfest!!
Really appreciate Cory's bit at the end on how he breaks down credit/profits etc. good to know!

Would love to see "Together Again"! That horn section is just killing!
Thanks a lot!! for sharing this. Like musician, I apreciate so much how you (a great artist and professional) "cook" a tune and an album.
Slamming collaboration
Great breakdown Cory!
These videos are great, keep them coming! Also, I missed Petar!

This is a fantastic immersion into the creative process. Plus, the details of what settings is used is really very valuable. Thanks a lot.
Thanks Cory , very inspiring !

Impressively creative!
on the wong
You’re right 👍✨ this is a great plugin, ❤️ it !!!
Just recorded a track today using your Archetype. It’s so versatile.
Love hearing more about the financial side and how profits are split
this is beautiful
Good to see Cory again.
Awesome vid! Love this series. Any chance you can do Getaway Car? So much to talk about on that one.

Hi Cory, could u please answer what fx u used on Dave’s Sax?
The best part about this video is Cory’s mac’s name is “wangusyoung”
whhhheeeeeerrreeeee can i get sheet music for that sax solo, I'm begging!
10:53 who knew a ' soprano ' sax would be so significant to the rhythm some day
Anybody know what that lil grey controller looking thing between him and the monitor is?
why is the guitar so noisy when you recorded directly into the box? Does it emulate amp noise as well?
wow nice video, are you using the hs8 as mains?
yea! i've used them since i first started as a producer. i just know them really well and know how they respond and translate to different settings!

The guitar part sounds like a song from the game „life is strange“
Did this get you the Koz-nod?
When are we going to get On The One: Limited World?
be careful, Cory. an australian megachurch may sample these guitar sounds without crediting you.
maybe he used that Megachurch Guitar sound and he didnt say a word about it :)
I also like to touch my saxophone some times
Art of Keynoise? More like charge your keyboard 🔋
For a second I thought he said Phoebe Waller Bridge. Kratis is a much better singer 😅
