This is a great series - for 3 reasons: 1. There is an element of risk. At some point it's going to go pear shaped. 2. The characters he picks up along the way are interesting. 3. Learning and about the coastal history of the Uk is great.
27.43 that's me and my good friends, Mick Lister, Simon and Jane Crowther. We had a stunning week of weather having had a cracking sail over from Falmouth. It was good to meet Harry and his friend. Great series.
Harry, beautiful cinematography. I’m learning a lot about the UK coastline and enjoying every bit of it. And Charlie, what an awesome travel companion. Hopefully you show up in future vids. Thanks for sharing this fantastic adventure.
Harry: "We've just come from Falmouth" HIs reply: "in that, no way........" Love it, sum's up the complete and utter madness in doing this, but I hope you succeed.
This series is a lovely antidote to the self flagellation the people of the UK are being subjected to currently by sections of society determined to divide us. Just goes to show that Britain is still as bloody brilliant as ever. Fabulous coastline populated by friendly people and of course, the most British thing of all, one man taking on a crazy adventure in an unsuitable machine and doing it all with a smile on their face.
The UK Tourism Board needs to give you a pile of money. I'm already booking a trip and the Burgh Island Hotel is on the itinerary. Looking into Knightswear. Fantastic work. Keep it up. Also, you're mental for taking a 43-year-old RIB 1,500 miles in any direction. Godspeed.
Approachable and hugely addictive. Curiously more interesting than large scale expedition sagas and the multitude of fake survival dramas. These are real people (i assume!) who not only enjoy themselves but make mistakes and admit their feelings. For me this is by far the best use of the utube format, quite wonderfully done. Some sort of award would be well deserved for the whole production crew. Superb ...!
I’ve never commented on a UA-cam video before, but I feel compelled to. Harry, your films are so heartwarming, so delightfully bonkers, and the perfect form of escapism, particularly during these crazy and horrible times. You’re doing more to improve thousands of people’s mental health than you probably realise. Keep up the good work!
Harry, you are the best ambassador for how beautiful people can be, how wonderful the world a few miles away can be if we just venture further. Thank you for your vlog’s, I’m packing a bag, see where my travels take me . 🇨🇭🤘
This is why UA-cam was created!! I am on my 3rd week into a a post operation recovery and loving this. I did my RYA powerboat course a couple of years back and this has inspired me to buy a boat when I am out of hospital. Keep the good times coming chaps!!
I enjoyed this so much! My friend and I (we are Norwegians) have so far walked all the coastline from Westward Ho! to Penzance along the South West Coast Path. In 2019 we walked from St. Ives to Penzance, and after that we spent a week on the Isles Of Scilly. We are totally in love with these areas. It is amazing to get a sea view of the areas we have walked. And you two present your voyage and the experiences in a fantastic way :-) And you should really watch the Poldark series ;-)
Me and the kids absolutely love this series. Have watched the boat refurb series as well. Stumbled across this channel when looking for videos about the sea forts in Thames Estuary, when I was planning to visit on my jetski.
Yep, I agree... This is being enjoyed on the telly with my missus... and a glass of beer. Nice way to spend 45 minutes. I might need some crisps for the next episode.
Seeing longships lighthouse was amazing, my grandfather was a lighthouse keeper on longships lighthouse in 1957 with the family living in the cottages on the cliffs, my Nan used to stand against the white wall of the cottages and do semaphore to my grandfather on the lighthouse whilst he would watch with his binoculars, the equivalent of today’s texting I guess. Then you end up in St ives where my aunty lived for may years right on the seafront before it became a tourist attraction. So many memories. Cracking show, been following all along, stay safe.
I truly love this series. Many years ago me and a friend shared a 14 foot Fletcher and although we didn't go around the coast, we hauled it to places such as Lee on Solent (often for water skiing), Fowey, Newquay and the Isle of Bute. Wonderful to watch, thanks for bringing some nostalgic tears to my eyes.
These are some of if the not the top best series of videos I have ever watched on YT ! The semi-haphazard adventure, the banter between the sailing partners you have on board and the strangers you meet along the way, the interesting facts about the british coast. Not to mention the professional videography by means of GoPros, main camera, drone footage, stop motion map visuals. All absolutely brilliant !
I grew up on a small lake in Virginia, USA- constantly boating as a teenager. Not until I was in graduate school did I decide to "circumnavigate" the lake as an adventure- thick cypress trees made some parts very difficult to get around. This vlog reminds me of that exact spirit. For boaters this spirit is quite universal. Thanks for the refreshing take on your channel.
There are some excellent travel/comedy/history/documentary type channels and shows out there, but honestly I think I'm most interested in this series. Wonderful blend of personalities, history, travel, adventure, snacks, and a grand mission of circumnavigation. Hard balance to strike, but you've certainly done it. It may take a long while to finish, and I'm fine with that, I don't want it to end. Also excellent stop motion and music...and really great travel companions... hard to name all the positives!
The further you go, the more I realise quite what a complete and characterful document of our coastline this will be and I can't think of an equivalent! Really appreciate the balance of history, adventure and larking about!
Those retro boats were a joy, and enjoyed the tour of the boats being made. What a great video and a fabulous adventure- I’m so jealous. The Ilses of Scilly are amazing
I have a 1971 14 FT. Sidewinder in Purple with metal flake ...powered by a 1971 Mercury 80 H.P. 2 stroke .. so this is right up my alley seeing your Phantom 16 boat.
From the bottom of the heart of an ocean sailor, I say to both of you - well done on keeping adventure alive in whatever way adventure deems necessary!
Watched from the very start....honest if this fella doesn't get commissioned to do something on TV then I give up....better than 99.9% of the crap on TV. Cheers Harry.
Funny thing, I was thinking about you and this series just the other day, and here you are with a new episode! I'm thoroughly enjoying this series, Harry. I think your content is absolutely top notch, with great production value to boot. Can't wait for the next installment!
I’m a sailor , I live the other side of the world to you Harry, but I just love your episodes ! Should be a TV series ! Thanks so much for posting this latest video, fabulous
Watching all these videos is making me realise how beautiful parts of the south coast are! This whole series has been excellent, I can't imagine how much work goes in to filming and editing these videos.
I've just stumbled over your series Harry. From a yacht owner, this is fantastic, much better than anything on TV. Hope you've got more adventures planned. Cracking work 👏👍⛵🏴☠️
Harry, Charlie, Lizzie, Eddy, Lucy and the chap from episode 3 (I daren't spell your name)...you're all a class act! What an adventure! Really enjoying the secluded and historic nooks, especially the camping episodes. Bring on episode 7!
I have come quite late to this epic journey and love it! Can't believe how brave you were to make for the Scillies. Looking forward to when you eventually get up here to the Moray Coast in N.E. Scotland.
Never felt such joy before for a video popping up in my notifications. You're the only creator that i think makes great content that really fits my interests. Since the foam removal video i was hooked and watched everything ever since. Thank you and keep making interesting series like this! Cheers mate
Only just found for your video’s Harry been watching all weekend and never enjoyed UA-cam so much, what you have done is something on my bucket list but after you showing off are stunning coastline my barge is going up for sale and buying a sailing yacht.Keep your car videos coming to Harry brilliant👌🏻
Tresco is my favourite place on Earth, been there many times, as a working musician ive travelled all over Europe Ireland & USA.... but Tresco its amazing if you want to chill , no cars, one shop. one pub... heaven on Earth scenery
*Hi Harry! I've watched this whole series a couple of times now and it even spurred me on to buy a tiny boat of my own! The Taurus is a 14ft 'day boat' built by Carrick Marine here in Cornwall and she has a 25hp Mariner. Unfortunately that's just about all I know about her. She looks like a Falmouth Bass Boat but has a jockey seat / console. Hopefully I'll have her back in the water very soon and have got a mooring near Penryn. It's a steep learning curve (as I know nothing about boats) but I can't wait to explore the coastline here in Cornwall. Anyway, thank you for the inspiration! Mark*
The local tourism council must love you. What beautiful beaches and clear water. And I'm a beach snob, having grown up on beaches of the Pacific Ocean. Well done, lads!
What an amazing country we have !
This is a great series - for 3 reasons:
1. There is an element of risk. At some point it's going to go pear shaped.
2. The characters he picks up along the way are interesting.
3. Learning and about the coastal history of the Uk is great.
There are very few youtube channels that make me feel this happy, this year. Thank you Harry! I love this adventure.
Yep I'm sat here watching the whole thing with a gormless smile on my face 😂
This beats terrestrial tv any day .
Just out of interest...what are the other channels you have been watching...always nice to get tips 👍
Agree 100% . Well done Harry this is excellent.
@fastasfox Steve Wallis the original stealth camper.
This series is like a best buddy that lives on the other side of the world. You don’t get to see it often, but you’re always glad when it shows up
"What's for tea?"
"Well, this evening I think we're going to have crisps and cigarettes."
Love it!!
Just watching this episode for the 5th time. Guys this is magic, you guys are awesome 👌
Best adventure series along with Geowizard's straight line missions 🥰
They should do a collab. Although its not hard to cross an ocean in a straight line
totally agree
27.43 that's me and my good friends, Mick Lister, Simon and Jane Crowther. We had a stunning week of weather having had a cracking sail over from Falmouth. It was good to meet Harry and his friend. Great series.
of the episodes published so far this is my favourite
Harry, beautiful cinematography. I’m learning a lot about the UK coastline and enjoying every bit of it. And Charlie, what an awesome travel companion. Hopefully you show up in future vids. Thanks for sharing this fantastic adventure.
Charlie is the gift that keeps giving.
Harry: "We've just come from Falmouth"
HIs reply: "in that, no way........"
Love it, sum's up the complete and utter madness in doing this, but I hope you succeed.
The David Bellamy impression, and "we're into the outdoors and camping, but we're still a little bit pretentious" Got me clicking the LIKE BUTTON :)

As a small rib owner and sealover, THANK YOU! Your content is fantastic and inspiring, wish there were more people like you guys! Cheers from Italy :)

This episode quotable quote. " I don't get scared of things but I think that's due to the lack of intelligent insight!" Charlie
This sort of content is what you tube was made for

You're the man Harry! I absolutely adore your adventures. 👍🏻
❤ watching again ❤
Me and the kids absolutely love this series. Have watched the boat refurb series as well. Stumbled across this channel when looking for videos about the sea forts in Thames Estuary, when I was planning to visit on my jetski.
Brilliant ,Fantastic photography, drone footage and commentary keep up the good work👍
What a nice surprise, one of the only youtubers which make me move from the PC to the living room to fully enjoy the content.
Yep, I agree... This is being enjoyed on the telly with my missus... and a glass of beer. Nice way to spend 45 minutes. I might need some crisps for the next episode.
Such a nice series, excellent job Harry (watching it in Florida)
I can safely say following thousands of videos watched on UA-cam, on numerous genres, this series is by far the best.

Harry go as slow as you like, just a great pleasure to watch one of the best shows on UA-cam ,

Lovely leg of the journey. I think you were really lucky with the weather around Lands End. Scillys look fantastic, pleased you went there.
